You use fork to mash mama!!! Not spoon. Spoon is to scoop it out then fork is to mash

Pawpaw... blend with hand blender, banana and all other fruit too because I also find it not smooth when I mashed my banana with fork so I use hand blender

No boiling of avocado please. Just scoop out and mash
You can also try pawpaw from seven month!!!

So Bobo has Malaria and infection. And we were given meds including Lonart 20/120. That's how they said I should give him 14 mls a day AT ONCE!!!! I asked like 4 times, babe who dispensed the drugs said it's correct. I checked the leaflet in the box, it says 5ml in the morning, 5 in the evening which makes more sense to me. I think 14ml is too much for once. Let him take it 5ml, morning and evening. I think that would be better tha 14ml once. Also, most of the time we need to follow our instinct in giving drugs to our LOs. Some of this pharmacist just dey prescribe anyhow. All the best moma

Ours was dust and allergy
Antibiotics and drugs didnt work as it was coming back after one week
But as soon as d doctor made us check for dust (ie remove rug)
Also stopped flit (sheltux) we resulted to mosquito net
Then we also avioded any cough triggers
We have been fine since then

We used the palm oil n ori stuff to treat
But what i stated above was preventive for us

Groundnut: slightly fry without oil, remove d peel pepper: either dry pepper or blended pepper
Crayfish
Stock, dry or frozen fish or all (optional)
Meat, assorted meat,chicken or turkey or all (optional)
Pomo
Lil or no oil
Seasoning as u desire
Ugwu or bitterleaf (optional)
Salt is not compulsory ma
Water quantity depend on gnut quantity and d thickness

Preparation

Blend the ground nut like ogbono
Pour in ur mende mende inside pot,pepper and season as u desire pour little oil and cook, then add the peanut gradually add the leaf u are using, let it cook till its done
1milk cup of gnut can serve 7-8 pple depending on the thickness it can serve more

Hello mamas in the house, biko how do u get rid of baby's stubborn milk stain in there tongue (my baby ia almost 2 months). I use wash cloth and dip in water to clean d tongue gently but it is still there. Pls help a first time mum.

She shouldn't blame baby now. Haba!!!! One breast is always bigger than the other and even my left is bigger than my right breast. So no issue on that. Tell her if she's really worried she should go see a doctor to calm her down. Your wife should not play a blame game on innocent child oo Biko.

Well I don't know what to say to this but I have been consuming any tea even Nescafé sef but in a minimal amount. What I do is if I take coffee I won't breastfeed for like 5hrs so that I would have pee it out bfor given baby breast.

Was using coconut oil for cream and dove to bath before but meh!!! My baby body turn black and face come yellow. Becos I have never applied cream to her face before so the yellow is intact.
To cut the story short, am using Aveeno soap and cream and it seems working well for her body. At least the skin is balancing with face color

Not any food please.... We have talked and talked about food on this forum to give but am not voting for 4 month to be given solid but some mama did it and it worked well for them so you can go for cereals that it's written 4+ on it. All the best!!!

My baby Ebunoluwa that had jaundice at birth and I got advices here was a year old on 16th September (about 18 days ago), how time flies
The past one year has been a very interesting one, few weeks to her birthday she started having temperature we used teething solutions back and forth no show. We suspected malaria so we gave her anti malaria which she took but serious cough and cold won't let her be so we saw a nurse who prescribed antibiotics and ibuprofen, after this her health improved tremendously and we had a sickness-free birthday.

I said here months ago she refused baby food, till this day the only milk she takes is breast milk, anything that looks like liquid she won't take, only water and juice. Last night I tried tea before deciding to buy her own milk, she refused. Last week I tried hollandia yoghurt she refused and you dare not force anything down her throat (not even drugs), she will spill it out or coughs till she vomits it. I don't know who else has experienced this with babies.

She gradually stopped crawling towards her first birthday and now walks but staggers a lot. She likes noodles a lot but is getting to like bread as well, I don't know if this is okay for her system at her age, she eats every other thing she sees me eating.

Kudos to all the mothers here doing great jobs, I'm the father but I feel the heat a lot as well

I officially stopped at 6weeks but my mom still makes me drink it whenever she is around. She says I have to drink it till 6months . I'm 12weeks pp.

Also, apart from baby cereals, what else can i feed my baby once she clocks four months? Can she take pureed fruits? Egg yolks? What other foods? I want to be prepared for when i go back to work so I want to start putting things in place now.

Finally, when is the max time a baby can take rotavirus? My hospital keeps saying they don't have it available for now (HMO tinzz). She is already 12weeks old. @queensnow and @kathycouture when you bought the vaccine, did you administer it yourselves or took it to a hospital to have it administered? Mama also @queensnow please release the secret to having twins Na. I don't mind only one more missionary journey.

Mama!!! Take a deep breath!!! Why the rush if I may ask... All our children will achieve their milestone with patience if you ask me. Try sitting her down from four months. For baby cereal i will advise you to start from 6 month because at less than 4 month their immune system is still getting stronger #Myownviewplease. For hair, try and make her hair from 5 month up but not too tight. All the best dear

Back to your question, Change the diaper you are using because some mama have testified here that huggies cause rashes. You can buy Nigeria Pampers because i thing it work well for me oooo. Also, i use A+D rash cream whether baby has or not and i have never experienced any form of rashes on my baby bum. It is well

I stopped carrying breastmilk to baby crèche at 9 month sharp and I usually give her at least 15-16ounce everyday to school. So I believe you can do it. I have also once explained on this forum how I achieved that.

My ds has stooled 3 times this morning (she is 9months 2wks old)
First at 3am n the other 2 were after breastfeeding and a formula feed.
No temperature but she is clingy.

We r on our way to the hospital now.

What else can I do? The owner of her creche said we should hold off on milk for today n preferably give her cerelac Rice only for now.

Google says BRAT diet (bread, rice, applesauce, toast bread) for now.
