@spiceeamiee, mama her have advised. Please mash or blend the banana well to avoid seed in it. She will be okay and continue giving ORS as advised. Try and breastfeed her, she may want to bring out teeth.
God be with her. |

kodylicky: Hello NL mums,
Pls has anyone experienced this, if u have how did u overcome it..
My 8 month old son has refused to eat, normally he takes BM from the bottle and cereal from the bottle (not thick) buh since yesterday he has absolutely refused to eat anything. .He had cereal by 2pm yesterday and refused to eat anything till morning, I practically forced him to take BM from the bottle and since then, there's nothing else he will take. .
He is teething though, the first lower tooth just showed up and d second is abt coming up... gum is all swollen and he is so oo clingy n cranky. ..
Any ideas y he is not eating?
I'm just so worried. .. He seems to have lost weight since the teething thing started Try and introduce some new food to him like apple, pawpaw, carrot, mango puree. Also, calm down because when they are teething they tend to have high temperature, some may stool, vomit and all. It is well with your son in jesus name. |

MamaDG: I have been looking for pear in all the markets. They said its out of season. I don't think we have prune in Nigeria. I discovered it was the flagyl I was using that is affecting my baby's poo. I have stopped it though.. I now make his cereal light and I tried this early warm water as u advised but my baby rejected it immediately he noticed its not the usual sweet ordinary water. thinking of trying orange juice. @ bolded, I doubt if there is anything you are looking for in this world you won’t find in Nigeria. Talking from real experience . Please check Mall you will surely see prune. They may label it as Prum |

oamronnie: Ha! Is this safe? No vex o but I remember reading online when thinking about whether to give my 6month old orange or not that the acidity of oranges may cause them to have rashes and it's better or start when they are 1. That's why i'm kinda skeptical about 3-4 oranges. Please, no offence intended o, just trying to learn. For me, i am not a fan of orange so i will wait up till my child reach one before introducing orange simply because of its acidic nature. |

enque: I have an issue and can't seem to think of what to do.
My baby's creche will be shutting down for the year on the 18th December to resume 3rd January. The company I work for doesnt give leave in December and so my next best option to keep her while I work would have been my mum, but my mum is a fashion designer and this is her peak period... She won't really be chanced till after 26th December cos of d workload she has.
What do I do?
Zaynie Hunnisuzie Liftedhands Akorkor Jazzyjazz Feddy27 All other mamas
Thanks I think you may have to find another creche that doesnt close for the year or better still hire the nanny at the present creche since Zara has already get used to them(her) for the period. Also, you may ask for permission to allow you bring her to work( If possible) or if you have any younger ones to bring her along with you and zara to office everyday.( At least there should be library, or Empty office in the office) You may also check around for everyday drop-in creche, you should be able to find one around your area or office environment. Mamas please more suggestion!! |

@Sansa143, I don’t see anything wrong in testing his mouth with whatever you are eating as far as he’s past 6month. Some children eat more earlier than some. |
