Anyone in this situation? AkeemTy: |
Just want to know anyone who is in the same situation as me. I applied to Holland College, Prince Edward Island and was granted admission for plumbing and pipefitting. Application for Study permit was submitted on 7th June 2022 and biometrics was completed on 16th June 2022. Since then eligibility and background check reviews are still under processing. School resumes on 6th September 2022. Any hope I can get a response from IRCC before the resumption of school? |

Those using certified agents for their study permit application, does it increase your chances of your application being approved? Those Canadian certified agents, the amount they charge no be here. The money is even enough to add to your flight ticket. |
you are welcome Dreambig124: |
if you have someone willing to loan you the money while you give your crypto as collateral, you and that person should sign an agreement that shows a transaction was done between you too, perhaps a stamp from the court should seal the agreement and convince the VO that the lump sum was as a result of the transaction you did. Think a way around it. Dreambig124: |
Instead of liquidating your cryptocurrency bro which can be hard to buy back at a good price, try to borrow against it which means you can use it as collateral that is if you don't want to liquidate your crypto. |
Thank you very much. Ibitowaoa: |
Good Day Folks, I will be glad if anyone has an idea on this or if you have faced similar situation before and the things you did. I have a BSc (ED) in Health Education second class lower division and currently pursuing an MPH in Health Policy and Management at the University of Ibadan. I have completed my coursework and just have my project to complete in a few months time. I am applying to do another master degree in Canada at Mcmaster University (MSc eHealth). I have gone through the requirements and know exactly what to do. Though I didn't meet up with the minimum academic grade in my undergraduate which is B+ on the Canadian grading system, the programme coordinator encouraged me to apply as they give consideration to those who don't meet the minimum grade but one must put up a strong application. Now the only chance I got to put up a strong application with my statement of interest and research interest is to show progress made so far in my MPH programme at the University of Ibadan. The Health Policy and Management department has a strict policy of not giving a statement of courses and grades gotten so far to proof as part of my application to Mcmaster as one is yet to complete the MPH programme. What is the possible way I can prove to the admission department at Mcmaster that I am almost rounding up the MPH programme as they equally allow prospective candidates apply to their programmes as long as you are at the final stage of almost rounding up on your previous degree? |
check if you are not leaving out any required section or column that is compulsory you fill. Check your date of entry to school and leaving, the Institution name and all or if you think your browser is the issue, use another browser. Olulove1010: |
Those advising the bloke to just get the Canadian study permit and still go to Germany, hope we all know a study permit has conditions attached to it? It is believed he will study at a Canadian University and so must obey conditions for which the visa was issued, now telling him to still go ahead with the application will contravene conditions for which the visa was issued and that can affect his chances of getting a Canadian visa in the future because he breached conditions for the first one. As I said, it is better he withdraws his application so he does not get a denial and processses his german student visa and hopefully in future if he wishes to visit Canada, his records with them will remain clean instead of getting the Canadian study permit and not using it. |

I don't know bro but you have just had to give a good reason why you want to withdraw at this point. Also, read up the terms about withdrawing an application that has already started on the IRCC website to see if you can find a reason to provide for a successful withdrawal without denial of visa application. Ibitowaoa: |
Bro just send them a mail informing them that you can't pursue the application any further as a result of issues you need to sort back in your home country, perhaps someone closely to you is terminally ill and you would like to be there for the person before he or she dies and as a result you plan to reapply when the time is convenient for you emotionally and all and you have withdrawn your admission at the school too because of what happened. Perhaps this might help. Ibitowaoa: |
i was given an offer for Health inforamtics technology, i have been told to pay the initial deposit of $2330 canadian dollar, but i am waiting to apply for a masters program at Mcmaster before I firmly make a decision. banjigilbert: |
you need to take your time to search for schools that can accept her grade for a PGD. bastardson: |
Thanks bro, the dude is just quoting someone out of context. If he feels he has the funds to show all by himself. It is a plus. But not everyone has that kind of capacity to save up to 10 million naira or more. parksg: |
You absolutely don't get my point, not everyone have the whole funds to show. You can save to a considerable amount that will not meet the minimum funds requirement. Is it a sin to ask relatives to equally fund your account with their spare cash so as to meet up with the minimum amount? If you are able to save up to 11 million naira or more of your own funds, it is a great advantage. mcobex: |
The problem is the block funds one has to transfer to the school accounts of those countries you mentioned, no be small money. At least for Canada and others, you are just required to 'show' a certain amount of money in your account and most people achieve that by telling friends and relatives to deposit into their accounts. For the block funds, it means the money must be yours, that means you can't borrow from friends or relatives. And if one is to take a spouse along like Norway and Germany, the block funds will be times 2 of what is estimated for a single applicant. When you calculate that, it is close to 11 million naira or more. Oskydaniellyyy: |
Very advisable the person states it. Should give reasons why she was denied a US visa. If she doesn't, they will find out. Canada shares information with US immigration, so better she doesn't play smart. Mrmoshood: |
i believe this is what has happened. Advisable one always gives the documents demanded to the agent personally than telling the agent to get those sensitive documents himself. Those folks are just after their money whether you get denied or not, they don't care. Blema111: |
Bro you just put yourself in a deep mess. The stupid agent don go use 'oluwole' bank statement and that can cause a straight denial possibly with some sanction. Advisable to use your own bank statement, parents or someone you know personally. Leave7777: |
You are welcome. oyinlove15: |
simply choose any of the methods convenient for you. if you go with a wire transfer, it means you will be needing US dollars which you can obtain by changing your naira and depositing same into your dollar account with your bank. you can then do an international transfer depending on the amount the school requested you pay. You must ensure you include your application number and the purpose of payment in the reference section of your transfer. If you are going to use your master or visa card, you don't need to go changing your naira, simply choose the card payment option, fill in your card details and your billing address, the equivalent Canadian dollar will be removed from your account. Note you must know the current exchange rate your bank is selling Canadian dollar to naira so you have the exact naira equivalent in your account so your transaction does not get declined due to insufficient funds. www.abokifx.com should help you in that regards. Note your naira master or visa card must be enabled for international transaction. Contact your bank to confirm if it is enabled for international payment. oyinlove15: |
If you are highly skilled or got a job offer from companies over there, then work visa is possible. Don't go and waste your money on those agents. You can apply for a work visa yourself as long you have the needed skills and job offer from an employer over there. omoluka: |
if you are to make a wire transfer, open a dollar account with your bank, deposit the amount you are to pay plus charges your bank will take to process the transfer. Ensure you follow the instructions on how to make the transfer stating your application number, the purpose for the payment, and all information you are required to provide from the wire transfer information the school or payment service provided. Ruby06: |
from your welcome package sent to you by the school, it should indicate payment methods for international student. Ruby06: |
