1. Any leader that forces you to do things against your will shouldn't be your leader, i.e. if you have the option to opt out which I believe you do.

2. I think it is very unwise for someone to fail school because they are doing the "work of the Lord".

If your Pastor can't understand that He is taking too much of your time then leave. Chikena.

Christianity EtcRe: The Man Or Woman:who Brought Sin To The World by AKO1(m): 8:51pm On Nov 13, 2008
This is what the scriptures say:
1 Corinthians 15

21 For since by a man came death, by a man also came the resurrection of the dead. 22 For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all will be made alive.

I dont think it should be a bone of contention though. This is one of those things that causes unnecessary division in the church.

Depending on where the tumor is sighted. It can affect motor coordination. Muscles that are required to walk need to be innervated by impulses from the brain.

ComputersRe: Folder Lock Without Any Software by AKO1(m): 8:06pm On Nov 11, 2008
Here's a better code:

**********************************************************
cls
@ECHO OFF
title Folder Locker
if EXIST "Control Panel.{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D}" goto UNLOCK
if NOT EXIST Locker goto MDLOCKER
:CONFIRM
echo Are you sure u want to Lock the folder(Y/N)
set/p "cho=>"
if %cho%==Y goto LOCK
if %cho%==y goto LOCK
if %cho%==n goto END
if %cho%==N goto END
echo Invalid choice.
goto CONFIRM
:LOCK
ren Locker "Control Panel.{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D}"
attrib +h +s "Control Panel.{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D}"
echo Folder locked
goto End
:UNLOCK
echo Enter password to Unlock folder
set/p "pass=>"
if NOT %pass%== type your password here goto FAIL
attrib -h -s "Control Panel.{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D}"
ren "Control Panel.{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D}" Locker
echo Folder Unlocked successfully
goto End
:FAIL
echo Invalid password
goto end
:MDLOCKER
md Locker
echo Locker created successfully
goto End
:End
2. Firstly open a notepad and then put code in notepad.
3. You will find “type your password here” in that code (Without quotes) so just write your password in place of “type your password here” (Without quotes)
4. Save this notepad as Locker.bat anywhere you wish
5. Then double click on Locker.bat.
6. when you double click on this it will create ‘Locker’ folder automatically, After creating of this folder place the contents you want to lock inside the Locker Folder and run locker.bat again, So it will ask to lock this folder… So just type “y” (without quotes) then press enter. Your folder get dissappered that means you locked your folder.No one can see your files of your locked folder.
7. Now if you want to unlock folder then again double click on Locker.bat, It will ask your password so just enter password and then press enter, Your folder get appeared.

Christianity EtcRe: Why Do Churches Pay Salaries To Musicians? by AKO1(m): 9:21pm On Nov 07, 2008
ow11:
Yes the church should pay their drummers,guitarists and pianists because they keep the flock entertained.

The choir members (who come for rehersals more than once a week), ushers, prayer band members and children's department minders do NOT deserve any monetary reward because the wage bill would be too high besides you do not need any special skills to stand for 4 hours for instance. But the drummer can walk if the price is right and there would be no dancing that sunday.

I would prefer the pastor's to be sincere about this fact and stop this work for God nonsense they are selling. Church admin staff should be paid because its their day job but hell if you pay the drummer, then you should pay all the sunday morning workers because if they walk, sunday service ain't getting done!
It looks like youre missing the point. If you're looking for entertainment why not invite secular musicians to come and jam gospel songs i your church?

It's more than entertainment, my brother.

Christianity EtcRe: Why Do Churches Pay Salaries To Musicians? by AKO1(m): 7:34pm On Nov 07, 2008
I think

if the motive of the church is to have the best musicians to increase their 'reputation'

or to prevent the good musicians from going elsewhere

then they shouldnt be paid, those kind of people should not even be allowed to play in the first place
people who [b]insist [/b]on being paid, i.e.

But

if a musician does not insist on getting paid

and the church deems it fit to give him/her something, to say thank you and as compensation

then it is not wrong.

Many church musicians today have no clue as to what their role in the service is all about.
There is a difference between entertainment and ministration, although they sometimes 'romance' each other well.
In a service, Church musicians are supposed to minister, primarily, and to entertain, secondarily.
The evil spirit left Saul because David played the harp. That tells you the potential that music has spiritually, how much more in the New Testament.
But you find out that many of them see it the other way round, and demand for money as though they were hired to play at a jazz club or something.
