Government schools in Aba are on holiday today. I can't say who declared it but it may be connected to the IPOB declaration. Apart that, the area is calm. Street boys are playing football. God bless Nigeria.
Business / Re: Gtbank Apologizes To Customers Over Network Failure by akwaowoudo(m): 10:27pm On Oct 05, 2017
A transfer transaction was made on Wednesday via UBA to Fidelity Bank and till now, no alert or cash seen in Fidelity Bank account but alert received by the sender from UBA. Is it still network failure?
Politics / Re: Wike: Security Agencies May Arrest Me Soon by akwaowoudo(m): 4:56pm On Nov 12, 2016
Pipe dreams! Whatever ill the APC led government does to the PDP isn't perfected. Reason: PDP as the master then taught APC how to do it. I remember how Wike as minister then conived with Mr. Mbu, then commissioner of police in Rivers state on the instructions of Patience Jonathan to dehumanize Rotimi Amaechi, then governor of Rivers state not minding Amaechi's immunity. Time flies!

I would remain speechless until supreme court verdicts on Kogi Gubanetorial poll.
Reason is simple: Supreme court of Nigeria has a different law book. Ask Nyesom Wike and Udom Emmanuel of Rivers and Akwa Ibom State.
Politics / Re: Send Mbaka To Sambisa If He Complains Again-abati by akwaowoudo(m): 6:36am On Feb 07, 2016
“Let him therefore, suffer if he must, and let his suffering be a blessing upon the poor and the Church, and if he as much as whimpers again, let him be posted post-haste to Sambisa forest, where the poor are in urgent need of miracles.”
For the above words to come from Reuben Abati, it means that Mbaka's transfer has a political base; and this is wrong.

Thanks to God Almighty for the protection. Thanks to Water Survival Training. The passengers on board were good at displaying what they were taught at their various water survival training.

A presidential special task force should be setup to ensure that the corpse is actually that of his and not an effigy. They should ensure that there's no go.of device in the coffin we don't want ressurection stories.
He deserves to have his face on Nigeria's currency. We Nigerians are noted for whom we are. Hate it, like it. Remember, he as a Nigerian escaped the metropolitan police. A rare feat. He beautified our green white green flag, oh! Yes, wail not, except we change completely.

What do you even mean?

Can APC do 1/4 of what Akpabio did for Akwa Ibom? This is politics at state level not federal, don't know how that relates to losing the presidency.

I can see you're a hypocrite. It's PDP and it has suddenly become a brand of idiocy, for the highlighted, please provide evidence where you cautioned APC for doing the same in Rivers State few weeks ago.
What did Akpabio do for Akwa Ibom?

I WONDER HOW EDO STATE ELECTION IN THE COMING MONTHS IS GOING TO LOOK LIKE.

Remember, stealing is not corruption says PDP.

Akwa Ibom assembly elects new speaker

Vanguard News

The Akwa Ibom House of Assembly on Monday elected Mr Onofiok Luke as its new Speaker. Luke, who represents Nsit Ubium constituency emerged as Speaker following the nullification of the election of the former Speaker, Aniekan Uko. The Appeal Court Tribunal sitting in Abuja had last week nullified the election of the former speaker.

Luke was nominated by Nse Essien, member representing Onna and seconded by Mark Esset, member representing Nsit Atai. The Clerk of the House, Mrs Mandu Umoren, administered the oath of office on the new speaker.

In his acceptance speech, Luke promised to work with the executive to bring development to the state and ensure that the dividends of democracy reached the grassroots. The new speaker said he would operate an open door policy and continue from where the former speaker stopped as the House adjourned sittings to Tuesday, Dec. 22.

I have been wondering why David Mark has been quiet.

The body language and body odour of the Government, had given him the hint that he will be kicked out of the Senate.

About time this man retires. This guy was so corrupt, he mistakenly employed his own son (5) times, as his personal assistant, and the spoilt brat was getting paid 5 times by the Senate.

Away with this man. He did not contribute anything meaningful to Benue, he sure did not contribute anything meaningful to Nigeria.

His political career is set to be destroyed. Else, he will have a good shot at the 2019 presidential election.

Next in line is Sen. Godswill Akpabio.

May their political career rest in peace.

Do you know what the EFCC exchanged with the senate minority leader, Godswill Akpabio when he was arrested? Maybe Amaechi's clearance for ministerial appointment.

I can't predict the volume of blood that would have been shed if Jonathan did not show maturity at his decision at the concluded Nigerian election. At least, there is no war. Thanks to him.
