It is has been a while, i've been quite busy with academic work. reading previous threads remind me of several things, i'm such many of you will understand, but i give God all the glory

@All: few months ago i was also fretting and worried about TRV issues, but then a calm reading of previous thread actually helped me a lot, i also asked questions too. pls be encouraged! never give up! never!

@Tolyem: i do not think it is necessary to submit your wife/children's international passport, it is absolutely unnecessary! the marriage and birth certs are perfectly OK. just relax, God is in control. yeah, your house approve plan or other documents are okay, you can send them, hope they are in your name sha, or else, a letter explaining the different names should be included. All the best bro!

@SimonAndal: if you have enough money in your a/c, why not? you may also need to show strong family ties sha, just to assure them you will return after your studies. you don't also need to fill a separate form for the TRV, the Study Permit application is enough.

I arrived Toronto yesterday! i hope to leave to Saskatoon today, thanks for love and support, i'm sorry though for not posting anything for a while now: i've been preparing oooo and it was time consuming! Mine, thi place is really cool.

@All; i got a surprise call from cdhc yesterday asking me why i didn't send my passport again after my medicals, i explained i sent it far back as 6th December, with the 'proof of personal funding', i'm a bit worried o, hope devil is not trying pranks, hmmmmm, i know the God i serve oooo, His Will must be done!

@Newacca: i'm really surprised at this development, 9mts treatment? anyway, God's will must be done. once again, u amaze me by your faith and patience.

@Tolyem: don't worry you will hear from them shortly, remember i send dem a mail, they sent same reply and the next day they send the medical invitation.

@Snuteria: Thanks! i've submitted a sponsor's letter before, do i still need another? the letter actually said "personal funds", well, i'll still make inquiries.

@Bullstriker: i believe u'll hear from them soon. i had to email cdhc- that's risky too sha. i also monitor UPS by tracking the parcel, in fact i didn't wait for UPS to call them, i did! lol.
@ All: pls i still need info/suggestion on how i can provide "proof of funds for yourself. your personal financial information is required." the funny thing is that i actually got nice funding from my sch, asking my employer for 'sponsor' letter was just to be on the safe side. i don't know why they now want to bother me with my "personal funds". Please help me o, suggestions needed!

@Bullstriker: i submitted 23/08. my sponsor already wrote to them, the principal even attached his bank statement and land docs but he didn't depose to an affidavit. how far with yours?

@Bashtee, @Bullstriker: Thanks. i didn't submit any payslip, you know one funny thing? the name of the person who pays my salary into my account is constant, whereas i've changed my employers- as per my application. do you think it will matter? i can submit all my bank statements sha. if they will add up

@Bashtee: like how much do you think will be sufficient? i have some money here and there in other a/c, should i move them all to one a/c? what if someone pays something substantial into my a/c shortly before i send it to them- will it matter?

@Bashtee: but i don't keep money in my salary a/c. i usually withdraw it almost immediately

@ Bashtee: i told them i'm working. my company (a law firm) is actually sponsoring me. i don't have shares, the car i use now is official car- so to speak. what do u think?

however, i also got another letter asking me to provide 'proof of funds for yourself. your personal financial information is required." Abeg, i don't know how to go about this, i have some little moneys here and there: should consolidate them in one bank account? Pls help o!

dear Nairalanders, i sent an email to CDHC on Friday to find out the status of my application. however, they replied yesterday only to inform me my application "is still in process" - whatever that means! At least i now know they received my application, so what choice do i have than to wait? wait for them to even send medical instruction. can anyone confirm if it is true that they send medical instruction by phone now? thanks
