Sanwo-olu following in the footsteps of Fashola. Great. I'm looking forward to no horn day too ![]() |
I observed almost all the LASG agencies under Sanwo-olu have woken up to their responsibilities. They seem to be competing to outdo each other in terms of performance. This rice mill is one of the major projects that would turn the fortunes of Lagos state around besides the ongoing Dangote refinery. |
Madafaka:You can google it up sir. I once learnt it too |
nedekid:Okay, it is not his project, is it that of Ambodes', Fasholas' or who sir? Did any of his predecessors use their personal money for the project? What should be his yardstick for performance after 6 months in office? |
nedekid:https://twitter.com/LSPWC_Official |
faqir:Maybe age 7, and start with Scratch programming language. |
fm001:1. Yes the present government didn't initiate but isn't government no longer a continuum? Sanwo-olu has every right to commission it. 2. No, it is not a FG initiative. It was developed by the LASG courtesy of their LSSTF 3. Answered in no 1. |
biggerboyc:So Sanwo-olu should leave the projects uncommissioned and unused because Ambode started it? Or he should call Ambode to come and commission it? Please I don't understand oo |
hotwax:So roads got bad within 6 months after Ambode left? Isn't that an indictment on Ambode that he built sub-standard roads that can't last for years? What brought about the traffic again if Ambode fixed all like a magician? How do people reason sef ![]() |
nedekid:The ones LSPWC have been fixing are what? |
hotwax:Is this supposed to be a bad thing? To ensure the completion of all inherited projects? Or should he abandon Ambode's projects, and start his? |
nedekid:And so? He should abandon it? Or how do you reason sef? |
Patrioticman007:I've met a few of them. There's even a mosque where they congregate |
Sirjamo:There are yorubas in unn, even lecturers. I am one |
sweetonugbu: ![]() |
Gforce2015:Lol paymaster? Very stale, you could do better |
Gforce2015:Please follow @lagospublicworks on social media and stop spitting barefaced lies here. It's so very easy for you guys to criticize but difficult to reasearch about developmental projects going on and keep yourself informed. Maybe they haven't got to your area but don't say they're doing nothing, come on! |
To those attacking Sanwo-olu about the little celebration of this, this is what Hamzat his deputy had to say: We mark milestones because they are evidence that we are making progress. Today we took another step towards delivering the blue line rail project with the completion of the Continuous Beam Bridge for the C Crossing at Marina, Lagos. https://twitter.com/drobafemihamzat And I totally agree with the bolded. It is a milestone they're celebrating here and an opportunity to let you all know the progress is right on track and also inform you all of other developments in the state transport sector. Please cut them some slack |
Wickedtruths:You are truly wicked ![]() I have noticed some bloggers who shone during the era of Ambode are now very critical of Sanwo-olu. There's one popular one here too who won't mention but let's watch and see if they'll change and instead support every government of Lagos instead of being biased with their reportage. |
naptu2:Here is it sir,
I like the fact JAGs uploads videos too instead of just images. Imagine if there was no video, we'd have believed that incomplete report on the RED Line. I like his own SSA style. |
naptu2, I don't think that report on the Red line is entirely correct. From a video I watched on Mr_JAGS status, Oladeinde said while they will use the same rail corridor being built by the FG for the red line which has just 3/4 stations, the LASG will build the remaining stations for the red line and connect to FG's rail corridor. I am frantically looking for the video, the man has a lot of tweets on his TL |
Venerable612:No, his greatest undoing was deviating from the state's master plan and discontinuing some of the governance structure he met on ground. |
NGpatriot:Though to be fair to Ambode, he didnt entirely abandon the project but he was slow with it. But If he had committed and channeled the same energy and cash he was using to complete his Oshodi transport interchange to the rail project, it'd have long been completed. In fact, during his tenure, we heard no mention of the four other rail lines routes. I hope we don't witness another Ambode era in Lagos. There was little or no spirit of continuity with his government. |
Imagine if Sanwo-olu is able to pull off the successful construction of the other 4 rail lines routes. That would be massively massive I am already seeing a greater Lagos under Sanwoolu/Hamzat |
Lagos Blue Rail Line starts operation in 2021 as Governor @jidesanwoolu kicks off final work on project Governor: ‘Four additional rail projects, eight bus corridors to start’ The integrated mass transportation initiative of the Lagos State Government has recorded a huge progress with the successful completion of an elevated sea-crossing track of the Lagos Blue Line Rail Mass Transit project. Governor today led members of the State Executive Council to inspect the five-kilometre long Continuous Beam Bridge constructed from Iganmu to Marina, which is part of the fourth phase of the Blue Line Rail project. Governor @jidesanwoolu said the completion of the sea-crossing track indicated his administration’s commitment towards completing the State-funded rail project started in 2009. “The completion of this project is TOP priority for our administration, as it is critical to the achievement of our prioritised pillar of traffic management and transportation in our 6-point development agenda, known as project THEMES” - Gov @jidesanwoolu “The aim of this rail project is basically to reduce travel time thru an effective & efficient intermodal transport system. It is also key to the building of a 21st century economy which is central to the vision of a Greater Lagos aspiration” “We are committed to delivering this project next year and ensuring its operation starts in 2021.” - Governor @jidesanwoolu The construction of the Blue Line rail tracks, Governor @jidesanwoolu noted, was being implemented in strict adherence to the State’s Strategic Transport Master Plan, which prescribes 6 rail lines & one monorail for the long-term strategic goals of the State. Governor @jidesanwoolu disclosed that his administration would be starting the construction of the Red Line rail project from Agbado to Marina, pointing out that advertisement had been published in the media to woo investors for the construction of four other rail lines under a Design, Build, Operate, Maintain and Transfer model of Public-Private-Partnership arrangement. According to the Governor @jidesanwoolu, the advertised rail projects include the 68-kilometre Green Line, 60-kilometre Purple Line, 34-kilometre Yellow Line and 48-kilometre Orange Line. GREEN LINE: From Marina through Victoria Island, Lekki Phases 1 and 2, Ajah, Ogombo, Lekki Airport to Lekki Free Trade Zone. PURPLE LINE: To start from the Redemption Camp going through Ogba, Iyana Ipaja, Igando and terminating at Ojo. YELLOW LINE: From Otta through Isheri Osun, Ejigbo Mafoluku, Isolo to national Theatre. ORANGE LINE: From Ikeja coursing through Mile 12, Ikorodu, Alapadi, Eligana, Isiwu, Imota and terminating at Agbowa. “The Government will also start the construction of eight quality bus corridors in strategic areas of Lagos” “These bus corridors is our government’s initiative aimed at giving dedicated road space and traffic signal priority to mass transit buses in order to reduce journey times and improve service consistency” “The aim of the initiative is to encourage people to change from cars to buses and thus reducing traffic congestion” “We are opening up new transport corridors to organised transport operators for seamless transport connectivity, reduce congestion and truly make our state competitive” Governor @jidesanwoolu congratulated the Lagos Metropolitan Area Transport Authority (LAMATA) and the contractor, China Civil Engineering Construction Company (CCECC) for the progress, urging them to complete the Blue Line rail project on record time. https://twitter.com/Mr_JAGs/status/1206979657062658048 |
OP, I would advise you not to learn Angular/AngularJS. You're better off with VueJS and maybe React. |

If she thought she was meeting Isaac Newton really cracked me up ![]() |

Brownhypo:That was what happened to me too. Her parents kept reminding her that they won't allow her to marry someone that is not an Igbo person. Her mom even got in touch with me telling me that she likes me and I am good bla bla but she wished I was an Igbo guy. At the end of the day, ex had to do the wish of her parents. If your bae is the type that loves her parents and can sacrifice anything just to please her parents and make them happy (like my ex did), then it's just a matter of time before she leaves. My ex told me several things like she'd never leave, we'd elope if they keep insisting, i should impregnate her when the time comes and they keep rejecting me etc etc etc, at the end of the day, she's now with another Igbo guy. It's such a difficult situation to be in bro, but I wish you the best. But just prepare for the possibility she'll leave someday |
Brownhypo:Sorry bro, she'll end up leaving except she really really is into you |
The man also flagged off major construction works in Ikorodu today. AutoReportNG do the needful |
