Seen. I thought you meant they were the very same people, not that you believe that it is the spirit of falsehood. Apologies. |

Speaking of merchandising: Why can't people just be allowed buy their oil elsewhere, or are they deceived into believing that the church's own is more 'potent'? \Speaking of Biblical: I agree with Jesoul that these things are not entirely unbiblical. What I have a problem with is when people pick out 'modus opeandis' from the bible and use them all the time, especially when we are not explicitly instructed to do so. For example the scriptures tell us that we shall lay hands on the sick and they shall recover. This is direct. On the other hand, Paul's use of the handkerchief was most likely spontaneous, as he was led by the Spirit of God, much like the way Jesus at one time spat in sand and rubbed the mix on a dude's eye to give him sight. Moreover, we are not instructed to go and do likewise. So it is much safer to make things we are explicitly instructed to do compulsory and leave the others only to be used as the Spirit of God directs. https://smiley.onegreatguy.net/2cents.gif |

Chris there is hardly any true christian that thinks they are accountable to Muhammed/Allah, same thing with muslims. So these kinds of threads are rather pointless, IMO. |

I have the tape of this story, quite intriguing. |
Nice nice nice. ![]() But that picture of Jesus coming down from the cross. . . . hmm, He looks too good to have been crucified. I dont think anything paints a more graphic picture than Passion of the Christ. https://img2.timeinc.net/ew/dynamic/imgs/030808/172027__passion_l.jpg https://www.marianland.com/tan/passion_scourge.jpg |
Well I heard from someone who was there, so what makes your statement any less than hearsay? ![]() |
