Osun will definitely not live up to its side because they now have their own state University, and just like u said the state is short on funds. This video I just saw just confirmed to me that Ajimobi is far worse compared to every other governor the state had in the past and could ever have.
I mean what 4ckery is this?! How can a governor who is meant to serve the people talk to the youth who form the bulk majority of the electorate in this manner, huh? I mean how can a public office holder stand in public and make such a moronic statement like 'Did schools start getting closed today?'', and that "How much is eight month strike sef"

All these advice are useful for students schooling under normal conducive learning atmosphere where all things being equal, ur result is an end product of ur efforts. e.g A private university where lecturers carry out the job they are carried out to do without putting sentiments,emotions and personal interest ahead when assessing students.
Move away from there and go to the typical Nigerian public university system and you will know following all these advice may not yield graduating with a first class, not to talk of distinction in all courses.

As for me, I will advise a typical Nigerian student in the public university system to take his or her study serious at heart,but not carry it on his head. I mean U should read when u ought to read ,at a pace u are convinced u can assimilate as much as u can, but also have a social life. Don't go about reading in the sports centre,library, chapel, mosque,faculty, hostel, home,kitchen,etc even to the extent everyone starts calling u scholastical, yet there are 15 other students who read less and their cgpa is way ahead of you. Its important u have a balanced life, else u might find it difficult adjusting later after school as regards networking.

The quest of good cgpa does not stop u from flexing at all. Myself for example, I do my bottles when need be, yet I don't mix pleasure with academics.

Then again, expect the unexpected. some lecturers make it so difficult for students to even score B not to talk of A, But then impossibility is nothing.You may be the first person to score A in such course in the history of ur department. This can be achieved not by telling everybody u will score A or writing it on the wall of ur room/back of ur book, rather by setting ur heart to it and working towards it.
