Tayoccu God bless you. That is very much my point. How much force does a player need going into a 50-50 tackle. Gallas went into a 50-50 tackle totally mistimed which ended up on another players ankle. Said player was well ready to take the pitch the next game. That is simply because he knew not to apply force enough to break a man's leg in a tackle.

In this case Akinlabi wants us to accept it was just a bad tackle, when the swing of a leg was enough to break another man leg?!!! Are you shitting me?!! Yes it was hard. Nothing wrong with going in very very hard. It wasnt high and the studs were not
showing. He swung it and players slide in and swing for 90 minutes or no one raises an eye brown.

Without that horrific end result, if the referee had red carded him, we would have been saying it
was a soft sending off.

When football was still a contact sport, I used to enjoy the hard tackles dished out by the likes
of Sounnes and Pearce and I read and enjoyed stories about people like Chelsea's Ron Harris.

He is still a hero at Chelsea. He wasn't nicknamed "Chopper" for nothing.

Such players have sent more than 3 players on medical leaves in the past and they are heroes today.

When Pedro Duscher broke Bachams metatarsal in 2002, I took it as a tackle gone bad. I know a broken metatarsal
is not in any way as bad as Ramsey's injury, the point is that when you are on the receiving end and there is no
proven intention as the replay has shown, you have to accept it.

for me. If you body check someone and he goes on to fall and break his head, we will say we should ban anyone that

inasmuch as I agree with you that banks are business ventures, I will also like to bring to your notice that this whole problem in the financial industry was caused by financial misconduct on the path of the management of these banks (lack of Corporate governance etc).

Yes, there have been financial misconducts but that is not the issue. The issue is that there
is a situation on ground. The business can no longer (whatever the reson is) keep all the
staff. They needed to downsize and that is what they have done. There should be no
sentiments attached to it. Everyone should take it on the chin and move on.

If eventually those people start their own businesses in future, they will have to hire and
fire as well. Life goes on.
