Sorry for the headache, I was on transit while typing.
summary,
when will I apply for schools to avoid panicking about AD being fully booked. I applied for BSBI they are telling me time is running out for February 2020 session. I need the safer time to apply, in order to avoid rush. I am new here, I don't understand the Academic calendar. Thanks

Time is running out in what sense? When is the school's deadline?

I see some people talking about enrollment deadline, no AD and they have no time,

My question is can I apply for school in Summer session 2020 (June) now and get my AL, finalize everything before January 2020, then relax and wait for DE. Cos I detest pleasure

Kindly rephrase what you've typed, it's confusing.

Anyone here who book category B for summer and has gotten AD?

Your start date and how early you apply for an appointment date will determine your chance of getting a date early.

If you apply around November, say first week, and your start date is March, then expect your date around February

You dont understand what I am asking. I have been reading the transcript of those who went to the embassy for student visa interview and I have never seen anything about the embassy giving them maths test so I am asking if this is some kind of new development.

it differs, but i will strongly advice that any time you're going for your interview at the embassy, make sure you read very very well...i mean not just the normal questions found around here, read wide on your course of study.

as long as you've paid the necessary fee, and submitted the hard-copy of your documents, then you can go to bed.

Please house!

My FRIEND got a rejection and appealed almost immediately!!Now her extended enrollment deadline which is 14 of Nov., has passed and the embassy is still with her documents..Do you think she should withdraw her application then book another appointment (Category B) or wait for her higher semesters admission (from same school) then forward it to the embassy?

Your help is needed please

Thanks

Let her defer the admission to summer. During the waiting time, she should request for a new admission letter, cos embassy will request for a new admission letter any time they get back to her.

No need to withdraw her appeal. She should let them get back to her first...which their response will be to provide a new admission letter, hopefully.

Hello everyone , I have a degree in Architecture , but I would love to go for another bsc in agriculture. Is this possible ? Because I have to tender my first year results in Architecture

Your motivation letter will do justice to that if you will be given an admission or not.

Kindly note that you will have to convince the embassy during your interview on this new path you intend to tread.

Success

Good morning great minds. Please does anyone know how long it will take for the embassy to get back to someone who appeal his student visa rejection?
Please note reason for his rejection was that they had concerns if he did meet up with the stated enrolment deadline. However, he is already fully enrolled with his certificate and student ID card.
His worries now are how long will it take for them to get back to him because he has appealed and sent them all necessary documents to show that he already enrolled and as well a letter from his school stating that he can still come in for his studies.
He has sent embassy emails after sending the appeal they don't seem to reply.

Anyone ever experienced such should kindly tell how long it took them to get back to him or her.

Embassy request for an enrolment extension from a friend. He had a rejection earlier in October but got this message.. his concern now is that his school told him winter enrolment has closed, he was told a new admission letter with summer date will be issued to him before the end of the month.

Should he send a formal letter to embassy explaining the reason behind his deferred admission or he should just send the letter to them without to formal explanation of it?

He is in dilemma about this right now.

Interview Transcript 15/11/2019.
Booked on 26th August, AD came on 2 Sept.
Got to the embassy around 6:34 am, there were like 4 other people for student visa. I don’t know if it was Mr paulinus that attended to us but the man was very chill, even stayed with each person to direct on how to arrange our documents. Then we were checked in. I was interviewed by a Nigerian lady in room 2, she collected my docs, money etc. it’s just the basic questions that we all already know..
What course and school?
Why the course?
How is it related to your undergraduate degree?
What school did you go to for bsc?
Why Germany?
Is your program taught in English?
Why not Nigeria? Here at first she said she wasn’t convinced with my first point so I added another one and she said ok
Why not other English speaking countries?
What do you know about Germany economically and geographically?
What’s your undergraduate thesis?
Plans after the masters?
Any questions for me?
It seemed like she was in a hurry cause she always moved to the next question before I can even say more than 3points on one question, but it wasn’t a problem tho, I prepared for that and was able to move too without stopping to think. Interview was over in like 10-15 mins. Wishing everyone one waiting for AD speed in getting dates. The wait for AM begins!

Congratulations, AM. Ahead.

What was your booking category? A or B?
Travel / Re: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 7 by ajeleseujn(m): 12:56pm On Nov 16, 2019
Mikeval001:
I booked under category B but am yet to get AD

From my calculation so far, I think your start date and the date your book for an interview must have at least 2 months interval, maximum 3 months for an appointment date. also leaving at least a month and few weeks for your visa application to be processed.

That is, if your start date is, for example, March 9, and you book for an appointment date in November, there is a certainty that appointment date would fall in February ( early or so). Which means from November to February is the waiting time, 3 months.

This is just a guess work. Let's keep praying for an appointment date soon, the wait is killing some time! Summer applicants seems to be few compared to winter applicants though, hence a big chance of getting a date. Hopefully, they will reverse the booking procedure too, I mean the system, they should go back to the previous way of booking abeg, Ghana, Kenya, senega,, Egypt, even India make are back to this procedure. They should allow us hustle for date ourselves abeg

Just my guess sha with what I've read .

Maybe we shoukd let the embassy know about the date issue here, so that we won't be a victim of what the winter applicants in Category B faced.

A call through won't be a bad idea.

Has anyone spoken with the embassy via phone call on this issue lately?
