I have grown tired of all these sweet words that neither were it honoured by the lawful constituted agencies nor the outlaws that regarded it as a stanza from the national anthem that they hear daily. |
Some of our leaders talk before reasoning. Anyone defending a stubborn child is certainly not helping that child in the long run. |
It makes no sense to me that a man should kneel down to propose for a lady. What do you think you are doing. Whose culture is that. Certainly not in our culture. The question is who does marriage benefit most. The children will grow up to place their mother far above their father. If you are a rich man, it's a different ball all together |
I readily watch films that these two young men were involved. |
Given religion too much attention. Religion suppose to be personal. If we are so religious why all these crimes from all corners of Nigeria. Rather than move forward, we are busy interpreting religious books east, west ,north and south and end up relying on countries that don't give a dam about religion for our day to day living |
Let the government gives honour to any Nigerian who deserves such irrespective of his or her political beliefs and from any part of the country. |
Nigerians forget easily. Do we have any regard for the Constitution? What about cross carpeting of politicians. There are genuine situations for cross carpeting but what is happening these days is disgusting. Come to think of it, who is to be blamed the authority that submits the name without regards to the Constitution or the authority that (rejects??) it. By the way, there are politicians that have no regard to the Constitution that they are there to protect in the first place, rather they protect personalities and the party. This applies to all political parties that found their members in the NASS. Regrettable. |
Wishing the fmly all the best. At 65 its an achievement sincerely. |
So long as the FG will continue to pay salary arrears to striking ASSU or other government employees so long will these associations will easily embark on strike. They never lose, they never work for the period they're on strike and yet they are paid. Then where's the deterrent. It seems they eat their cake and have it at the same time.Win win all the way. |
He has stated the reason he joined the ruling party. Afraid of EFCC. |
The situation looks like someone taming a lion's cub without adequate provision for his safety. Almost every year ASSU embarked on strike for one reason or the other but mostly on their personal welfare. Does it mean that the employer has no adequate provision to curb it's employees. Rather unfortunate. |
I doubt very much if this assistant has extended family. |
They alway deny such move only to shamelessly do exactly that. It shows how these politicians value the electorate. If this trend is not checked, this country will one day see a sitting president decamping to another political party other than the one that brought him or her to power. |
It only goes to show that we have no principled politicians in our politiks. All these elected politicians crossing from one party to the other clearly amplified the word PRINCIPLE in this context. While it benefits the receiving party of these unprincipled politicians, the power that be must put a stop to these primary school children behavior of our elected leaders. The parties will also stop these behaviors by refusing platform for any defecting politicians especially those already elected. Defection should be before being elected. The country should discourage this childish behavior of our politicians. |
The best of a leader in a given situation might be the worst of a leader to sections of a country in a given society. Wars are fought due to conflicts that the aggrieved parties felt cheated. History if not properly informed could be distorted and the truth hidden which could formed a different opinion. Hitler was still regarded by some section of Germany as a hero and there is nothing anyone can do about it. Actions produced reactions. What matters most is acknowledgement that some wrongs have been committed and that two wrongs never make a right. At times it's necessary to fight but then what brought the fight. That's the Crux of the matter. Children born in 1966 rely heavily in history as told by their parents or matured minds then. Reactions depend very much on the accuracy of the story |
One would have been amused by this revelation, but our media are also Nigerians. Half truth, pure lies, fabrication of stories etc. Well, the EFCC is not disbanded like SARS and l believe the organization might swing to action if there's any iota of truth in this investigative journalism |
What a confused nation. So after all what an employee needs to do is to twist the arm of the employer and things work in the employee's favour. A weird way of goverance. |
I doubt very much if the ruling party would have accepted this nomination if they were in opposition. What's happening to our country. Possibly she might be a namesake of the SSA. In that case, no problem. |
So this marriage news involving these two personalities is fake. What!!! |
These people are embolden to threat anyone since it's paying off. Even the nairaland demands oat to comment on a certain religious issues. Enforcement of personal law by violence. |
Since no human being can live in isolation, it behoves on us to tell each other what we thought of each other positivey or negatively without any sense of enforcement whatsoever. |
Rather than advertising this security outfit, the authority that be should have kept it secret and this will enable the security personnel to apprehend these criminals quietly. The awareness for social or political reasons may sound alright, but the aim must not be 'wounded' |
A very convenient way to explain the shortages which we have experienced all along |
Right from the word go, if elections are properly conducted by the umpire saddled with the responsibility and the law enforcement agency following the rules with unbiased mind the judiciary will be faraway from the elections matters. As it is now, elections are not valid until the judiciary pronoucation. |
The governor joining the queue is a symbolic gesture to the masses to always follow the queue in any public activities. We should learn to appreciate meaniful gestures and stop insulting or using abusive languages all the time |
Chameleon changes its color easily and adapt to the current environment without consequences. Just natural. If this statement makes any sense then conclude. |
Should in case you are looking for double barrel mouth, check an average politician. In the days leading to an election, you will understand that politicians believed the voters have no sense of reasoning. |
There's always two sides to a coin and the dead stayed dumb. Maybe his will might put some light in the tunnel |
Our religious leaders at times behave like children of wealthy family who while basking on the family wealth, believed that they are untouchable. Of course to some extent, yes, but power is always greater than wealth especially state powers backed by statue law |
Some women prematurely go into menupause. Could it be the case with your better half. Menupause causes a lot of problems to a woman including sudden loss of interest in sex. The family doctor might be of help. |
It's my candid believe that the beauty and elegance of the mosque is for human comfort. Any place of worship of whatever religious callings is purely for human comfort. This country will move forward just like any of these advance countries when we stop deceiving ourselves. |
If you state that fasting is a form of hobby or self imposed or on doctors advise, l will agree with you. Other than that, ljust believe you're punishing your stomach while diligently saving the Naira. |
