Giddyperson: I just saw this little mortar on Jumia, maybe I'd hold on until I order it, I also saw the hand blender, the little ones sold for 1k ish. I think I'd just go with the mortar cuz it's easier to sterilize plus those hand blenders are not strong at all. Anyway until then, avacado would hold on cuz my spoon is just not cutting it, literally You use fork to mash mama!!! Not spoon. Spoon is to scoop it out then fork is to mash |

Giddyperson: choi I tried to wash with a spoon but it's not just working at all. Can I blend Blend avocado?!!! No now but if you have hand blender you MAY use. Pawpaw... blend with hand blender, banana and all other fruit too because I also find it not smooth when I mashed my banana with fork so I use hand blender |

hunniesuzie: So Bobo has Malaria and infection. And we were given meds including Lonart 20/120. That's how they said I should give him 14 mls a day AT ONCE!!!! I asked like 4 times, babe who dispensed the drugs said it's correct. I checked the leaflet in the box, it says 5ml in the morning, 5 in the evening which makes more sense to me. Mamas who know pls advise. My baby is 7 months plus and 9.5kg
Thanks Giddyperson, finally left after raking at past 1, he's kuku scattering everywhere, my baby's habit of falling sick with no fever or loss of appetite sef is a bit disconcerting
Cc enque, soonest (read you're a pharmacist), zaynie, Akorkor, jazzyjazz, iomoge2 and all mamas online. Waiting for feedback before I give him edakun I think 14ml is too much for once. Let him take it 5ml, morning and evening. I think that would be better tha 14ml once. Also, most of the time we need to follow our instinct in giving drugs to our LOs. Some of this pharmacist just dey prescribe anyhow. All the best moma |

J0hnTrevolt: Hello great mamas. This forum has really assisted me a lot in my times of need. I hardly comment here cos its mostly women affairs stuff. Lol. Know it that we truly appreciate u mothers of our little ones.
Back to my issue. After the birth of my baby a year now, my wife keep complaining that one of her breast is far bigger than the other and this is quite true. She's really worried. I'v told her to calm down that it cud be as a result of breastfeeding tho I dnt know. Plz mamas, is this normal? Will this normalize? She blames d baby so much for this. This our first baby. Tnx as I await ur response. She shouldn't blame baby now. Haba!!!! One breast is always bigger than the other and even my left is bigger than my right breast. So no issue on that. Tell her if she's really worried she should go see a doctor to calm her down. Your wife should not play a blame game on innocent child oo Biko. Good morning everyone, how's the weekend going |

pheesayor: I was thinking about my daughter and then I remembered she clocked ine and I didn't announce it here, apologies. My baby Ebunoluwa that had jaundice at birth and I got advices here was a year old on 16th September (about 18 days ago), how time flies The past one year has been a very interesting one, few weeks to her birthday she started having temperature we used teething solutions back and forth no show. We suspected malaria so we gave her anti malaria which she took but serious cough and cold won't let her be so we saw a nurse who prescribed antibiotics and ibuprofen, after this her health improved tremendously and we had a sickness-free birthday.
I said here months ago she refused baby food, till this day the only milk she takes is breast milk, anything that looks like liquid she won't take, only water and juice. Last night I tried tea before deciding to buy her own milk, she refused. Last week I tried hollandia yoghurt she refused and you dare not force anything down her throat (not even drugs), she will spill it out or coughs till she vomits it. I don't know who else has experienced this with babies.
She gradually stopped crawling towards her first birthday and now walks but staggers a lot. She likes noodles a lot but is getting to like bread as well, I don't know if this is okay for her system at her age, she eats every other thing she sees me eating.
Kudos to all the mothers here doing great jobs, I'm the father but I feel the heat a lot as well
Ebunoluwa says hi to you all, especially helovesme Awww!!! God bless her. Happy belated birthday to her and she's also my birthday mate. Congrats |

Please what can i take or eat to boost my breast milk production Drink more water when thirsty. Pap, tea e.t.c I stopped carrying breastmilk to baby crèche at 9 month sharp and I usually give her at least 15-16ounce everyday to school. So I believe you can do it.
