What did Buhari mess up? Can you list them here?

ImperialYoruba:
@OP,
Thank youfor highlighting the points clearly. I hope this thread circulates across Yorubaland and as well every region to awaken Nigerians to the reality and the steps ahead.

You said above that going by the volume of hatred from a weakened Ibo to Yoruba in their daily utterances, it is not hard to imagine what they would do to us when power is in their hands. I continue to campaign daily that Obi does not wish Yoruba well and particularly he will change the fortune of Lagos if he ever becomes a President of this country. Under Azikiwe, commanding the powers of President, he usurped authorities in Yorubaland, then clipped our wings by throwing Awo in jail. Yoruba wrote all kind of articles and analysis, but what effect does newspaper article have against bullets and bayonets of the federal might? None.

Obi will rig an Ibo Governor into Lagos and possibly another Yoruba state to demonstrate Ibo is supreme and then transfer an everlasting political supremacy to be controlled by Ibo into the forseeable future of Lagos. Any Yoruba traditional power or politician that so much as say Ah will find himself in Abuja on trounced up charges of planning Nigerian destabilization. Ibo has watched Fulani treat us any kind of way and our weakness at retaliation or opposition. They will do us same way, our response is predictive, articles, blogs, shouts, street protest...that's it, nothing meaningful. They also know we do not die with our heroes. If someone stood up to be our voice, they will pick him up, and thats it our noise will fade away. That's the end of that.

So our emotions because Tinubu did not support us against Fulani, or support youths during Endsars, or his VP is Muslim are all child's play when compared to the imminent atrocities and suffering of our people and Yorubaland under an Ibo president. Our people need to wake up and be told what could happen to them under Obi, rathern than their misplaced priority and diversion of a Muslim-Muslim ticket in Tinubu. Tinubu is just one person behaving badly in his fatherland, Yoruba, but with Obi there will be millions of ibos behaving badly in our fatherland Yoruba.

You referenced marginalization of Yoruba under GEJ, who were the people in Jonathan's ears during his administration? It was three people - Madueke, Iweala and Obi, all Ibos. Obasanjo was responsible for the inclusion of Ibos in government - Iweala, Soludo, Ihekirija, and many Ibos. Ibos were responsible for Yoruba marginalization under Jonathan. Remember that till today they are still bitter that we, not North, kicked GEJ out, and they have succeeded in equating Jonathan government as a Christian throne and Jonathan himself as a Knight fighting Christian cause. So they are now preaching to Yoruba using christianity as a divide to separate us. As one we are indivisible and powerful force, but as christian and muslim they can buy alliance of Yoruba christians to defeat Tinubu, who they label Yoruba muslim and anti-Jonathan (the Christian Knight). Do you see the connection? Many Yoruba have now been converted to see Tinubu as anti-christian. Obi is promoted as pro-christian and successor to the seat vacated by Jonathan, the Christian Knight. Anyone Yoruba who is opposed to Obi is therefore condemned as anti-christian and Yoruba christians are indulged to distance from them. We must teach our own brothers that when Nzeogu entered Ademulegun' s room in Kaduna, January 66, and gunned down husband and pregnant wife he did not see them as fellow christians, he regarded them as Yoruba. When Ibo knocked on Akintola's door and killed him they saw Yoruba, not christian. When Azikiwe theew Awolowo in prison, he was dealing with a Yoruba, his christiany did not matter. When Ibos told Kumuyi they will kill him if he stepped foot in SE, they knew him to be christian and they don't care. Ibo is cunning, when Obi urged Jonathan to marginalize Yoruba the Yoruba Elders upfront negotiating with Jonathan were christians, prominent in that force were Pa Adebanjo, Pa Fasoranti, Pa Falae. All christians. Why didn't Obi whisper in Jonathan's ears these are Yoruba Christians, let's give what they want?

Yoruba must desist from supporting Obi. Line behind Tinubu, his atrocities against Yoruba is tiny and he is just one person. Obi is backed by millions of atrocities already occupying Yorubaland just waiting to activate.

Yoruba wake up! You are not christian or muslim, you are Yoruba and a force to be reckoned with.

This is you few days ago.

You also hate the SW people and hiding under Arrewa to profess your hate. I don’t even know why you dey beef with people that don’t know you exist tho. Most Yoruba just categorize everyone from the North as Hausa, so don’t feel too important like they even know you exist.

I now see why that Northern region can never have peace.

It is a conglomerate of psychologically damaged people who are chronic religious bigots. If the Christians there are the majority, they’ll probably just wipe off their Muslims there too and Vice Versa.

This particular dunce claiming Yoruba never fought for minorities forgot their alliance of Awo and the Northern minorities back in the days. What did you lot paid him back with?

With my little interaction with Northern christians, this is largely correct. It's a crazy world up there.

I swear Yorubas are totally ignorant of hate going on in this country.

While folks are even focussing on what is currently happening, my happiness is based on what Wike's action portends for PDP post 2023. And by PDP I mean the current PDP and the current LP supporters who we all know are returning back to licking PDP's butt after Obi is beaten blue black at the polls.

Obi himself will burn out as fast as a tiny little meteor that struck the earth's atmosphere.

That is my excitement. It'd be double tragedy for our noisy neighbors.

Vawulent comrade.

I have always asked this question, nobody seems to have an answer. They should just market him as Ibo and christian candidate.

Somebody governed a state for eight years, no records of achievements, no legacy projects, nothing, nada, zilch.
Yet they are marketing him as the best since slice bread.

I remember in 2015 when Igbos took the fall for not voting for Buhari, it's not as if it was only Igbos that didn't vote for him..... Other tribes including majority of the South South and minority in the SW and other regions.

But it was only Igbos that was singled out for ridicule, all forms of derogatory words were used on them, at the end of the day, Buhari turned out to be a disaster...... Those same people never came out openly to issue apologies for their poor choice plus insults on a major tribe.

Now most of them doubled down and have taken Tinubu's side as usual.... The only reason most of them are supporting Tinubu is because he's Yoruba, and not like they feel he's healthy or capable enough to pilot a very complex country like Nigeria.

It's almost 2 months since the APC presidential primaries and he hasn't even sat for an interview as to how he plans on handling the numerous issues Nigerians face today...... But his supporters don't care, they are playing the same script they played and installed Buhari.

By the time we get it wrong this time, maybe fuel would have reached 1000/litre and the security situation would so worsen that it will become almost impossible to go anywhere without being kidnapped or robbed.

May God help you guys when that time comes.

Not to worry, the Yorubas supporting Obi are the social media people. They won't amount to much. They can create some buss in Lagos and that's all. Another thing, majority of them are those angry that Tinubu didn't put Osinbajo forward. I expect they would have overcome the anger before February next year.

Oyetola destroyed Osun APC, history will never be kind with him

With due respect, I think you people are short-sighted.

Let us even agree, for argument sake, that Oyetola did badly, you cannot because of a Tinubu contesting to be president overlook and work for the party. Aregbesola, two-term commissioner in Lagos, two-term governor, now minister, prefers the party goes down because he cannot have his way for the first time. So Tinubu that has been working all this while, spending his resources, without holding any position, is a mad man abi? Ti a ko ba titori epo je isu, a maa titori isu je epo.

I do not blame people like Aregbesola and his likes anymore, Tinubu has carried them on his back too much for too long. They have been placed far above their pay grade. They no longer have sense of their true position in the scheme of things.

You people will be faced with reality like those Oyo APC people that did antiparty. You will want to cry, but tears will not come.

Enjoy your wilderness.
