Buhari seems to be a honest man, but he is part of d reason it is almost difficult 4 d present regime to perform. We were just told dat gov spends 70% of its income on d civil service, and d only way gov can build infrastructure is to borrow money from d international market or from d highly greedy local borrowers. D corrupt regime of shagari borrowed money at a low 4% interest rate, and Buhari refused to service d loan, and his action is actually affecting us today. Despite d fact dat we paid up our debt, we are still borrowing at about 14% dis present day. Buhari is part of d reason we are suffering, and he should not be given a second chance.

Stupid and senseless suggestion . We are still suffering from d very expensive American system, and instead of them abolishing d system, they want to now adopt it to d fullest. We are never original, and when we copy (which we do all d time), we alway copy d wrong thing . Instead of Northern states copying UAE, they choose to copy Yemen.

I don't understand why people here would say dat federal character made Sanusi d CBN governor. D man was qualified to be d gov. What's is your basis of your judgement? Are you asking based on revenue, profit, total value of your internet assets or company? Do you know that if i raise $5million from investors, i'm technically a millionaire based on company valuation even if my company is yet to turn in a profit. An internet dollar millionaire should be someone who earns at least $100,000 per month in personal income. Or your internet company should be making a profit of at least $25,000 profit per month consistently and you must own at least 70% of the company.

Valuing a business is not as simple as u put it. U have actually wrongly explained 2 methods of valuing a business. No one whose monthly profit is 25,000 dollars can be called a millionaire, even if he owns 100% of d company. Valuing dat type of business involves discounting d future profit by d cost of capital. An individual can actually be a millionaire if investors invest 5 million dollars in his business. If investors invest 5 million 4 a 60% stake, then d person automatically is a millionaire.

I actually meant dat it is good to relate with all type of people, and learn from them . U should relate to both divorce and happily married people, so dat u can learn from both of dem and decide d direction u wish to take in life. U stay in one country, and magically claim dat no where in d world are ATMs free. Total rubbish. D banks may have hidden charges, but as far as am concerned, ATM is free in developed countries. It is only an extremely small no of ATMs dat incur charges, and dey are usually found in small shops.

D truth is dat fashola is not immune to criticism. Afam has a right to critize him becos he stays in Lagos. In d developed world even d best are analyzed and critized. My take on fashola is dat he has tried considering d limited resources available . He has to borrow money at a high interest rate to finance projects ( only d Chinese borrowed him at a low interest rate) . There are lots of political, economic and tribal issues involved in destroying and building modern facilities in d state. D state presently does not have d money to develop. A budget of about 3 billion dollars 4 a state like Lagos is so small.

I thank God 4 dis thread. Wat Rossike said is wat I have been trying to explain to some of my friends. In south Africa and other western countries, blacks were used to build their economy. South Africa was a very sad case because white settlers from all over Europe came to look 4 gold. D weather was good, and some hit it big time.
