Literally and painfully true. A whole book choked up in few words, just keep on doing your best. |
My thoughts on a core characteristic of an introvert is the fact that we watch out for ourselves all too often hence we are quick to analyse our wrongs and thus we end up being our harshest critic. Unfortunately, for those who have not come to familiarity with this ominous feeling tend to withdraw from public events. That is rather unfortunate because introverts are remarkably intelligent and tend to provide useful answers. Hence why we may not be wired to over expression, we should be able to curb our fears and overbearing character trait for us to express ourselves. |
This writeup is fine and practical especially as it relates to our locality. The fact that you discussed Nigerian languages got me excited as our languages are gradually losing its influence among the young people. I will ensure to check this thread frequently. |
Your course and its opportunities may be vague especially without a suitable mentor. If you can find a place that will ensure you gain valuable experience, you will indeed find your place. No course especially yours is unimportant. |
Good genes no doubt...she isn't so far in age count for her not to be as young as she looks. |
Got lot of guys who love this man very much, its act of building confidence in team was what attracted me to Chelsea. Most of the reasons you gave are spot on and no 8 just confirms my personal opinion of his management style. |
Will just be willing to join in this discussion. |
Nigeria is like a burden bearer and its mostly at the receiving end of our failures. There is definitely nothing wrong with the name or its referent, its just that the people are struggling to see it in a good light. |
Pleasant surprise and a fine story. Sir, there are some errors like 'tears flowing down her eyes rather than face. |
I wonder who is the second team apart from Arsenal. Apart from Uefa competition, the competition in the premier league rocks. I can't even imagine a Malaga topping the Spanish La Liga. |
And is Biafra going to be an easy place for the minority ethnic groups in the South-south. Biafra is a lie. |
The tit-bit on Dolph Lundberg and the kid that started behaving like Chimp got me laughing. Nice one OP. |
Extremely taken by your weaving of words to form a fine description. But seriously the use of characters and their acts are quite confusing and also as one earlier said, conversations? Anyway maybe this is not one that allows dialogue. Just keep on with your art. |
Mou's attitude is a ticking time bomb. |
The pathetic state of Chelsea can Men lets hope this gloom leaves Chelsea as soon as possible. UP CHELSEA!!! |
Almost a year after the last update. Love the drama and theme to an extent. |
Well done Op. The length of your story has gone beyond flash fiction which I believe pride itself on qualities of being concise and brief. I must appreciate your art in terms of describing the setting and character but sentence structure must be defined no matter how experimental you want your work to be. |
Very pathetic and almost a case of anarchy. |
Very good and timeless. Following... |
Civory:I will be interested in receiving some information from you. |
You nailed it. For every one who claim to be a writer and does not concur with at least five of these, I'd doubt that person. Writing though is dreamlike. |
Having read through the recent updates, I must confess that your plot is quite good. Unfortunately too many grammatical errors prove to be the most noticeable problem. Do well to revise and make necessary corrections. A careful look at the form and arrangement of events will confirm this piece as a thriller. |
Op your examples got me thinking. You are spot on with the fact that our tailors are good with sewing. The rice issue is more about publicity and government help. I have not seen the locally made rice yet. The West clearly depicts the kind of life we aspire to live especially in terms of infrastructure and the organised structure of their society. The closest way is to get our hands on some of those things associated with them. Our obsession with the Whites will stop as soon as we get to cherish our culture, values and abilities. |
Just can say more than the fact that this story is told in a refreshing manner. Your plot and setting is incredible and can't wait to read the remaining part. Quite flawless in terms of narration but your prologue really had some poor sentence construction. But you are doing great. |
You are a fine writer and your use of adjectives make every update worth reading. Hoping for a positive realistic ending. |
Well done writer...each update has an interesting touch to it. Toun is an intriguing character who I can describe as the most impressive among them all. You should consider putting this up for a screen work. I feel the pain of Cynthia, what people take for granted in relationship with the other are actually the death knell. |
Op you have done justice to this sickening trend. The fact that we are having more of obscene lyrics is quite depressing. Things just have to change especially in SW or kids armed with the language will cause negative things to happen. |
A good story and worth the time. Well done. |
Drummer boy, short but beautiful prose. Charted a path that is still well travelled. |
Enjoying this piece of art...but take it easy on words usage so as not to sound blurry and confusing. I also feel you should go over the work as there are examples of weak sentence construction. Also you really good a nice story line. |
Hustlers know no restraint. It looks as if wartorn Ukraine is a better place for them than Nigeria. |
