After about 3 weeks since you paid for a service with apple wallet, can you switch the card you paid with? I think it is similar but better than apple wallet
Maybe, I don't really get it but what I use apple wallet for is just to add my Virtual card, train card or anything and with that I use it to pay for whatever I want.

It's an app that acts like a wallet for all your bank cards. It makes it easier for you to switch cards and payments. It's also serves as a layer of protection for your payment card information. Google to read more.
Is this not same function like apple wallet?

Public health is quite difficult to practice in the UK if you do not have a Medical degree. The role she is qualified for depends on what experience and what other qualifications she has.

If she has experience working in the hospital in a care role, then she can go for healthcare assistant/social worker jobs
Okay. Thank you. Presently she works for WHO as a contract in Nigeria by supervising people giving immunization in local town. I will make more research. Thanks for your insight

However I’m keen to learn tips to avoid them being influenced by peers to learn bad behaviour etc. for now i just threaten them lol . Any body with tips?
Is this a new movie? Where can I watch? On Netflix?

Sorry for the misunderstanding. I thought it was those kind cctv cameras found in supermarkets and the likes.

Since you're feeling insecure, start looking for another house, not easy but you'll eventually get and I believe you're in a good position to terminate your contract without penalties since the agent is aware of the security concerns there.
Looking for another house already. If possible na to buy house but I heard that if you have not stayed up to 3 month in the UK the deposit is usually high like 30%. That’s what my bank told me sha. Anyways, the process is ON

In my opinion na you find trouble o. You just sidan go buy camera for compound that is not your private property. Legally before recording any body or the activities of any body, you should seek their consent and they should agree. That you want to be seeing your deliveries and camera face your door is not tenable. If you feel unsecure, report to the authorities or vacate the premises. It's not up to you to investigate (in pretence), if you decide to take investigations into your hands, be discrete about it.[/quote]Na wa for you @ the bolded o. The way you conclude on this en. I didn’t find trouble. The camera only see people that comes in front of my door alone for delivery or myself alone. It’s a bell ring. No trouble found and I also have the evidence of where my camera was situated. This is just a door bell and not any cctv kind off. Anyways, what’s done is done. I have made use of advice I needed from the first response . Thank you

I will advice you to move immediately, and change your address on banks/mobile/NI etc.

Calling police might call for retaliation, in addition police for this country na catch and release, they might come for a drug bust and not find any drugs as some of these guys can be Walter White.

And they might suspect you.

Please don't look at the short term financial impact of moving.

Try to move with friends/church/mosque etc.

Na only one life we get oh.

What area are you residing please.

I am not trying to scare you but there are lots of knifes on the street
Glasgow. A small county in Glasgow. I have called already. Well, it is what it is. Why would they remove my camera in the first place. And also, note that I didn’t mention any activities anyone is doing. I just reported about my stolen camera. It’s not my concern on whatever anyone is doing

My people, please make una help me too. I have not even spent one month in the UK, and I was advised to call the police.

I moved to this house recently, and since I came in, I noticed an influx of people besides my flats. Some guys are there selling drugs, but it's not my concern. A council lady came and dropped her card. She requested I call her, which I did, and she asked if I had noticed any strange activities in the house, but I answered NO that what I saw was the untidiness around the stairs. Because I feel she may even be working with them.
So last week, I bought a camera always to see the people dropping my packages and ensure we are at least secure. I didn't face the camera towards the step but just opposite my door. This evening I came back from work, lo and beheld the camera was expunged. I quickly called the agent, and she told me the Council is actually on the matter of that house that I should calm down, and she will get back to me. She call me back that I should inform the police. Now my question is, I am scared to start calling the police—something I have never done in my life, even when in Nigeria. I am scared. What do you think I should do? Call the police or hold on?

All this applies to England and Wales. In Scotland, you can skip the survey part as a home valuation pack is always included from the get go and solicitors also handle the negotiation process.
Thank you so much!

Speaking from personal experience, most times speech delay is an underlying indicator to ASD or other social communication disorders. The earlier one gets a diagnosis, the better and quicker things fall in place.
I’ll advise the parent to get the child into school or nursery asap so that necessary referral could be made and the child could be put on waiting list for therapy, although its a very long waiting but you’ll get necessary support while on the waiting list. Going private is not cheap and I remember being quoted £1600 just for assessment.
Note that your GP can also do the referral but it’s quicker when it’s from an educational setting.
Mine has gone through the necessary diagnosis in US before coming back to Nigeria. I have been on this a while. May God help all mothers.

Personally, if you can afford it. Avoid flats if you have small kids. Neighbours can be nosy + kids can be very noisy. So if you get bad neighbors it will be a constant tug of war. Thank God you guys escaped without issue.

There’s a current case now trending in Sheffield where social workers have taken away a couples 2 kids and there’s the threat that her unborn child will be taken too! Have you guys heard about it? The story is too long but so sad.
It is well. I am presently in a flat because I feel is the fastest and cheapest to get as a new comer. Please when can one start looking to buy a house after arriving. Tier2 visa. 1month, 3months or ....

I can speak to what the situation was with a relation's child in England.
The child had speech delay and he (for some reason it mainly seems to be male children?) was assessed by a HV and referred for speech therapy.

There was (and that seems to also be somewhat common) a very long waiting list for the council service and at some point my cousin made queries and was told that she could explore the private option if she wished. Prices were very high, but she paid for an assessment and got a twice-weekly hourly slot for which I think she was paying in the region of 150 or so (I'm not very sure). They were able to cover the costs (her husband is a doctor) and this was a while ago when exchange rates were still manageable.

I don't know if the council later reimbursed her.
Thank you. I will work towards making enquiry and choose the best. Presently , the child is undergoing a good one in Nigeria and I want to see changes till end of year before bringing her here. Presently paying 200k for 9 times a month for 2 hrs in Nigeria. It is well

You don't need to wait for council for the kids to start School. Once the kids are registered with a GP and you have atleast another proof of address i.e. tenant agreement, energy bills, you can use those two documents in a school application for your kids. Anyway that's how it works in England and may be slightly different from Scotland.
Yeah. I have all those documents.... I will register them once they are fully back here.

You mean confirmation by getting the NHS number?...... is that what you mean by council yet to verify
I was able to register successfully at hospital with the kids. When they come back I will find time to register them with dental

On my council tax dashboard, it still shows unverified. I am worried because I need to start paying council tax then register the kids for the next term. Also, I would try and get their email then send a direct mail to them.

See attached

Welcome to Scotland.

I’ve never heard of council verification of address? Plus why are you trying to verify your Nigerian address? I’m a bit confused.

Just call or email the council about your kids. They will tell you the next steps to take and forms to fill to get you sorted.

I don’t think you will need to pay for speech therapy. If they assess your child and it’s required you should be supported foc. Don’t worry.
I registered on council site and up till now no news from them. On my profile it still shows unverified.

There is a link to verify who you are and an application called Yoti on the site. I actually don’t understand too but I followed the step and it didn’t work out

I am almost a month in my house now and I am expecting council tax but after the email about registration I have not gotten any information from them.

Thank you mama
