Religious compatibility is important in marriage. Often times, it looks not important at the early stage of marriage, however as children comes it becomes serious issue. When you are convinced about what you believe, what you want your children to believe becomes your preoccupation.
Even within the same faith, doctrinal differences can often strain family relationship. Marriage is often not enough to make someone starts believing what he/she has hitherto consider heretical. While marriage across divides within pentecostal fold is often not serious enough to cause much conflict in marriages; doctrinal issues resulting from marriage between orthodox christians and pentecostal christians can really restrain marital union. I honestly won't advice a born and bred Jehovah witness to marry a devout Catholic neither do I think it is appropriate for a deeper life Christian and some other Pentecostal movement to marry into the catholic fold.
