31st

They will get back to you before then. If you stay ariund Lagos, I will suggest you go to there and know what's up yourself. A friend of mine went there yesterday to know what's up after much mail's sent to them with no response, he was asked to come today with a copy of his enrolment extension from his school.

My people,

The journey has not been funny for me....

Had my interview 6th September with a funded block Account....

Untill now, I haven't received an AM.

Emailed both my allien office and Federal office, they said my application has been concluded, and that the embassy will get to me.

Have sents tons of email to the embassy yet no response.

Please what should I do

I pray they get back by Friday, latest. When is your enrolment deadline?

Good day everyone. I need advice on my pending visa application. I went for interviewed on 17th August, AM came in on 13th of sept. My enrollment deadline was 11th oct. After my interview, I got disappointed by the person who's suppose to grant me SL. So ever since then I have been battling with a possible BA or SL to no avail. Few days before enrollment deadline I had to write my school. No room for enrollment extension, so I had to defer my admission till summer. Now I have a summer admission letter, and embassy is still having my documents expecting me to forward SL or BA for the winter. Here is my question: which will be more advisable between these two options
1) to secure the SL or BA, and forward it to embassy along with the summer admission letter and probably a travel insurance dated march 2019
Or
2) cancel my pending application with reasons, then apply afresh when all the requirements are available. And if I do this, I will like to know if there is specific time interval to reapply?

I think you will have to go for no. 2
Besides, you should have inform the embassy about your deferred admission explaining to details what led to it.
My thoughts though.

Why does it take embassy so long to return Passport, do they need the approval of Alien Authority for that?

Hello Everyone, Please who knows or Have anyone that can help with an accomodation in Frankfurt, Wiesbaden Or Mainz Area...Please Safe a Brother From Sleeping On The Street...Thanks.

You can't sleep on the street bro. Stay calm!

Talk to your school's student union or authorities concerned with welfare, I am such they will provide an accommodation you can lay your head for few weeks.

Please I'll like to ask, is there any practical way to circumvent submitting TOEFL for German schools? Especially given the facts that I completed my BSc in English language?

Write to the school you are applying to if there is a waiver for toefl. Most schools in germany give an exemption for such exams to countries whose official language is English. Write them that you will be presenting a letter of English proficiency in place of the former that your bsc was being taught in English.

Hello house, please who do we address letter of recommendation to, since we will be using one set of application documents for many schools through uniassist.

You address it to the school asking for the letter, then you upload the soft copy of the letter along with your credentials on your uni assist portal. When sending your documents (hard copies) to uni assist by mail, you add the copy of the letter as well.

So simple

Sorry for uni assist applications which is better to certify at the court or a notary public.

Either ways is good for your application.

Not true. It's best to certify your documents at the embassy. You get your docs 2pm same day and its free of charge. All you need do is book an appointment via their website > under consular affairs and other matters. Select a convenient date. Gather your docs including the university online application form (duly signed and dated).

It's safer to use embassy. No stories o. Some schools are very strict on this. U can be denied admission sef. (some schools)

It only make sense certifying your documents at the embassy if you stay around Lagos and its environs. I see no sense coming all the way from Rivers state or beyond to certify your documents in Lagos when you can easily do that at a federal high court or at a notary public.

Schools I applied to during winter does not make it a complusory task that your documents must be certified at the embassy, options of a federal high court, notary public or embassy are all there, so you go for the one that is convenient. All that matters is that as long as your documents are properly certified at the required places listed by the school, you are good to go.

Good morning house......
I have a pressing question. I am new here though have been following.
I have a friend(a guy), he is 26. Due to some reasons he couldn't finish his studies here in Nigeria but now he is ready to go back to school.

So basically my question is..... as at 26 is it appropriate to apply for a BSC degree in germany and does he have a chance to be given a visa. He has the transcript of 3years in a university here and be has been working.
Thank you

He's still a young guy grin

Thanks for a swift response. Sch said German Embassy or Notary Public bt also 2 Apply via Uni-assist. Can I submit all the Docs myself 2 Uni-assist or I have 2 request 4 my sch 2 send my transcript 2 Uni-assist? I need your feedback on this Please, thanks

Look for a notary public around and notarize your required documents. More so, you will apply to uni as sit yourself and submit all required documents to them.

I will suggest you give yourself a day or two to read to details on how to go about applying to schools via uni assist and the terms and conditions that apply.

Good morning

Hello all, Please I read page 1 of this Part 5 that I could Certify my Docs @ the High Court or German Embassy but a Family member insists that since I am based in Lagos then automatically it has to be certified @ the German Embassy! Please, I want to verify how true this information is? If its true, how much does this exercise cost? & is it all my Docs including motivation letter that I need to certify? & how do I go about booking for an Interview date for result certification/attestation @ the German Embassy before Application for a school? Master's is the intended programme while deadline for submission is 15th of next month for summer 2019 of the choice school. Prompt feedback would be very appreciated! Thanks...

Not necessarily at the embassy. Besides it takes longer days to get your documents certified at the embassy. All you need to do is to follow what the school ask for.
Of asked to certify, do that at a federal high court around you, and if you are being asked to notarized your documents, do that at a notary public.
You have to read carefully on the documents the school will ask you to certify but the common documents are
1. Your degree certificate
2. O levels
3. Transcript.
4. Letter of English proficiency (if asked)
5. Professional qualifications (if any)
Just check what the school needs.

All the best.

Please can you throw more light on the NC stuff?

How do I know programs that are restricted or not?

NC courses mean there are limited number of applicants they can grant admission, that is, there is a fixed number for such program that is restricted.

Courses that are NCs will be indicated by the university's PG school, so make your enquiries very well about them.

Good evening Howse..
Please i will like to know?

* I have 2.8 GPA and wish to do my masters... Am I good to go?
* how can i get a sponsorship letter please, i heard is possible??

I can't really say what your grade would be on a German grading scale, but to be on a safer side in getting admission, try as much as possible to avoid courses that are NC( that is, courses that are restricted) and apply to those that are non restricted. That will to some extent grant you some chances.

For the sponsorship letter, you have to figure out that yourself.

Viel Glück Bruder

Gute morgen

My people, especially uni Bremen applicants, I am seeing "formally approved - your application has been formally reviewed " on my admission status. Is it a good sign or its a normal update?

It means your necessary documents for admission has been checked thoroughly, it is now left to the department to do the final shortlist.

GOODLUCK.

I will advise Global Supply Chain and Operations management. That combo make sense die!! You have much more places to work than the latter. You can even work in aviation management. So, Go for it! You will not regret. Between, what school?

I will suggest you allow this dude to make a good research on this courses, they are not as cheap as you think, not to talk of combining them together (that is if they are combined sha).

Hello House,
I'm new here. Please i need information on how i can secure admission in Germany. I have gone through the DAAD website but i'm confused about their grade calculations. I graduated with 3.73 in Marketing and i wanted to go for MBA program by September next year.

You don't have to worry about any grade calculation, you have a good grade already. All you need is to search for school and apply.

University of gottingen people pls do they accept high court certification

You have to adhere strictly to what they require of you.

If they ask you for a certified copy of your documents, then you visit a federal high court for that, but if they ask you for a notarized copy of your document, you have to visit a notary public for that. It's very simple and straight forward. Try to follow what they ask you so you don't get rejected.

Hello House, I have a National diploma which used for direct entry for university degree, and I am planing to apply for my M.sc in Germany, since my transcript will start from second year , do I need to send my ND transcript along with the B.sc transcript.....Pls I am a bit confused.

I don't think your ND transcript will be in need here, what they are in need of is your bsc transcript.
In case they ask of the ND transcript, then you have to provide it.
