Putin has ruled for 24years yen yen! Who is asking Putin to come and rule any country in Africa? That's how you people have been so twisted by Western propaganda that your mind has literally been fine-tuned to believe that "alliances" come in the form of "being ruled", because that's basically what the West has been doing by proxy, ruling our democracy through greedy politicians.
An alliance is a working understanding with a partner. Africa is big enough to form an alliance with Russia or China where we'll function as partners with mutual respect and not being subdued while our resources are stolen from under our noses. Rants! |

I'll be lying if I claim to be displeased with this Niger coup. Africa has been tied down for way too long. Decades after independence, we still live like a people still under the thumbs of Colonialists.
Much as I'm not a church fanatic, I'm pretty certain God wasn't just cruising when he declared that "since time immemorial, his children suffereth violence and oppression, and it is only the violent ones that will take their freedom by force".. If you don't know, the military is not the solution to misrule in Africa! The worst civilian rule is better than the best military rule! I cannot support Putin, I dont trust that guy! Putin has ruled for 24 years in Russia! Is that your model? Please, stop this nonsense! You are not suffering yet, honestly! |

Many Nigerians are of the opinion that the current hardship was thrown upon them by the economic policies of PBAT! Now, many people are bitter that the subsidy was removed and the FX was unified! That government should have provided palliatives!
The majority of us in Africa are very lazy, unwilling, larceneous and wicked! We want to reap where we have not sown! We want to eat our cake and still have it! How possible is that? The new policies of PBAT is supposed to make us rich. Deregulation of the oil and energy sector should provoke a radical growth of the economy.
Insecurity in the South East and the North were caused by their own people! They know their children and shielded them! When Sunday Igboho started his Yoruba agenda in the South West, he was cautioned immediately by the the Yoruba elders.
There have been suffering from the days of our fore fathers! NO WHERE IN THE ENTIRE WORLD IS EASY!
We the poor people should work hard! I accept all the blames of me being poor! I will work hard to meet my standard of living!

emkz: The decision by Nigeria's President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to remove the very popular but expensively scandalous fuel subsidies has reduced the demand for petrol in the West African country and also removed incentives for smugglers. Nigeria had been a popular destination for refined fuel from the EU, and with the current development, the EU refiners need to look elsewhere to break even.

Not necessarily by smuggling, cheating or killing but by joining those who know the way! I used to fight for the poor, but no more! I fight for myself and children! Same with all politicians! PatEinstEin: Most Nigerians especially Igbos see the idea of moving back to their hometown as a defeat. If the City (for instance Lagos) becomes very difficult, I don't see anything wrong in relocating. There are people there afterall.
What are your thoughts on this? Back then in the early 80s, I lost a few of my uncles after they relocated to the village due to ill health. My father after his retirement in 1999 never went to the village. He stayed back in the city! Today, my father is 87 years because he never joked with his doctors' appointments. Healthwise, village life in Nigeria is not ideal. However, if u have good medical infrastructure in the village, why not? For me, I served in a village called Orokam in Benue State. Honestly, I enjoyed the village life as a corper. The serenity, greeness, market days, fresh idoma girls tying wrappers with their singlets with no bra on were good views! |
