I bought the Vitamix a3500. It came yesterday, right from their headquarters in Ohio. I'm excited about all the cool, healthy stuff I'll make with it. I'm yet to open it; I've been staring at the box in awe and prolonging my excitement for a bit before I open it. 😂😁
Congratulations

You guys are taking this cooking and food photography too serious 🥰👏👏

I really respect and commend what you guys are doing.

@Gboye.gaD, you're also doing well.

And to every other contributor, I'm learning from you all especially the men. Kudos to the women as well (yours is natural that you can cook) hence, I had to praise the guys because, I'm a guy and still struggle with simple dishes.
Thank you boss 😊

Juice was made with plenty pineapple, cloves, sweet basil and Malabar spinach from my garden

Akposy, you see that pineapple rice ehn, it is one recipe I don't think I'd be willing to try any time soon. 😀

For some reason, rice and pineapple just do not go together in my head. 😩
I quite agree. This was why I was procrastinating. I couldn’t imagine rice with pineapple! What I did was add habanero and reduce the quantity of pineapple to make the rice spicy and less sweet/tarty
FoodRe: Cook In Your Kitchen, Take Pictures And Post It Here. SIMPLE! by Akposy(m): 2:07pm On Feb 05, 2023
I made pineapple fried rice after months of procrastinating.

I’m not really a fan of pineapple 🍍 but my friends said they loved it.
Second pic was shot under direct sunlight

Akposy, this your chocolate cake looks deliciously dark, rich and moist. Oh my gawd! Me likey! 😍

What brand of cocoa powder did you use?
My (almost used to be) favourite brand is falling hand lately.
It is one local unsweetened one I bought here. There’s no name.

I frosted some with chocolate buttercream and drizzled with melted chocolate

Moist Bailey Chocolate Cake.

The combo of the Irish cream, dark coffee and chocolate used gave it a unique taste.

I decorated it into a smash cake 😃

This one is dedicated to MariahAngel

I need to remake this for breakfast snacking

@Chef Akposy, I learnt you into farming. My little inquiry is this: I wanna have strawberry and Blueberry plants.

How do I go about it, the soil to use, nursery stages and the likes. Can you throw more light regarding this request. Thanks
Strawberry seedlings starts from 500 - 2000 naira per each; depending on the age of the plant.

I think Blueberry seedlings costs about 3000 and above.

Blueberry may take a year or two to fruit. Strawberries fruits within 3 months. It depends on the type bought and other factors (soil, weather, etc)

Soil to use is well drained, loam soil

Salmon is sold in Nigeria, it's just that it's expensive probably due to exchange rate and duty fees the importers pay on it. It's usually available at SPAR and shoprite.
Kweke o. Haaa! This is crazily expensive.

Akposy, I would love for you to try it. I know you've been wanting to try it for long. I'm pretty sure it's sold in Nigeria. No?
I have not seen it in this city though. A seller said it is super expensive so the market is poor
