Hi my people, I will like to share a testimony to just encourage someone that you can do it. I know copied my question munamoqel about me asking for price difference on automatic car but I believe you should copy this one too so that people can see that some of us are still getting it right. Thanks to @lexusgs430 for the talk about house rent pay is mortgage money. @ticha, thank you for the knowledge shared on mortgage and always ready to dissect my situation. @mamatukwas my sister, thank you I got into the Uk 6month ago and here we are as a house owner in the Uk. It can only be God. Thank you Jesus. @munamoqel, ensure you share this too in |

ThisPower: @Munamoqel So this is where you picked up another debate point of yours to your dead thread as usual. Your job is to go about on NL looking for things like this to talk about, yet your Hypocritical self is out in the open as one who tried to apply again to 3 different countries without headway.. You should be tired of always stressing down on people JAPA plan. Always drinking Panadol for others.
It is left for who want to japa to use their head to know what is best for them and job demands of that country. But talking down on people not to JAPA is a disease.
The same UK everyday, is where you claim to have schooled. E b like them deport you, cos I don't understand your level of bitterness. I quoted this post just to answer that munaMF. I am suprised seeing my information on another thread. Mr Man get issue |

Munamoqel: envy people are struggling to buy automatic car .that yapa for Najia insurance premium dey fear them see another japa crew may sold him nice venza automatic now cant buy a car in the uk Living In The Uk-life Of An Immigrant (part 2) by Akorkor(f): 3:15am On Sep 16 I am just wondering why automatic car is so expensive in the Uk. The price difference between auto and manual is just so annoying.
Is there any other site apart from gumtree, FB market place to still compare prices? I am wondering why you are quoting me? FYI, I already have a car and I am considering to get a new one. That is why I am asking if there is another way to get something cheaper than what I have |

AlphaUno: Na the price be that o. Just negotiate well and be careful you don’t buy a ‘dead’ auto transmission car in the name of automatic.
No other place to confirm as your hosts are extremely conservative and auto transmission here is like luxury - pipo wey get, dey always make sure say dem use am wella b4 deciding to sell Thanks. I have one automatic already. Just trying to get another one for family use |

Coleridge: Did you mean British Gas, instead of British Electricity? Note that both British Gas and Scottish Gas are the same company - when British Gas operates in Scotland, it trades under the name of Scottish Gas, but both are the same company.
Regarding the substance of your question - you can speak with British Gas and tell them you want to install a smart meter in your flat. You can also let them know that you want your electricity service to be postpaid, which can be serviced through direct debit. I use British Gas smart meter and it is postpaid. It is, as you noted, much more cheaper and cost effective than prepaid.
All the best. Thanks. I did this last week. Waiting for their response this week now. You are right, they are both the same. Regards |

Hello there, my people.
longest time o. How is this increase in energy affecting life here? I understand that now is not the best time to switch energy providers, but biko I dislike prepaid because at my previous residence, I was spending up to £120 per month on both gas and electricity, and this is me being frugal o. Take note that I was the only one who stayed at this time. Now that I've moved to another house with postpaid, my life has been wonderful. The estimated cost of gas and electricity is less than 50 pounds. So, I'm planning on moving out again, but provider are British Electricity and Scottish Gas, both of which are prepaid. I'd like to go postpaid. Is there a way to do this? |

grandma123: Thank you icon8 for your input, I know mostly the care work visa is 3 years or 5 years and you need to work for that employer, switching role or job means the 5 years route will reset. The question is, would corporate employer be willing to employ with Care visa? How would I be able to convince employer that I am still relevant in my profession with care job? Those are my thinking really. Many people have pointed this out but also to support that this information is wrong. Please lets be careful of what we share here instead, lets put our statement like questions so that we can get our fact rights |

Hello everyone, please is anyone having issue with UK visa page? Payment was made on Tuesday for Visitor visa application, bank deducted their money on Wednesday but up till today is still showing payment pending.
I called UK visa customer service here in the UK but the lady doesn't really know the process. She just told me to wait and gave me a reference number. What do you think I can do. The applicant is from Nigeria. Kindly assist if you have experienced this before. Thank you
And do you think she needs to do TB test as she will be frequent traveler and may stay up to 5month?

Chreze: Racism to me was experienced long ago by our fathers who were considered to be inferior, enough as to turn them to slaves or making them work in demeaning conditions/environments. Wearing them chains just to show they are inferior and not of equal class. That harm and torture is racist to me. And that’s the reason why I said a bad person can be racist if given the chance, but at the moment the person is only displaying bad vibes. Na wa for you o. You're writing as if you were born in the UK? Racism is a word that has become entrenched, and you cannot erase it as you have written. Just be yourself, and try to be a shoulder for anyone who brings it up to you. The fact that you haven't come across it doesn't mean it doesn't exist. |

As far as men can love or even do rubbish in their marriage, as a woman too you also have feelings. Maybe you need to try and open more communication with your husband. Find what the two of you love and flee away from evil. You are human and it bounds to happen. |

Alexia20: I just enter UK this week with skilled visa and I will need to resume at my new work place by Monday next week however my BRP is still not ready for collection at the post office . IS BRP compulsory to resume work and what other options I have as I am eager to start work ASAP.and what about access to health and bank acct opening ,will I need brp as well to do this. It depends on your organization but I believe you may need to initiate prove your right to work to your employer using your BRP. The code will be shared to your employer. For bank, if you are in Scotland, Bank of Scotland is easier and straight forward but you need address. For access to health, you may search for closest hospital or health center to you and book appointment as a new patient. They may likely send you a form online to fill. |

Lexusgs430: Another real UK life story...... People think I have sense, so I get involved in mediations.......
Wife got approved for student visa, husband applied for dependent Visa (both granted).......
Wife got family members already based in the UK, prior to husband's visa application, he was briefed by her family, that he would need to work to support wife, during her courses (she can't work and pay fees with 20 hours work)......
Husband agreed, carry all for chest like tortoise... Wife started displaying negative attitude towards her husband, months after arrival (he already slaved, paid all her fees, feeding, accommodation) etc etc .......
For almost a year, he never saw his wife, like Adam saw eve, after eating that apple (he still carried on footing her bills)..... Loyal husband.......
Now wife is saying, she is no longer interested in the marriage.........
I have tried to only drop a summary..........
LONG AND SHORT...... YOU MIGHT THINK YOU ARE MARRIED, BUT SHE/HE IS NOT MARRIED ...... |

The tech job I applied for was in a small town in Scotland. I have been applying for a long time, but for that, I was called for an interview and went through the process. The rest, they said, is history. |
