chibentech:Something tells me there is something not right with this post. First the poster is talking about hearing about the company as far back as 2004, suddenly he claims we( the poster and the company) have trading partners in USA, then he ends it all with a wish that his application could be given review and merited attention. How can one be so confused with his personality sef?....... I leave discerning minds to judge. |
Firefire:Yeah that's the major problem of our leaders in Nigeria. Let's just hope he doesn't end up like Tunde. That guy too elitist for my liking |
This Ambode's government just seem to be getting it right at every turn. Tho initially I was never a fan of his, but I must confess he has won me over. He keeps rolling out projects, constructing roads in local communities hitherto abandoned by his predecessor, and now he's seeing to fruition one of the good legacies initiated by his predecessor. I hope he keeps it up during his second term which he will surely get even if he campaigns under a party comprising of ten members |
AreaJ:I didn't attend any of the interviews, but just like I said I have someone who attended this interview and the first one for primary school teachers and I was informed state origin was asked. See, am not a Lagos State indigent but I know it's typical of Lagos State to give favour indigenous people of the state preference when it comes to stuff like dis. Even in my days in lasu, when it comes to admission processing indigenes Have a lesser cut off mark compared to non indigenes. This does not mean we non indigenes were not admitted on merit. All states in Nigeria practise this, so let's not make it seem as if Lagos State has done the extraordinary. Y'all should be hopeful the cut off they may apply will favour u, that's all |
AreaJ:This is a baseless allegation and just mere beer parlour discuss. Though I didn't apply for the this exercise, neither did I apply for the primary school teachers' as well, but I followed the latter keenly and even following the former more keenly. I assisted a family friend in applying for the first exercise for the primary school teachers and I must say I commend lagos state government a little for how they handled it. In the list which was pasted after analysing it, an unbiased mind will see that 10 marks was awarded to lagos state indigenes(which is a bit understandable), yet there are still non indigenes who scored far higher than Lagos indegenes in total even without getting any mark for being non indigene. I know this one will not be an exception as well. What am saying is, If u perform very well u will definitely get in on merit, even when the indigenes are still hopeful. |

I won't pretend to know what you are going thru, but I must tell you its not yet time for your you to give up. Most of the people you see today with good jobs did not all start big. All you just need do is to keep going. Concerning job search, I suggest you need to be more strategic about it. By this, I mean u don't just need to carry Cv and start perambulating the whole lagos. Rather, you should know the sector you in which you searching for the job, do a google search of companies in such sector of the economy and pen down their office address, email address and website as well. Having done this, you should send ur cv to their emails and if possible upload ur cv to the career page on their website. Then you can proceed to the street armed with address of such companies where you can drop the hard copies of your cv. In doing this, you need to be friendly with security operatives, receptionist and other gatekeepers as you need their help if you resume will ever get to the management. Also be friendly with fellow job seekers too because they might get info about a job other than the one u applied for, once u are in communication with them it is easy for them to share such info with you.(Believe me, this works fine I got a job offer tru an info which was shared by a fellow job seeker we met at an interview) You may argue that will be an expensive venture, going all about lagos on a meagre budget dropping CV's , However just like I said be strategic. Group the address of all companies within the same axis and follow that tru for a day, do same for companies in order axis and you will be fine. Lastly, put your hope in the God you pray to , and don't be despaired. You are getting their, great people always have challenges |
The same konga that hires and fires within 6 months and call it corporate strategy? And to think some people will still apply....smh. |

S6un:The are not winding up the business now, this is not rocket science. Let them pay the outstanding taxes and the company will be reopened. As simple as that. Except the company is unwilling to pay its debt. One major problem with Nigerians is we always like to compare our country with foreign countries, we desire to enjoy they do over ther, but we don't want to learn from them. When Messi was being prosecuted for this same offence did anybody talk about negotiation? Tax evasion is a crime and that is what it is. |
Even iPhone sef knows PDP is a colossal failure. ![]() |
