There are some bugs on Gionee M6 firmware.
Please what is the latest firmware for the device, mine is version 5506 and I can't find a new update. Please check yours as I want to confirm if there is indeed no new update or my phone is not searching for firmware update cos it is rooted. You can find your firmware current version in system settings > About Phone > System Updates. Thanks.

I got same also around a week ago, I was sent my appointment letter with mouthwatering benefits but was asked to get a drilling certificate but that they accept only nebosh, shell and also one online drilling certificate from a website I was given but the programme to get the certificate is quite expensive. Was thinking maybe they collaborated with the website to get customers that will come for the certificates and nothing else.

Seriously not at all but I was amazed by the phone. I used a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 before I purchased this gionee but since I got this m6 my Note 3 has been gathering dust and ready for sale. That's just the truth. They need commendation.

As if that is not enough, Gionee still went ahead and stepped up the phone with a learning infrared sensor not just only infrared emitter for controlling appliances. What this means is that it can learn from any infrared remote control, just open the Gionee remote app preloaded on the phone and you can shine your real remote to the Gionee's infrared sensor and it learns the code so you can use the phone for the control after the successful learning. This is a feature missing in more expensive Samsung flagship phones, they just have an emitting infrared. The feature is especially very useful for devices of which remote you can't find online for download. Gionee is amazing. Their Amigo ROM is amazing, I has many features of custom rom. Overall Nice experience. Grand Master Indeed!

This is really an issue because it is very annoying to me as well. The only PARTIAL workaround I've discovered for now is that you can long press on the clear recent apps circle button on recent apps screen, then you can add apps to be protected that won't be cleared whether by shaking in recent apps screen or by clicking the clear recent apps circular button. But there's an issue/bug; it only works when your "multi task display style" in display settings is set to "card style".

Expecting a solution to disable the shake to clear hassle soon.

The whole of Oyo town has been in total darkness for 12 days now since March 1st 2017 and no hope of power restoration because there has been no official statement from IBEDC about the cause of the blackout or what is being done concerning it or when it is expected to be restored.

IBEDC (Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company) has been treating her customers in a very pathetic manner because customers deserve to know why a problem occurred and what is being done on resolving it but it has been like this for a long time. There would be problem with power and nobody would have an iota of idea about its cause or probably it is intentional. What would it cost them to pass the message across not even with paid media advertisement but just on their Facebook page or Twitter handle, I doubt if they have those anyway because all what they are interested in is just the distribution of crazy/estimated bills.

Mods, please move this to the front page, we need to get a response from the concerned company because it's becoming so much unbearable. Thanks.

Shouldn't batteries be charges from Inverters only provide the inverter has auto charging facility?

Another question I would like you to answer; should I worry about discharging the battery too much since my imported inverter has auto shutdown when battery is low? If yes, what is the depth of discharge (DOD) of an typical inverter (though I think it can vary based on manufacturer) with auto shutdown on low battery.

Also what is the the corresponding voltage of 30% and 50% depth of discharge of a 12 volt lead acid battery?

I registered on 14/11/16 provided help on 28/11/16 , the release date on my PO is 14/12/16. But I discovered that the release date has been removed. But the 50 dollar mavro released date is 14/12/16.

I'm very sure the AC won't be in use over 90% of the time if used for commercial purpose because it'll consume more fuel and also opening and closing doors frequently due to number of passengers boarding and alighting the tricycle. Anyway, it's always good to have an option and now we have an option to switch on AC. Kudos

This is so disheartening, I just hope the investigation would be carried out properly and measures put in place to prevent future occurrences. I just completed my service year last month and I can say that the negligence on the part of most nysc officials toward corps members is top notch but thanks to God for the successful completion. I'm currently on my way travelling to Akwa-Ibom State from Oyo State but stuck in a serious traffic jam due to road blockage on the said route because of Edo state election holding today. The question is why blocking a major federal road because of a state election knowing that this expressway is the second most important route after Lagos-Ibadan expressway? All we can see are helicopters and drones carrying out surveillance of the whole geographical area.
