iluvpomo:I am sorry, but how dare you call someone an illiterate when you are one? Is it your pastor that told you Christians follow new testament alone? Does your Bible have old testament or not, if yes then why, since you only follow the new testament, if no then why are you fuckingg up here? Who even told you Jesus was a Christian? Lol, that's hilarious, for the records bro Jesus was a JUDAIST... I am more bothered about your claim that Christians follow the new testament only anyway, are you in one way saying Christians don't follow the laws of Moses known as the 10 commandments from the old testament? Are you saying Christians don't follow the Creationist theories and the life of Abraham from the old testament anymore? Are you saying Christians don't memorize all the songs of David in Psalm and songs of Solomon anymore? Are you saying the book of Proverbs is no more relevant to Christianity? Are you saying, who gives the Bleep about Daniel, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Samuel and the likes? Are you saying you don't read from the old testament in your church? I tire for you big time. You are obviously one of those Christians who don't even know what they are doing or what Christianity is all about. |

To gain admission in Nigeria, there are many requirements students must satisfy. The Joint Admission Matriculation Board (JAMB) banned the popular post-utme examinations in 2016. The body claimed that most universities have turned the exercise into a money-making venture. Jamb might be right, but the ban made admission processes which were overseen by JAMB tedious than when the universities post-exams were conducted. Jamb threatened by releasing a press release last year. They warned that any school found culpable would face mandatory sanctions. Abugossips looks into the four most important must-have requirements to secure admission in 2017 amidst the fierce competition below. 1. High UTME scores Students who perform very well in UTME and with very high scores are well placed to secure admission in 2017. During the post-utme days, only students who made high scores through malpractices fail to impress in post-utme examinations. Although JAMB's overall cut of mark in 2016 was 180, some federal institutions insisted on 200 pass mark. This is is not expected to change this year as schools such as OAU, UI, and UNILAG have been maintaining 200 cut of mark for a very long time. This means if you score below 200 in your UTME examination, you have a very low chance to secure admission into these institutions. Students who intend to study courses such as medicine and surgery, pharmacy, law, accounting and other hot courses will really need to score high in UTME this year to secure admission. 2. A complete O'level result. I have seen students with incomplete O'level results optimistically expecting to secure admission into tertiary institutions. Most students believe awaiting results work like a charm. Expecting results work when you’re lucky. Having your O'level results at hand for admission is wise. The school you’re applying to might decide to carry out their screening processes earlier than when O’level results are released. Most schools, however, do their screening later than the release of O’level results. An optimistic student will be disappointed if he fails English or Mathematics despite having a high score in UTME. Another case is where prospective students do not ensure they have the best O’level course combinations for their applied courses. Students make this mistake all the time. As a rule of thumb, your O’level subjects combination should be the determining factor. You should choose a course according to what your O’level result is. Making use of the JAMB brochure is a good way to avoid this costly mistake. Awaiting result and wrong O’level subjects combination is really going to be one of the significant factors of getting admitted into any institution this year. Most schools will specifically use it to screen out students to reduce the number of applicants. Click on the link to see the last two requirements here -->>>http://www.abugossips.com/4-must-requirements-secure-admission-2017 Securing admission is a fierce competition in Nigeria. Over 1.5 million students apply through JAMB every year for a space in Nigerian universities. It is more than just reading your books exhaustively while preparing for UTME, it is more than knowing the crème de la crème of the institution you are applying to, it is more than just falling under the catchment area of your choice of school. Although these four must-have requirements can individually secure your admission into the University, it is an additional advantage if you have all four. Best of luck. |

Ahmadu Bello University is the first University of Northern Nigeria; the citadel educates over 40,000 students on both undergraduate and graduate levels. With students from all walks of life, the poor, the rich and the intermediate; almost every tribe in Nigeria gets admitted into one department or the other. However, the school has a lot of history, which many of the students and the aspiring students do not know and as well do not bother to know. Today you will know five important things anyone should be aware of Ahmadu Bello University. It will either encourage you to apply for a change of institution or amuse you and urge you to come and see for yourself. Read on 1.The Chancellor and Vice Chancellor of A.B.U It is not a typical question that comes out in General studies tests or exams, as compared to the Vice Chancellor's name, but it is pertinent to know the name of the Chancellor of a University. Most students don't pay attention to this detail because of what use is it? You never can tell, however, as surprises are ways of catching someone unaware. The question can be asked anytime and anywhere; it may be while representing the school or somewhere where lapses will not be tolerated. The Vice Chancellor of Ahmadu Bello University is Professor Ibrahim Garba. The name of the Chancellor of A.B.U is Igwe Nnayelugo Alfred Nnaemeka Achebe, the Obi of Onitsha. According to Google, A chancellor is a leader of a college or university, usually either the executive or ceremonial head of the university or a university campus. In most Commonwealth and former Commonwealth nations, the chancellor is usually a ceremonial non-resident head of the university. View full list of all federal universities Chancellors 2. A.B.U has the largest Campus in Nigeria and 2nd in Africa. Over time, Ahmadu Bello University has been adjudged the largest University in Nigeria, in sub-Saharan Africa and second largest in Africa coming behind Cairo University, Egypt. This is because the University runs two campuses, one in Samaru and the other in Kongo. This information, however, is due to land usage by the University. Ahmadu Bello University has only 7000 hectares of land, while the University of Ilorin has 75,000 hectares. But Ahmadu Bello University tops this list on the merits of land usage and not the area of land owned. This is one of the most interesting things about the school, and the management is not relenting as they are pushing to increase the land usage by the development of the new multi-billion Naira project " Ahmadu Bello University phase 2," which had already started and will enormously increase the size of the Samaru campus. 3.The majority of the staffs and students are Muslims. Different students will understand and accept this fact differently depending on their religion. Since there is no harm caused by this on the welfare of students, except on the social and political influence by students and their school of thoughts, there is no great consequence of most people on campus belonging to a particular religion. There is a chapel, a Catholic building and Christian students are always seen holding fellowships peacefully on campus grounds. Islam and Christianity, being the two most practised religion in the country, are somewhat compatible on Ahmadu Bello University campus. Each group goes about their activities peacefully without disturbance, the school left no chance for any disturbance, as the student(s) involved will be given immediate rustication or expulsion. However, the most prominent religion on campus is Islam, and this is due to the location of the University. The Northern part of Nigeria is known with Islam as the South Western part is known with Christianity, aside from the effect of religion and sense of belonging on the school's politics, there is nothing to worry about when it comes to a peaceful environment on campus. Muslim students rush in numbers to Central Mosque for Jumat prayer every Friday, this vast population of Muslim students has resulted in the school having more Mosques than Libraries, who is to blame? A large number of students trooping to Jumat on Fridays is not seen when the Christians are holding their revivals. 4. The most spoken language on Campus is Hausa. This is not expected to be, given the fact that we are talking about a University where the mode of learning and lecturing is in English Language, the official Lingua Franca in Nigeria. The majority of the students on campus are always seen conversing in the Hausa Language in classes, Laboratories, excursions and field works. This does not come as a surprise; the school is located in Hausa-speaking region, you don't need to be reminded do you? Many a time, students have been cautioned by the non-Hausa speaking students to converse in English so that they can all flow with practicals and field works, but it all has been falling on deaf ears. It does not look like it will change soon, so if you do not speak Hausa, it's time to learn some. Here is a list of Languages in a descending order or frequency of how much you'll hear them on campus Hausa Yoruba English Pidgin Igbo 5. Extreme weather conditions The climatic conditions in Zaria can be likened to that of hell fire, and that is if there is any place like that. Everything seems to be extreme in Zaria, and you will have to pack your sweaters as well as your hand fans to campus. The weather changes sharply and no one knows when it does, they just anticipate. When it's cold, typically during harmattan periods, from November to early February, everyone on campus is always shivering. That is when you will see different kinds of dressing and packing, it does not leave anybody behind, from the top officials to the freshers. When it's hot, this is the weather condition most students detest the most, trust me you don't want to experience heat period in Zaria. Many wonder how Zaria could be freezing and almost immediately scorching with just a few days between the weather periods, and one answer is that Zaria is hell fire. If you have never seen ice falling from the clouds, you will experience this in Zaria when it rains. One safety measure you'd want to take is to be indoor when this happens, so the rain won't wash away blood from your head as the ice could give you a slight knock. You'd also want to be indoor when it's about to rain because the wind that comes before it rains in Zaria can carry you to na man's land. These five revelations listed above actually make Ahmadu Bello University a lovely place to be, if you have not traveled away from home before, you will need to make this trip, whether for your post-ume screening or registration, Good luck. http://www.abugossips.com |
You guys have spoilt the peer to peer donation ideology.... It's a pity |
urheme:Atleast I am bigger than the likes of you. Die and get your gain instead of posting rubbish here. |
urheme:Death is gain? Then your folly is really a loss.... mtchew |
Sexina851:Laughablablablabla, and as I type I am still laughing. Atheism is a height, the height of the disbelief in god. You never got there I guess. Maybe you became agnostic and you weren't sure. You see, when you know a lot of science and you are bold enough to use it to question the existence of god, there is no going back, that's where I am right now. It is absolutely impossible for a god to exist and also impossible for a non existent god to answer prayers ok. Yeah, you could actually go on writing to your own satisfaction lengthily, I won't stop you. Just read your post repeatedly and tell me if you were ever an atheist, "YOU PRAYED TO GOD AS AN ATHEIST THE DAY YOU ACKNOWLEDGED HIM TO SHOW YOU HIMSELF" right? In my atheistic opinion, you imbued yourself with a mammoth confusion of the existence of god not the non-existence, so you can be more closer to him in your deluded situation and hoping you can show/tell people like me your god exists. Applause, it's not working ma'am. You were never at any point in time an atheist, obviously. |
Samadict:If your god or your creator, whatchacallit, is subjected to pleasure, then he is a tyrant. And please tell him, his pleasurable moments have been duely noticed, like those you guys claimed in the old testament. I am talking about Sodom and Gomorrah, the time of Noah, where scores of people died, including children and new born babies. Pleasure my foot. |
UyiIredia:Deism is a belief in God, but a rational belief. A belief in a god of some sort whether rational or irrational defines religion. Don't get it twisted. Whether buddhism subscribes to a god or not doesn't make it less a religion, as there are many definitions that satisfy the meaning of religion.
|
Sexina851:Why do you think he does |
Sexina851:I perfectly understand where you are coming from sisi, but permit me to establish some facts here - God is perfectly engraved in religion, get the definition of religion you will realize it's all about God. - Nobody can seek God outside a religion, Jesus established the importance of Church, Mohammed did for Mosque and other religions established for their worship places. If there is anything you practise and seek God from, it's called a religion. - A sinner is someone who has deviated from the way of your god, a disbelief in your god is nothing more than a great deviation. So according to religion, yours or others, I am a sinner. - I don't hate god, I don't love him either. You know why? Because he doesn't exist. |
holaoluwai:You are deluded my friend |
olagift:God as a matter of "una" opinions is a being that can do anything, it wouldn't be wrong for one of his perceived "creation" whom he has promised he will do whatever she ask him or to keep believing he can change her situation. You know my problem with people like you? Your eyes are wide open but you won't use it to see. Now you tag her religious rights as stupidity, shey? continue |
miami35:Although you asked the op, but permit me to make a submission. Witches and Wizards do not EXIST. I will not argue, I will only give you reasons. 1. A so called witch or wizard can only attack someone she/he has seen or know, eg a witch in your town cannot harm me because she doesn't know me. But could harm you because she knows you. 2. A witch's charm or witchcraft cannot hurt whoever it is intented for in an instant, it takes a lot of time to suck someone's blood shey? One would ask, with all those powers why wait for days or months to catch me instead of an instant? It's because there's nothing as such 3. Witchcraft and Wizardry are two phenomenon based on hate and envy, you will be surprised how the body(mind) communicates with the universe and tend to affect the other person's convenience or inconvenience. You may not understand this post, please reread if you don't. |
Sexina851:If by grace you mean what we both know as grace, then it comes with or without sin. I am an atheist, most of your people had said and kept saying I am still living because of grace, though rebellion against your god abounds in me. So how do you define that? |
On this thread, there are so many misconceptions about some terms and their real meanings, words like miracles( absolute coincidence), metaphysical, spiritual(doesn't exist though). In the world of science, generally, we believe in metaphysical realm but God is not included in that realm. I guess spiritual is linked with religion. I even saw a post from a supposed sociologist claiming he doubted god, it's very possible but only from a philosophical and social views, if you want proofs, it's in science. There are people who have abilities that would make you believe god exists, sadly he doesn't. |
Name your price range |
I even wonder which economy MMM will even crash, I hope you guys aren't talking about Nigeria's economy, if so then you must be joking |
If you were scared MMM will crash the economy, then you should still be scared. Probably you were dead when we were complaining about the prices of commodities, it was MMM that made that cry reduce. I am not surprised that these town criers still want to cry, why am I not? They don't even have POs on MMM website, how will they know what is going on there? Well, since we are still on earth, their actions don't bother me. If the participants of MMM are disturbed by these town criers then they themselves are looking down on MMM. Yes MMM can crash, please don't come near us. But as it stands today, MMM is still healthy. So stop crying losers. And if you had lent people money to ph on the platform, you can jump in a well to soothe your stvpid self. LONG LIVE MMM |
So because someone traveled abroad now, it has turned to fleeing? The level of illiteracy in this country baffles me. I still marvel at the level of IQ of the buffoons who still question where the 30% profits come from. This is an ideology, we know most of you won't understand because of your low IQ, but you don't have to bring people down or the system because you are low. who the fvck is ajayiwrites? Another hungry blogger who wants to make sure his adsense earning increases beyond $50 every month, I don't blame him though. MMM participants were warned that MMM is a ponzi scheme and told to put their spare money. So why the uproar? MMM released an article that people with smaller amounts will be paid first, and the rich ones who contributed large amounts will have to wait, which has been happening over the past weeks, so why the town cry? Let me come and start going before the dogs start barking and wiggling their tails. |
Omudia11:He grew from an infant up to 33yrs before his death. So how is he the same? |
Deicide:There is no God without religion, if it's not by religion then it's not God |
You shall definitely find more flaws bro, but keep searching. I hope you hit a plateau soon, very soon. And the fact is there is no truth in any religion that believes there is God. |
No doubt, the origin of the world and life is a complex tree, and it takes a high level of intelligence to discern. But the idea of creation does not explain it to me. When I wasn't educated it did, but it doesn't hit me anymore. Some are too quick to judge me, some are too fast to ask for my head. I guess we came to the world differently, and you cannot go to my hell or my heaven(if they are both real). Some even think something must have happened for me to deny the existence of God. Nope, nothing happened, nothing at all. It just doesn't make sense anymore. Some think I am antichrist, lol. If God doesn't exist, how much more Satan. Is it not the same God who created Satan? We haven't seen any of them before, if the glory of God is too much that we can't behold him, is the glory of Satan also that much that we cannot see him? after all he has been stripped of his glory. This and many more are the things we have thought about that you people haven't bothered to. Religion is a very old philosophical weapon, and its grip on people is magnificent. Have you ever thought why you are a Muslim or a Christian or whatsoever religion you practise? It is just by chance, because you were born into that home, although some have been able to manage to transfer, but only a few. Now let's analyze this. Let's say God prefers Islam and commands that others will go to hell as it is clearly stated in the Koran, it will still be the same God who created Christians, right? Since God knows Christians will perish, why does he continue to create them or drop his creations in Christian families? The same thing goes for Christianity and if God prefers Christianity. I bet you have no explanations than to say we cannot question God. Then question yourself instead, why does he keep creating people that will practise a religion contrary to your religion? So that people can be much in hell fire or what? It just doesn't make sense. Let's start from here............. |
nurey:Thanks for the response boss. On your T&C 1. Please how can I contact you and where are you located? 2. 4days is not much to wait to have my phone saved from being an ipod. 3. Thanks a lot sir. Abeg oooo, I need help. I need to resurrect my SGH I317 Note 2. Many months before now, I have been using the phone without network and it's not a total no network. Sometimes if go to certain locations, I will get network but most of the time no network. It happened to all the sim cards I have tried with it. The wireless has not been coming up, it doesnt come on at all. Initially I thought the wireless was the problem but right now I dont even know what to think. I have taken it to engineers who have worked with the antenna all to no avail. The IMEI is intact, it is running kitkat 4.4.2. Today I played with the service menu, *#197328640# and I mistakenly locked the sim network, I know that can be unlocked, but I want the phone back to its normal condition. I think I need to flash it back to stock, please if anyone can help in any way I wll appreciate it. I dont mind meeting up. I hope I can get someone to reply me before I embark on a sojourn to IKJ computer village Samsung galaxy at&t Note 2 I317. Thanks in advance |

tens4real:Seriously, no wonder you're laughing... Your post is actually a humour. Talking of supercilious, you should really analyze your response to my first answer, very contemptuous, bur I dont care about that because all this drama is just playing in your head. You even resorted to calling names lol, what will abuklaw do? Tell me that you're the boss here? Very funny. The response I gave wasn't even any of your concern, but I have no problem with that, afterall itz a forum. Why would you even think I have hard feelings? Lol, if life na jeje, then I advise you to mind ya business too, afterall thatz how you maintain the jejely nature of life. I don't expect you to respond to this, but perhaps I'll be disappointed once again. This is really funny lol |
tens4real:If you're coming to school and you have a mind of living in school like you are living at home, then why come? ABU hostels cannot be compared to OAU hostels because I have been to both. No rats, no bed bugs, no multiple squatters etc, as well as others. ABU hostels are conducive enough for serious students. Why compare it to a house self? If you are a serious student, then ABU hostel is for you, but the way you're nattering, I heavily doubt that.. If you want some hostel like your house, just bring your house with a luxurious bus, stop clamouring here in NL, ABU has enough land, you can get a place to sit your house. You can also come with a freezer so I will be able to drink the cold water you advised in your house. |
DANO1011:You are coming to ABU to study, not to flex or enjoy yourself. It is conducive enough for you not to be relaxed. |
