Meddler: definitely! u will need a large pot that covers well and won't let any heat escape. I'm guessing you use gas stove. Set on medium high heat. it might take a couple tries to get the heat at the correct setting. But medium high shud be OK. cover the bottom of the pot with salt and place stones in the pot to set ure cake pan that way u prevent the bottom of ure cake burning. below is a pic of a cake I baked in a pot.
