dane15: Please does anyone have a similar experience? They need PROOF of funds and not a letter. A letter proves nothing as the writer can renege on his promises. The funds must be readily available to you...your cousin's funds are not readily available. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/funds.asp What we accept as proof Funds must be readily available to you. For example, you can't use equity on real property as proof of settlement funds. The funds must be available both when you apply and when (if) we issue you a permanent resident visa. You must prove to an immigration officer that you can legally access them to use to settle here when you arrive. For proof, you must get official letters from any banks or financial institutions where you are keeping money. Letter(s) must: •be printed on the financial institution’s letterhead •include their contact information (address, telephone number and email address) •include your name •list outstanding debts such as credit card debts and loans •include, for each current bank and investment account: ◦account numbers ◦the date each account was opened ◦the current balance of each account ◦the average balance for the past six months |

Dave4eva: Guys, Please can someone give a guide here? I believe others will learn too. On selling a property say land / house and suddenly having a lump amount (proceeds from the property sale) lodged into one’s account for less than two months. Suddenly getting an ITA, what documents does one need to tender to show that these funds were not borrowed but accruing from owner’s property sale. Would this raise some red flags since balance isn’t up to 6 months as required and also is a lump sum lodgement? Please all your advices and ideas are urgently sought. Thanks everyone in anticipation. Could be any or all of these 1. Docs for the property (either C of O,Deed of Assignment, Survey plan Red copy etc) 2. Valuation 3. Agreement from a Lawyer 4. Sales Receipt etc |

And you think NIRSAL is Private too... stop talking about what you don't know |

obinwannechukwu: Sorry boss, its an oversight. I wrote the IELTS in Enugu. How do I go about it? I do not have the TRF yet. Go to BC Center in Enugu (I presume you wrote it there) with your draft of 15K addressed to them. Fill the forms there and they will tell you all you need to know/do. |

obinwannechukwu: Hello, fellow hopefuls, I am new here. I need guidance, please. I wrote the September 9th BC IELTS and scored L 7.5, R7.5, W7.0, S7.5. I want to request for a remark from the Abuja center, but I do not reside in Abuja. I understand that I have to raise a draft of 15k in favor of British council. My questions are; 1. Do I raise the draft from any particular bank?. Any Bank will do. 2. Can I download the "Enquiry on Results form", fill out the form and send through speed post to BC Abuja or must it be done manually and submitted in person?. Not sure about this and not advisable infact. what if your TRF gets missing in transit. 3. Will is still pay 15k if I want to contest more than one part of the result? 15k covers all four. You can choose some or all of LRWS and you will get a refund if at least one is upgraded.
The big question is:Did you write it in Abuja,or why are you particular about ABJ?. |

agates: 431 without my spouse writing IELTS or doing his ECA. if i had a 7.5 or 8 in writing my score would have been 434. So hoping my spouse gets high scores too, we both have masters but i am younger so will be the primary applicant With your spouse's IELTS and ECA you should be fine (even now as it is, you are fine but might need to wait to see if scores drop further). |

cochtrane: Lol. Okay calm down, bro. You know candidates lie on the real test, right? In speaking and in writing, in order to score better? Truth is, there's nothing binding any candidate from telling the truth to IELTS. Not when you register, not when you take the test. As long as you can prove on the exam day that you are the one on your ID with which you register. Read their terms and conditions.
I don't think you should generalize attitude towards CIC to IELTS. Just my opinion. Bro, "When you are in the hole, stop digging". You are comparing exam conditions to a simple question of "what purpose is this IELTS for"?. LOL @Bolded ========================================================================================= IELTS Application: Terms and Conditions IELTS TERMS & CONDITIONS AND LEGAL NOTICES Declaration I acknowledge that the IELTS test is jointly owned by British Council, IDP: IELTS Australia and Cambridge English Language Assessment, collectively referred to as the IELTS Test Partners. CSE- Case Specific Enquiry
IP1 IP2 NA2
Thanks, I am new in this journey. See info below (BGC - is Background Check) Stages in Canadian PR journey 1st the profile 2nd is ITA 3rd is AOR 4th medicals 5th background 6th ppr 7th COPR 8th landing 9th pr card ======================= These are 3 different stages that majority of the PR applicants in EE will see against Background check in My CIC. IP1 -------- IP1 will be shown when we pass the medical. Some people get this update on the same day along with their medical and some of them couple of days after. CIC agents will do R10, criminality checks during this stage. Once they feel everything is good then they will change it to NA. These things will happen at CIO Office (Centralized Intake Office) NA --------- This stage, our file will be transferred to CPC (Case processing Center) where agents will do eligibility assessments. If they feel everything is okay, then they will provide their recommendation to Visa Officer and same time they will initiate Security Checks. IP2 -------- This status will be seen in my CIC account once Visa Officer starts reviewing or after reviewing all agents recommendations. On the same day PPR request will be triggered if the applicant paid RPRF upfront. These things will be done at CPC office. It is not necessary that every applicant will undergo this process. But majority of the cases, I have noticed the same status |

boldinc: I really marvel at how you just spoke... EVERYONE here's sole purpose for writing IELTS is for Immigration, hence the reason you are even on this thread... But you can prove me otherwise by telling me just ONE other reason you are registering for IELTS (General Training).
We all preach 'say the truth as it is' and even talk down on people with regards to this, yet some still wanna manipulate... Hoping BC will not be stingy with scores if they do not mention the real reason they need the results (to boost your scores for CIC). If there's really no impact on your score like you say... Why LIE or CONSIDER it? When registering for ECA, I'm very positive you selected Immigration... No?
Anyway... the choice is yours and that was only my opinion. Its a case of Mirror Mirror. 1000 likes for this post. |

I don't see any reason why you can't use it really. So long as it's clearly stated that the funds will be available to you within 4 months. Nice One Yimiton, I would (on behalf of people still looking for ITA) want to ask you to request for your GCMS so we can see how CIC commented on the use of 25% pension fund. This would be a guide to future applicants who would like to use same. Na beg I dey beg on their behalf o. |
