D owners of d rights are senseless . Hw can dey charge some of our neighbors 50,000 and dey expect us to pay 4.5m. I know 4 sure dat d British pay d highest right 4 d champions league despite d fact dat dey have a smaller population and economy Dan d French and d Germany's, so anyone using population as a criteria is clueless. |
D guys tried. I was a little bit impressed with d way dey reacted after d sending off. Keshi and Yobo have to take d blame 4 dis, dey should have told dose useless 4ward players to hold on to d ball. We had possession with one minute to go, and we blew it big time. |
Good work from d super chickens |
I expect d super chickens to qualify from dis group. Nigeria has d best record at d Nations cup. Out of 16 app, we have been medalist 13 times. D record is so good dat it would be unwise to believe dat Nigeria would not qualify from dis group. |
Gbam! Make it 50% duty. Customs to the same...import a 5 million naira new car like 2012 Honda Accord or 2012 Toyota Camry, Customs will slap a 50% duty...2.5 million naira. This is no joke...import and see. What Federal government do with the duties from Customs, I don't know. A yearly 20% benefit tax would be very good. |
Dis was about six years ago. Now one million members. |
Is she not meant to be in prison. |
D best coaches in history have coached at Bayern, and Guardiola is following d footstep of coaches dat have achieved great success at a young age, and have gone on to coach Bayern. |
From wat I read in d papers, Akwa Ibom gov said dat d oil well is 500 miles of d coast of Lagos, and majority of people don't even know it. He said dat d only reason no income comes to Lagos is becos it is not within 200 Miles's of d coast of Lagos. I believe wat d man said becos, d man is alway looking 4 extra income 4 his state, and he even made sure dat he collected all cross river derivation revenue. |
Nigeria is actually very poor. We need to review d current tax system. Gov Fashola and an unknown gov from d SS are currently frustrating d effort of d joint tax system currently been developed. |
Dis man has not even spent two years in d office, and u all want to kill him. I sincerely don't have an opinion on d president now, becos I believe he is been undermined by some politicians. In 15 months, I should be able to have an opinion on d presidio. |
Rubbish. Wat stupid example is dis. I'm sure dat she does not have d talent to get a better job. Dis would not stop her children from doing whatever dey like. |
I saw d first half, and only part of d second half . I believe d guys can improve in SA. The truth is dat Martis, Osaze, and TT deserve to be in dat team. This is d Nations cup, and we all know dat Nigeria usually perform well, infact since 1976 we have been d most consistent team at d Nation cup, so we expect nothing less than a semi-final place with dis set of average and below average players. |
I used to believe dat d gov has done nothing until I analyzed d task facing him. Dis is a gov dat has to make d whole of Lagos look okay b4 everyone can admit dat he his trying, whereas other gov's just need to make their capital okay b4 dey receive commendation. I personally would love to have a change, and let's face it how bad can a Lagos state gov actually be. |
Nigerians are one of d easiest people to rule. D truth is dat relative to other state gov's, d Akwa Ibom stae gov is trying. I wonder why people are comparing infrastructure in Uyo which is a state capital to infrastructure in d whole Lagos state. Wat about d development in other areas of d state. It would be good to see pictures from there. D money our state gov receive is small, when u compare it to d level of development needed in d country. D previous leaders of dis country have messed up so much dat any serious contractor would include a risk premium into d cost of constructing infrastructure in Nigeria, therefore wat costs 20billion in other countries would most likely cost 50billion in Nigeria. |
Since DORA left NAFDAC, the agency became a shadow of itself, they are now following the footsteps of EFCC, ICPC, PHCN, NIGERIA POLICE, FRSC whose trade mark and watch word is failure and corruption. Because d present DG has refused d envelop method (giving reporters large sum of money in order 4 them to publish good things about u) does not mean dat he his not working. Infact he his performing far better than Dora. |
Sometimes wen I read comments on nairaland , I become too embarrassed to finish reading d comments. If we were sensible people, dis thread ought to have been about d bad state of our health sector, and how a top and talented actress could not afford or raise 10million naira without resorting to begging d nigeria public. D problem I have with past military gov in dis country is dat in addition to failing to develop d country, dey also failed to do d right thing. I still don't understand how come contributory pension scheme, and health insurance did not start a long time ago. |
I guess if Okonjo-Iweala was in d private sector, she would have been sacked long ago. I simply don't understand how it is good to borrow lots of money at a very high interest rate, and save excess crude oil money at a very low interest rate. They are telling us dat all other countries borrow money, but at wat interest rate do dey borrow. In fact there was a time investors were paying USA and Germany money to buy their 2 years bond. I have d believe dat d 60% debt cancellation (other countries got 100% cancellation ) was not a cancellation, but simply a refinancing of our debt. D cancelled debt would be refinanced into d future interest of future debt. |
lol and dude dont vex, his not wrong, if the civil war didnt happen, most people that had opportunity to buy shares and the money, wouldnt have had the opportunity because they would have had competition so my bro isnt wrong, but he typed it, and i guess he stated it the wrong way. No vex!! oh yell merry xmas, and xoxo!! S It would be good if ur brother mention d names of d people dat got rich as a result of d civil war. Majority of d oil blocks were given out ( stolen) during Babaginda and Abacha regime. I wonder hw otedola who made his money as a result of d deregulation of d downstream sector relates to d civil war. Tell ur brother to get a life and stop been tribalistic. |
I believe d story 100%, becos otedola has a 26 yr old daughter. D Woman should be allowed to see are daughter now, wetin happen self. I wonder how come d girl has not made an effort to look 4 her mother . |
. Perhaps they should mandate CAC to de-register Femi Otedola's Forte Oil and inform the NNPC not to deal with Forte Oil...... Their shameless demand for Oteh's resignation/sack is very nauseating. (Quote) (Report) (Like) Wat has otedola done to warrant ur hatred. Dis woman definitely has d support of d president. We have seen d president sack people 4 much less. |
U need to know hw to code. Elaborate on ur problem, so dat people can assist u. |
Please can anyone confirm.

Dat is not good enough. Even 19/20 is not good enough. |
What a goal from falcao |
akintun: Majority of d ratings on Forbes, with regard to African is done by an individual called mfonobong nsehe. All his ratings are not official Forbes ratings. He is a contributor to Forbes. I only know of one official Africa ratings, and dat is d 40 richest people in Africa. No, it is official, at least for Forbes Africa. Mfonobong worked briefly in my former company (Corporate Communications department) before joining Forbes Africa. He was also the one that did Nigeria's Richest pastors, Wale Tinubu: King of African Oil etc for Forbes. D guy ratings are not official, and by d way wat is Forbes Africa. Forbes Africa are in Africa to collect money from award thirsty Africa's. Dey send their officials to rich African men to collect money 4 useless awards. Their award is usually given to one of d highest bidders. I visit Forbes almost everyday and I have never seen any link on their website to Forbes Africa. I seen links to countries like china , Russia, and India but never to Africa. |
banki: people like you are so dumb but i had to reply this to clear the air, am sure you dont know that it was soludo that granted licience to stanbic ibtc, Jiaz bank, and standardcharterd and this banks have none interest banking platforms. I also know that gtb zenith firstbank etc are commercial banks that have posted wonderful profits running into trillions of naira in the last year. I am a student of "soludonomics" but he made a mistake by saying nigeria was insulated from the global economic crises was a mistake, another clown here said he has a masters and cannot comment about anyone that doest have a masters shows how shallow minded some of us here are. Sanusi Lamido Sanusi was the MD of first bank and also rose up to Head Risk management at UBA am sure you dont get to those kind of positions without having anything upstairs,I also agree 100% with the fact that majority of the civil/public servants contribute little or nothing to the country and i support the sack of 60%of them. Why should a governor/president have so many ministers commisioners, special advisers special assistants etc and yet they achieve little or nothing, why do we have hundreds of people working in the federal civil service doing but get paid, and yet this people dont let young graduates get employement or even grow . The banking industry was in a mess not just in nigeria but everywhere in the world Cecilia and Akingbola and thier likes turned nigerian banks to poo business, I am a victim of the harsh policies but the truth be told the problem is from a MACRO ECONOMIC level, the none implementatation of government policies and corruption is the problem not sanusi What we should be talking about is not politics of tribe etc but how we can make this government sit up and create an enabling environment for the country to be private sector driven so we can stimulate investment and stimulate growth and development Sometimes it pays to do some research before calling another dumb read below and see who is really dumb between me and you. Sanusi it was that granted islamic banking licences.... see link below http://www.thisdaylive.com/articles/sanusi-islamic-banking-is-soludo-8217-s-idea/94411/ Sanusi said the Banks and Other Financial Institution Act (BOFIA) gives power to the establishment of such financial institutions and that those who oppose it should go to court. He confirmed the CBN would soon issue a licence to Ja’iz Bank "because they are about to fulfil the requirement for the issuance of licence". Below is a brief Comparism of the Resume of Sanusi and Soludo Skill sets level Sanusi does not feature in Soludo's Skill Category , Sanuisi became CBN Governor because Yaradua was in power and not that he was qualified please get this understood. Sanusi was born on July 31, 1961. His father was a Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the 1960s and his grandfather was Emir of Kano and Islamic Scholar, Alhaji Muhammadu Sanusi. Sanusi graduated from King's College Lagos in 1977 and studied at Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria earning a BSc in Economics in 1981. He then taught economics at ABU from 1983 to 1985. He also obtained a degree in Islamic law from International University of Africa, Khartoum. Dr Soludo has been visiting scholar at the International Monetary Fund, the University of Cambridge, the Brookings Institution, the University of Warwick and the University of Oxford and a visiting professor at Swarthmore College (USA). He has also worked as a consultant for a number of international organizations, including The World Bank, the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa, and the United Nations Development Programme.Soludo is a core professional in the business of macroeconomics. He obtained his three degrees and then professorship at the University of Nigeria in Nsukka, Enugu State. He graduated with a First Class Honors degree in 1984, an M.Sc. Economics in 1987, and a Ph.D. in 1989, winning prizes for the best student at all three levels. He has been trained and involved in research, teaching and auditing in such disciplines as the multi-country macro econometric modeling, techniques of computable general equilibrium modeling, survey methodology and panel data econometrics, among others. Soludo studied and taught these courses at many Universities, including Oxford, Cambridge and Warwick. He has co-authored, co-edited and authored about ten books on this subject matter. In 1998 Soludo was appointed to the position of professor of economics at the University of Nigeria; the next year he became a visiting professor at Swarthmore College in Swarthmore, Pennsylvania, US. And why will the CBN Government be advising the Government to Downsize, one of the core functions of the Government according to the UN is to tackle unemployment Classification of the Functions of Government (COFOG) is a classification defined by the United Nations Statistics Division. These functions are designed to be general enough to apply to the government of different countries. The accounts of each country in the United Nations are presented under these categories. The value of this is that the accounts of different countries can be compared. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Classification_of_the_Functions_of_Government Else where in other parts of the world Federal Reserve Chairmen and Central Bank Governors are thinking of how to Create Jobs and reduce Employment and Sanusi is asking the Government to push people in to the Labor Market for a country that has 67 million youths unemployed and with no other means of surviving http://tribune.com.ng/index.php/news/48289-over-67-million-nigerian-youths-unemployed Bernanke Sets Job Creation as the Fed's Top Priority http://www.weeklystandard.com/blogs/bernanke-sets-job-creation-feds-top-priority_652380.html Sin summary , Sanusi does not seem to have the Skillset to run a Central Bank and is diplsying it by his lack lustre perfomance and his out of point advice to the Government to shed its weight. (Quote) (Report) 5 Likes (Like) I'm a big supporter of soludo, but saying dat Sanusi was not qualified is pure rubbish. D guy was d CEO of first bank 4 Christ sake. Sanusi gained experience in d banking hall, while soludo was a lecturer. There have been cases in history where academic scholars have failed woefully when given responsibilities . The biggest hedge fund failure in d 90's was run by by noble prize winners. Micheal porter firm dat advised big organizations recently became bankrupt . I personally believe dat soludo should have been allowed to clean up d system, and I think he would have managed d situation maturely and effectively. D thing is dat we alway fill we are wise in dis part of d world, and we end up doiing rubbish. |

He was just dancing randomly. |
King messi. Come and let us make u an Oba. |
It seems d banks, insurance companies, pension funds, and discount houses are looking 4 a safe place to diversify their investment. They have invested so much in d high yield gov bonds, and they are now looking 4 safe alternatives. It is very bad 4 d economy, d money should be invested in other areas of d economy. |
