Fabregas should do a Keano (1999 against Juve)

That is if he is mentally strong.

The good thing about this Barca side is the fact that they press the ball a lot. They
work hard a lot not to allow their opponents play when they are not with the ball.

Arsenal are coming into it little by little but i worry for them in Camp Nou.
If they weather the storm in the first half, they might have a chance.

Abi make dem kuku concede maybe things will even up a bit  grin

I cant be any worse than Zlatan is.

If you pay me that much, I can be better than Zlatan sef.

Waste of Space.
He should have buried at least one of those. Especially the first one served on a platter by Alves

The second leg has been reviewed on FUTURE this morning.

I am sorry to announce that Man-U would not be able to make it to
the semis. This is a very said story. cry cry cry cry
We're out because we lost the first leg 2-1?  shocked

Are you saying the only chance Utd have to go past Bayern is to win or draw away first? Once we
lose the first leg, we're out?  shocked

kay_pumpin:
Any team will celebrate been bailed at the death like that.
Not United. When Rooney scored at the death to beat AC Milan 3-2 in 2007 after being 2-1 down. We
did not act like we had won the trophy because we knew we had to go to San Siro.

We celebrated a well worked goal, yes, but not like it was all over.

tkb417:
@Akin Alabi
happy birthday my Oga

many happy returns
Thanks. I've got 67 more years  grin
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Manchester United Fan Thread! We Are The Red Devils! by akinalabi(m): 10:16am On Mar 31, 2010
Evra and Sir Alex conspired to mess up my birthday.

They surely have to make amends at OT.

But why were Bayern celebrating like they have won the trophy? grin

The funniest thing is we can pass the ball. . . .but we tend to that better when we don't respect the opponents.
We are giving Bayern too much respect.
That is Fergie in Europe for you.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Bayern Munich Vs Man Utd [2-1] On Tues. 30th, March 2010 by akinalabi(m): 8:50pm On Mar 30, 2010
Enthusiastic start to the second half by Bayern

A passing team like Arsenal or Barca would have ripped Bayern apart.

~Sauron~:
We need to move the ball around quickly. . . . Carrick and Park have been sloppy in possession.
They should be spraying those balls wide right. . . . .Bayern's LB is a weak link.
Nani  has sodomised him enough in this half. . . we should exploit their weak points.
Their entire defence is wack. We can hammer these people if we try to.

We can't get Park into the game. . . . .
And we're getting too sloppy. . . Like the way we were in the first half at the San Siro
BusinessRe: Have You Ever Lost Cash To An ATM? by akinalabi(m): 10:02am On Mar 29, 2010
I wont say "lost" because you get your money back 100% of the time.

I've had dispense error up to 10 times. It was automatically returned 90% of the time. The other 10% I had to fill a form at
my bank and it took over a week.

axeman85:
i havent been a victim and i pray i wont as i am scared of this stories i am hearing, so what i will do is definately and patiently go into the banking hall and queue and withdraw what ever i need. for the week or days.
There is nothing to be scared about. You always get your money back.

I think a lot of folks here are being economical with the truth. . .

Most Nigerians leave Nigeria because of MONEY.

Why ain't we seeing that here?

Na lie.
Ronaldo was a machine in Man Utd.
I did not see him lying lifelessly in a stretcher throughout his stay in England and he was kicked and fouled at least 10 times per game.
Granted, he is petulant but not in the same degree as Fabregas begging UEFA to remove defenders from the game because he'd rather have a stroll into the opponent's goal unperturbed.
Leave them. . . They are really trying to make football a non contact sport
PoliticsRe: Why Did You Leave Nigeria? by akinalabi(m): 10:50pm On Mar 22, 2010
I left Nigeria with the hope  of making BIG money.  cheesy

I ran back when I discovered that Naija is where BIG money really is.

Still a foul that originated outside the box, ended halfway in the box, and thus, still a legitimate penalty.
Again, Valencia did not dive.
He didn't need to.  .  .Masch's stupidity did the work for him.
I cant believe you guys are replying meaningless posts.

The foul started from outside the box, we all agree. The point remains that there was still a foul when
he got into the box. Correct decision.

All these physics talk is nonsense. Where in the world has a player in motion fallen backward when
tugged?

Fall on your back while running forward because someone was tugging you?  grin

We should differentiate football analysis from comedy.

You would have thought hnic would like to focus on his own team instead of crying in the thread of the defending champions.
They know its not in their hands so they have to worry about what other teams play.

@Akinalabi
Same way Vidic was lucky to be on the field after his suplex slam on Agbonlahor in the CC Final. At least you agree he was inconsistent cos thats what your post is kinda saying
I think everyone that saw that game knew Vida was lucky. I heaved a sigh of relief when I saw
a yellow.

and the referee with Bionic eyes was able to spot thathuh
That can only be seen with TV replays
The crowd shouted murder and Webb as usual ,bought it
Whether he has bionic eyes or whatever, what matters is that he made the right call.

HNIC:
Ha ha  ha
Fela said
'Tisa, don't teach me nonsense'
How do we calculate injury time?
Why does everyone say 'Fergie  time' these dayshuhI am
So you truly buy into the myth that Fergie is dictating the time added on at OT?

I rest ma case.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Man Utd V Liverpool [2 - 1] On Sunday 22nd March by akinalabi(m): 6:16pm On Mar 21, 2010
Mascherano was lucky to remain on the field after that
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Man Utd V Liverpool [2 - 1] On Sunday 22nd March by akinalabi(m): 5:54pm On Mar 21, 2010
HNIC:
Liverpool-A penalty that never was
One of Valencia's foot was already in the box before Mascherano let go

HNIC:
AC Milan-Oaps on the field
Man Utd's average age is higher than that of AC Milan

HNIC:
Man City-Fergie time.
So where's the sodomization?
You need to understand how calculating injury time works

HNIC:
It's in Chavs hands
They have to drop points for Manure to win anything
FACT
I thought you shoulf be concerned about your club's fortunes
