More like poetry than prose. |
darkenedrebel:I have read it. |
Maintaining an eye contact shouldn't be a problem especially when you are confident even as an introvert. I make an effort to make eye contact once I am conversing though not all through it. I had such experience today though the person is a friend. I like taking up this challenge even when meeting somebody for the first time as it projects confidence and I don't think there is anybody that don't like a confident person. |
Cultureclub1983 you spot on with your argument. I just hope Flakkydagirl will take the advice you have given. |
I vote Vizkiz.

With the queen's endorsement who can go against it. Every crop has different specie, the only thing that stops it from being accepted in the mainstream may just be based on popularity of the vine tomato. No harm in trying though and thanks to the Op for his incisive commentary. |
This is to Olarewajub to GloryIssac. Talking about personality test, I have used Tim Lahaye's ideas as presented in his books ' Opposite attract' and ' Why you act the way you do'. I appreciate the ideas expressed in the post above but I think it is too scientific to require my reading pleasure. The eye-contact assignment is okay but I think there have no feedback because most of the participants in this thread have not achieved that feeling of community but I believe other ideas can help to foster cooperation. Well done to both of you. |
How beautifully constructed this is. I love this tale and its moral lessons. More grace to your vision. |
Olarewajub:I perfectly understand your concern about whatsapp group as most times it suddenly becomes redundant. This is based on my experience but lets see what useful idea others might bring. Between lets do something that we make this thread more fun. |
Whatsapp group might just be a good idea. Though it may likely lead to the fear that we will abandon this thread but I think it will foster a sense of community. |
The play 'Death and the King's Horseman' was quoted as one of his unique literary works during the presentation. |

Cool and Beautiful. |
CuteCeo:Its time you up your game then. I have been in this and still trying to wriggle myself out of it. One major thing that encourages this feeling is being shy or not confident of yourself. Address that which is restricting you and just face up to them. The girls like being talked to. |
It is simply referred to as adaptation and it is a recognized practice. |
Bro..you spot on. One major cause is Ignorance, apart from that of poverty the rest could have been avoided to an extent. It is a menace and this just a form of partnership as it exist abroad. |
Fine advice though it was almost controversial at first. This will only ensure that their companionship stay strong all through the marriage. |
Beautiful and crisp narrative. I am enjoying this. |
More like formal English words turned to slangs. |
Let's watch out then. |
Thanks for sharing. |
Happy Sunday all...being an introvert should not lead you to seclusion. Seriously anyone can be a leader. What can dampen the extraordinary potential of an introvert if you are not willing to meet others of other temperament. Don't elevate self above community. |
jacy67:Hi...I do post now and then on fb but that isn't frequent either. Fb post are mainly those things that are personal to us and at the same time relevant to others. So its a matter of what you believe in and how much you want to share, it could be weird or quirky but don't deny that motivation to share. And please forget any idea of being snubbed. |
A simple question: Are you craving for perfection in every write-up? The only antedote to your predicament is to write. You can also enlist the help of any writer just as the poster above has said. |
Fine writer and I totally enjoyed his village themed stories. |
For a first time writer you did okay...your words are apt and beautiful and I must commend you. Also work on your tenses as there are cases of wrong uses. Do make you use Isoko. |
I vote Refiner.

Two months since your last update and you came up with this, well just try doing your best. One major flaw is over description which is almost dampening the essence of this story. I must say that your story is quite interesting but let your words speak action. I hope I gave advice not criticism. |
Cool and beautiful narrative I must say. Your characterization is quite apt and revealing. Well done Chistar. |
Cool updates. Jacob is just one straight character who is unable to belittle his fears and weakness. Cooperation and understanding is all that is needed to make marriage work. For all her supposed sins, Toun got my sympathy. Good job writer but mind your tenses and narrative mode. |
I join Donoms to say that introverts are great thinkers hence it would be a disaster to let our personal ideal or fears get in the way of communicating with others. |
