Please I need advice. I still have my Canada study permit application running but I will like to explore other countries also. I've been on this journey for almost 3 years now but I don't want to rely on Canada only. Please kindly advise other countries I can explore while I am waiting for a decision. Thank you. |

Oreoluwamipo: My Application just got refused. Thank you everyone , I'm writing this in tears , why do I always get rejected ? How do I break this news to my mom after everything? Alhamdulilah. I do not deserve this , but Alhamdulilah. I didn't even add that anyone was accompanying me. I'm really sorry you had to go through this feeling. It isn't easy but please take heart. I was also refused but I've since reapplied. I usually see how you rejoice with others and Insha Allah very soon we will rejoice with you too. |

Chipo14: So after 6 months and 5 days my wait finally ended with a PPR.
I got the correspondence letter yesterday and wanted to rush to post it only to see people getting correspondence letters and still getting refused. So I calmed down to see the final decision.
I got the mail exactly 6:22 am and I froze. It came with mixed feelings because my school has withdraw me from the program and my tuition deposit of $2000 cad forfeited. It would have been refunded if I got refused. Congratulations . You can reach out to the school maybe they can work out something for you. |

[quote author=Shefunmih post=104846402]PPR alerts You guys will have to forgive me I am sending this late. My PPR came out on August 10th, 2021 after one year. I applied for my study permit on August 9, 2020. On Dec 19th the embassy sent a mail requesting me to write IELTS and submit before 30days, which I did. Dec 19th was the last time I heard from them up until July 22nd, 2021, where I was told to submit my medicals. The miracle that happened is this. I did my medical Congratulations on your approval. Please are you attending University of Lethbridge (Lethbridge or Calgary campus). |

MadeMan01: I am on same shoes with you. I however researched online to discover leaders of Italy, Canada and Germany combined vaccine Astra Zeneca Oxford and Moderna.
I hope one can combine here, even though the govt said they don't advise that, or New batch of Astra Zeneca come soon I also made a research on this last week when I was meant to receive my second dose. It is even better to receive 1 dose of astrazeneca and moderna than two doses of astrazeneca. The only problem will be whether Canada accepts it has fully vaccinated. https://healthydebate.ca/2021/06/topic/astrazeneca-covid-vaccination-guide/ |

lightswitch007: Read Note 2 in your GCMS notes and you'll see concrete reasons for refusal. Applicant is 19yrs, 1. The study plan does not appear reasonable given the applicant’s employment and education history. Question: What did you study in the University and is it aligned with the proposed program you’re applying for in Canada? 2. The VO is not satisfied that the applicant would leave Canada because his single, mobile, not well established, and has no dependents. Question: did you explain in detail your ties to Nigeria or attach any document like properties and so on. 1. I'm 19 and just left high school 2019 therefore no previous undergraduate. I did all science related courses in school and I've been attending a computer science which I just finished. 2. There was a problem because my agent did not fill in my siblings in my family form, I don't know how that happened. |

Backcheck: 1. Check again, there is a section to fill in your siblings on that form.
2. Just like me, I have an elder sister in Canada, and another in the UK. I stated them both clearly, I was still approved. Infact, my school is a stone throw from the address of sister in Canada.
3. You can include their International passport in your client information. Congratulations. I've checked the family form my agent used and the brother/sisters section wasn't there. When I'm reapplying I will make sure I check and confirm everything myself. Thank you for your contributions. |

Lamideyy: 1. There is an IMM form ( family information form) -I can’t remember what IMM it is- for that purpose. It should be among the required forms on your application portal. I am not too sure if you can fill up to 7 siblings. You prove your home ties not on the form but by a solid explanation in your SOP ( how they truly serve as home ties for you) as well as evidence to back up your story. Maybe family pictures and the likes. All this would be in your client information
2. Omo I no know oo. Your sibling in Canada might give an impression that you are trying to abscond at the same time it could show their financial independence( if your parents are your sponsors)… Ask the gurus for more guidance
3. it is advisable to show proof if you mentioned anyone as your sibling. Birth certificates, intl passport, drivers license and the likes would work. You are to include in your client information.
My 2kobo Thank you sir . |

Dabricious: LONG POST ALERT:
Good morning my people, I've come to share my timeline to encourage others just the same way I was encouraged with other people's timeline. God's time is truly the best.
Timeline 1st application: 30th August 2020 Biometrics:2nd September 2020 Refusal letter: 11th September 2020 I had 4 reasons for refusal - purpose of visit - limited employment prospects in my country -my current employment situation -personal assets and financial assets. The decision was made from their China office.
At that time I didn't know what gcms notes were and I wasn't active on nairaland so I just decided I will re-apply.
2nd application-23rd of February NSE request:16th March Submitted Mybankstatement(Submitted my own and my brother's company account statement) on the 29th March and also wrote to them to go through the normal route because I didn't have ielts (i had but my writing score was 5.5) upfront medical : 29th of April Medical passed: 19th April All these while my profile was still on background check. I became active on nairaland towards the end of May and I started reading other people's testimony/experiences and I started wondering when me too I will share my own good news. Before now, I could stay for 2 weeks without checking my profile but when I became active here, I started checking twice a day. I didn't even know what ghost update meant and had never taken note of it until I read about it here and started looking out for it. 1st ghost update: 7th June 2nd ghost update: 9th June Checked my profile and noticed they just updated that eligibility review has started Bvl: 10th June 8:38am Ppr : 10th June 8:42am I just fell on the floor and started thanking this faithful God. Mine is a testimony because its a switch from my first degree 1st degree was computer science, then I gained admission in George Brown College to study Culinary Management. Since after my service year in 2015, I've been actively doing catering business. I did a short diploma course with red dish culinary school in Lagos and have a certificate from it so I added it in my application. My elder brother is my main sponsor but used his company account to sponsor me, my elder sister also wrote a letter saying she will be supporting me financially and she put her offer letter and pay slips. I also showed about 4.6m in my account. Also, for more than 2 years, my brother's company has been paying me monthly because I cater for their lunch so this also helped as I indicated it as salary.
I put in a lot my brother's company documents even existing contracts they have with some Inc's. I also submitted an Affidavit of support from the company.
I'm just so grateful to God because its not of him who Wills, nor of him who runs but of God who shows Mercy. Thank you to everyone here who kept our hopes alive by sharing their own testimonies, you don't know how seeing good news here helped me believe mine will soon come.
For everyone waiting for their good news, it will soon come In Jesus Name.
On a lighter note: I dey find cheap ticket now oh Congratulations. |

EmeeNaka: This looks like my application except that your is undergraduate studies which gets more approval. Are you above 30years? Did you submit your own bank statement? I'm 19. It's even the personal assets that is shocking because how do you expect a 19 year to own properties. |
