Quote from: Kobojunkie on June 12, 2010, 04:37 AM I am definitely not a fan of Okada . . . I think they are a nuisance, and I would vote for a ban any day. Same way I feel about generators. Lagos never really needed Okada back in the days. About 12 years ago, there were barely any Okada men in Lagos. BUT you are right about the unemployment issue which in my opinion is a bigger problem that needs to be tackled and NOW. Yes, I believe Okada is evil but continuing to cut the main sources of livelihood for the poor in our society is not, in my opinion, a sensible way to development. This is exactly my point. there are times that i had hint them myself while driving but the question is "is it right to ban them now" ? is like telling somebody not to cross the road while you have not provide the alternative (overheadbridge) for him or her to cross to the other end of the road. If they should be ban, what would they be doing to feed their family? are we not inviting more arm robbers to our society again? Let the govt provide alternative b4 thinking of taken them off the road or not. |
meggieblac, hope they will also provide maternity cabs for them. It's an ok move but cant they just simply ban all bikes? Have you and your govt provided another means of livelihhood for them? |
hmmmm! the same compalin year in year |
Paying tithe is not force and will never be force on anybody as some pple put it here atleast no pastor or GO will put his/her hand in your pocket to bring out money.Fine some pastor might be good orator or something but it now depend on how flexible, knowledgeable you are with your God. Pls stop making excuses for yourself act as the spirit lead. |
Who are the devilish people here?; the 2 year old money hungry baby or Lagos state? Can you pls explain wot u mean by that? |
This report did not even state why he wanted to divorce his wife in the first place cause i believe u can only divorce your wife base on infidelity so he wanted to play the fast one b4 his wife. He should be ashame of himself. So he want to eat his cake and still have it, Nijer men no get shame at all but i pity the woman because she might not get a favourable judgement, this is Nijer where every law concerning marriage only favour the men. shior! That is y whe u some ladies/women/hsewife playing a fast one on thier husband you think they're desperate but they know what they're doing 'Eyan kan kole wa sin ori olori" throughout the days of her life. |
@Ayo84, is this strictly for face or can b apply to d whole body, i mean from neck downward. |
Cvibe, @ Poster, best to think of starting out on your own. Can u pls advise him on how to save from the miserable N25k to start his own business |
afrobabay, This topic is really pathetic and it is not new in the country @poster, I want you to understand that there are three categories of people responding to your post Those that are not employed: They are thinking in their mind that , what is wrong with this guy, he has one that is already fetching him money and yet he is complaining, let him leave the job jare so I can get the job, forgetting the fact that , the cane that was used to flog the first wife is just under the bed to flog the new wife Those that earn more than #100000 per month: They feel too big and doesnt want anybody to be as rich as they are, they only want to be the rich guys and nothing moe, whatever u think, go to hell, we own the town, we are the big people[li] Those that earn the same amount or similar to the one u are earning: The fact is,these people are wicked,, they shud not go unpurnished[li] But lets be real, I first got a job for #25,000 at sunplast but refused it, why , cos I have sisters and brothers taking care of my needs, not all of us have that opportunity to be financed by siblings, so if u are saying he shud resign, first think of reasons he took the job BEFORE U WRITE ANYTHING AGAIN, PUT URSELF IN THE POSTER'S SHOE AND ASK URSELF, WILL I BE HAPPY IF AM THE POSTER God bless ur soul |
