I'm interested in this area (Okun Ajah) but before I can look at it, my budget is around 1.5 - 1.8 mil. |
I don't think they'll know wether the house is half complete or not. Just present your plan to the housing authority and pay your fee and you should be OK. If they do find out then just do as you said. (ejunge) |
@plappville You are well come and take it easy. |
What is magun? do you mean magnum |
What is UK perkins? Do you mean perkins generator? |
six month to one year if you are lucky. |
I will need your help and will get in touch we you soon. |
@styrax, I'm almost there but not quite. I got the volume, Density and the Mass calculations but how do you apply this in a real world situation. Let's say you are buying a 20 Tons of granite from Baba Oyo and the lorry has just arrived. Take me through this. Thanks. |
Yes, I definitely smell fish and I will want you to stay clear of this deal. As for helping you to secure a land in that area, sorry I'm not from delta state so I couldn't really help in that regard. I might be able to help if you are interested in Lagos island. |
you are very welcome. |
I am very interested, can you post pictures for the property ? |
How big is your tipper and can you deliver to Ajah area, |
@jamesdpath, are there differences between the 10, 20, 25 and the 30tons lorry, and if there are, how can you tell. And before the tipper is offload, is there a way to verify you are getting what you paid for? @wellbusyy, Take a walk and don't threaten any body here. |
I think it will take several years for Okun ajah to develop but Mayfair Gardens will be the place to buy at this moment because of the people behind it. Okun ajah is not well managed or coordinated at the moment plus the omo onile there are notorious and aggressive. |
Oti de ooo, Iwo omo ato un rinwa yi, O need lati ma d'obo constantly kole ma relax, nitori wipe oti waste time e ni abroad and now owa'n try lati catch up. But Ogbodo humble ara re because awon agba ni pa owe wipe omo to ba fe mose ogbodo ni iteriba fun oga re. |
Alternatively, you can do this: B = (P/L) * R which interpret to B = (866.141 inches/18) * 4 where B = # of Blocks P = Perimeter of the building: 866.141 inches (convert 2200cm to inches) L = Length of the block: 18 inches (convert 46cm to inches) R = # of layers or coaches (In this case 4) Always allow 5% for excess or waste just in case. |
Yeah man, like design5 said, we need to know the size and the dimension of this house. But having said that, if you can get a break down of the cost and how he arrive at the1.9m total cost, we can help you analyze it and see where you are being rip off. Alternatively, you can either go with slate roofing which is less expensive or redesign the roof layout for a lower slope configuration. |
In that case you give price range, not the exact price. E.G between (2m - 3m) |
@jungle007, Provide us with your price on sharp sand also. Same location (Ajah) |
wana yaro aboki mutefi dollar rate ? |
That's a plot and 700k is not too bad if the location is developed and have all the infra structure in place. In Lagos a plot is 60/120. In any case, find out the full cost of the land plus any the legal fee involved plus agbero fee and all that. Good luck. |
@poster, It depend on the size of this house and what type of roofing materials you are using. Klas has explained it better. Aluminium sheet will always cost more because it's good and very durable. You can still negotiate hard on his labor and have him give you a break down for all the materials that he will be using. Good luck. |
@thirdeye You must quickly fix this hosting/domain issue affecting your website. This has slowed down productivity on my path. Let us know how we can assist. |
Pls. post pic. This will be a good investment opportunity. |
550k is very high for a plot of land in the village. Especially since the area is not developed yet. For the same price, I will purchase the one in asaba. But be very careful because since you are abroad, All these so call friends of yours thinks you have money and will do anything to exploit it from you. If you are from USIEFFRUN village and like to live there, take time and go home, then go with your people and talk to the Igwe (Chief) about your interest in owning a piece of land to build your house. You'll be supprise how cheap you will get the land. What ever you do, be very carefull and be 100% involved. Good luck, Plappville. |
@Larez, I can't help but ask myself "why do we need houses with chimneys and fireplace in nigeria hot climate" Please modify these designs to fit nigeria style and taste. These designs works well in Europe and North America but definitely not in our country. |
