yetunsbay:If u want to start a career in the insurance sector, then CIIN is ur best bet. By this, I mean working in the core insurance technical department like underwriting, claims, reinsurance, insurance broking etc. However, u can also work in an insurance organisation /insurance broking firm without having to do CIIN, provided u will be working in departments like accounting/finance, HR etc. In this instance, u will be needing ICAN and CIPM certifications respectively. So the ball lies in ur court, u are the one who knows exactly what u want |

Please still waiting for some help on this |
This is a welcome development...... More arrests should be made, the young ones among them should be taken to welfare, while the older ones should be taken to detention centres where they can learn a particular trade/ handwork. This should however come with a prize, they should be made to farm and the produce should be sold by the government to generate more internal generated revenue which can then be re invested in the society at large. If it is done this way, the government will succeed in saving more lives, ensuring the hawkers get empowered and also make some little cash |
Rainfade:check your mail bro, I just sent you a pm |

Hawking in traffic in its entirety is illegal and very dangerous. It beats me how the government is trying to prevent avoidable deaths, yet some educated peeps still want it to continue all in the name of claiming the economy is bad. For God sake, peddling wares at ojuwoye market is quite different from selling gala on ikorodu road. nobody will stop you from peddling wares in a market, but selling in the traffic exposing yourself and other road users to danger should be highly condemned. By the way, before someone comes here and start saying am an elitist who never knew what the hustle was like, bear in mind am someone who worked as a service boy/caterer throughout my schooling days, so I know what it feels like to hustle. |

Some graduates too are being lazy and want to sit at home for jobs to meet them at home. Imagine telling someone to enter streets to drop CVs in some particular organizations, only for me to ask him later and he told me...... Ehn, I submit cv online(as if I didn't know the HR has an email b4)..... Smh. While he is giving that yeye excuse, the other guy I gave them the info at the same time has already gotten to the medical stage of the same company. |

Nice development. Loans are meant to be serviced and not just collect and spray in parties all in the name of being called big men. For those who might be wondering how these big men are able to get loans up to billions from banks, it's quite simple. When you go to the bank that u want a loan of say 7billion for business purposes, you go with ur contribution of say 1 billion , and list of ur collateral properties. The bank then sends estate valuers to value your properties and send in a valuation report detailing the open market value and forced sale value of the properties. Now the property alone does not guarantee that the bank's money is safe with you, so they ensure you get an insurance policy that covers the full FSV of the property and in the contract of insurance the banks interest is noted as the first loss payee in the event of a loss. It is after then the bank will drop it's contributions and from then u have a time line of refunding the loan. It is when you default that problems start. However, to protect business relationship banks in Nigeria don't always feel inclined to seal off the business premises in the event of default and that is where their problems start. Thank God AMCON is doing a good job sha |
