Explain what you mean by you tried another screen. You connected the vga port to an external monitor? If yes then your friend might be right that it's a motherboard problem. Looks like onboard VGA is dancing death dance

The error message No boot disk has been detected or the disk has failed arose because you still had the external hard disk drive (HDD) connected while rebooting the system. Most systems are configured to boot from A USB drive first and only if a USB drive isn't found will it boot from internal HDD (or other internal drives depending on how you BIOS is configured). Disconnecting the external HDD was the right thing to do. You can safely reboot the system and it should boot to Windows without any issues. Then you can connect your external HDD and carry on as normal. What needs to be understood though is why the computer failed when your kids were watching movie. Did they perhaps touch something? Power fluctuate?

I initially thought it was the keyboard but change of keyboard has not helped. Then I thought it was a virus. I've updated the antivirus and scanned but no show. Ok seems legit to me. There are at least two I'm very conversant with. Both free and run on LAMP/WAMP. If I decide to do a deep search I'm certain I'd come out with loads of others. So availability of the software isn't the issue. The challenge is that most of the free email providers(Yahoo, Gmail) will not allow you send 10k emails in a month. There's a daily limit of 100-150 mails daily. So where the real challenge lies is in finding a mail provider that can allow you send that many emails. Most will charge for it. A few might allow you send 10k emails monthly for free but often they'd attach an advert to the end of it.

What do you want to accomplish with it? There are loads of open source CBT scripts on sourceforge. Heck u can even take a LMS and strip it down.
