If anybody here knows how I can get my passport back please let me know, its been more than two months they have held my passport washout any information, VFS even stopped responding to my messages for more than 1 month now, I never knew looking for sout african visa will turn into this kind of mess, even if they are not giving visa why not return peoples passports ? This people are fucking heartless.

The embassy is working. Applied recently for a visitor visa and got it within 10 working days. Submitted 12th September and got it 26th September.

Isn't Boko Haram ravaging the North East, but you are probably living in some other part of the country, carrying on with your life without any thoughts about BH.

To everyone who has been telling us to stop applying for permits. It's rather unfortunate that Xenophobic attack happens almost every year. But we Nigerians have to find a way to make a living, if it takes going into the most dare situations to make a buck, we'd do it because staying at home won't be of any use to us simply because of the current situation of the country. I believe the SA embassy will do the same. Until there is calmness unless they want Nigerians to plunge into the current crisis
