Do you have any doubts that you exist ![]() There is no logic to follow. You contradict yourself in a most embarrassing manner. |

Miss Lady, speaking of answering questions, you may have also missed this post before you came up with 20+ questions asking for answers: No2Atheism:Cheers. ![]() |
From the experience I had in my former church. People that the leadership do not want to release are usually people that are close to the ministry and/or have been there for a while. The Pastor of that church preaches a lot about walking in love, steering clear from offence, covetousness, submission to spiritual authority, etc. After hammering this message of love into the heads of the congregation over the years, they have come to be very suspicious of people who want to leave, especially people who are close to the ministry, the reason being that they believe that it is very easy to be offended when you hear a lot of messages about refusing to be offended, ironically. Worse still, they have developed this warped ideology that if you hear from God about leaving independent of them, you probably didn't hear God; you are probably listening to the "counsel of the ungodly", it is out of covetousness, blahblahblah. So from their vantage point of spiritual authority, they want to lord everything over you, including when and if you leave. Its very very pathetic. |

You should be telling that to Seun, I think he's the only one that can do that. And between, he just did, yesterday. True talk sha, the updates are not as frequent as before. ![]() |
Well those are just a few questions, more will be asked of you all. A K O, DAVID, AND CO. PLEASE TRUTHFULLY ANSWER THE QUESTIONS. Since we don't know the Bible, well we're trying to learn and understand from those of you who do, so answer our questions. If you don't you won't be doing your rightful duty as a Christian in spreading the true word of God.
You must have missed my post:
David and co. It is quite obvious that the Catholic Church does not take the Bible as the word of God. Or maybe it is the word of God but it is fallibe and not complete. They see it as their compilation of historical events that Martin Luther deleted seven books out of. It is the piece of Literature they compiled that we are now defiantly referring to on every occassion. That's why I stopped getting involved in all these kind of arguments. Referring them to scripture does not achieve much. Peace and love to everyone anyways. https://www.etchstar.com/images/art/807/medium.jpg
I might chip in from time to time. But I've retired from lengthy posts, like replying your 20+ questions. Cheers Lady. ![]() |
pitu:Yes, we are looking at you not for you. ![]() |
Amen. |
The idea that anything that is not of/like yours is not of God is a symptom of the spirit of manipulation and witchcraft. I've been there before. |
First, I'm not sure that a demon can actually be housed in a christian; because the same person's body is the temple of the Holy Spirit. This doesnt make their body immune to satanic attack such as sickness. The reason is that it is actually the spirit that houses the Holy Spirit which is housed in the body. However, a christian can be demon-influenced. Examples, Judas betraying Jesus, Peter not wanting Jesus to be crucified. OBVIOUS:Correct. |
David, someone is playing dirty tricks here. Remember the time you quoted me and asked a question, where is the quote now? Someone is clearly a christian freak here, and is trying to clear all evidence of me questioning Christianity.
Wrong, there is a moderator here that is trying to keep the thread from derailing. This thread is not about questioning christianity but about this guy's predicament. Go and start another thread to question christianity or search for such threads and continue. |
Yes it is possible. When a person gets born again it is their spirit that gets born again, not their soul and body. So the devil can still influence and/or dwell in their soul and body. That is why 'born agains' still commit sins, even though their lives are dedicated to God. |
What the hell was that task yesterday? |
David and co. It is quite obvious that the Catholic Church does not take the Bible as the word of God. Or maybe it is the word of God but it is fallibe and not complete. Lemme try "Fine girl that is not a small girl" "Where are they"? |
Search before posting. |
Chrisbenogor:Okay let me iron this out. I didnt actually lock it because it was just two of you replying. I locked it because i was given the wrong impression. This post and the two that follow it make you sound like Huxley and his characteristic manner of derailing sensible threads. Thats why I locked it. My apologies. Please continue the new thread cos I'm not re-opening the other one to avoid duplication. |
Mpele:You don't have to loose your temper over such basic things. Nairaland is the Nigerian Forum. Your thread discusses the politics of South Africa. South Africa is foreign territory to Nigeria. And so South African politics should be discussed in the Foreign Affairs section. That's why it was created, it hasnt always been there.Quite easily done, wasn't it? Please don't loose your temper over this either. This section needs a moderator like yesterday. |
Foreign Affairs section mister. |
Please do us a favour by reporting them ok? Thanks. |
marktwain:Well that simply means your internet vote won't count cos they didnt send signal to the Netherlands. ![]() |

This is simply ridiculous! |
Morris is a d.ckhead, he replaced Tk with Ricco ![]() Such a show spoiler |
Paul may not be able to validate his findings. It's for the same reason that some of these MOGs keep running away from the press. |
