No, the 8 yrs limit does not apply to Vans and Trucks. Sincerely speaking, Trucks are more profitable than cars and they move rather quickly. Look for Ford, Chevy, Nissan, Toyota, Mazda etc. No matter how old the Truck is, you will still sell it in Nigeria because people consider Trucks and Vans investment asset.

You can not. You can try but it will cost you a lot of money and still may not find out. Your best bet is don't buy it if you have suspicions.

I am in need of getting the same thing done and your help is really needed. I have a small pickup that I will like to register in Lagos or Ogun state. Do you have any idea on the cost? Also any idea on the cost of a driver's license in any of the two states mentioned above.

We are not bypassing water professionals at all, what we are simply doing is have people share their experience on the topic. People who have had
similar project done can share their experience in terms of price, cost, location and anything else they will like to share. Why are you so call professionals always get nervous on nairaland when people are trying to share their knowledge on various things.

If it is one plot, be expected to pay between 500,000 and 600,000 naira.

Giving that you already owned the land, it shouldn't cost more than 2.5 to 3millions. But it also depends. You can read more on "thirdeye" articles on this same topic on the previous page.

If this is a 1/2 plot land, then it could be hard to fit all this requirements in. You may not have room for things like parking, suckaway, borehole or even landscape. I'm sure it can be done.

I'm in the process of building my home and I need an idea on I much it will cost for the building plan/design plus the building permit  I will like to have a one storey building with one car garrage, two bedrooms on the ground level including the guest room plus a laundry room. Three bedrooms on the first floor with a family room.  At least one bathroom on the ground floor and two on the first floor. This is a plot of land in Okun Ajah with 120' x 60' size. I will appreciate any constructive feedback for anyone with such experience. Any architech in the house ?
