tjay01:I understand how you feel...no body will say he haven’t lost in forex or any other equity trading...losing is part of the learning process...it prepares you to be a better trader...however, just keep it simple and concentrate on price action and your trade will improve...I use only 200 SMA and then use price action....I analyze from daily and then place trade on 15min or 1 hr...whichever gives me the curve to place good mental and real stop lost...also check this group trading as simple as 123 on forexfactory...learn the simplicity of the system and see if you can adjust or learn from it...all the same...trading comes with lots opportunity and lots of risks...if you can control the risk...you will be ok |
Learn how to trade...Forex,stock and any liquid asset...and have a plan that work consistently...have a good money management...and then remember that it is not a get rich quick idea...compound your gain over time and you are in the right part to success...right now...I will not advice you to trade crypto until the market stabilize...but in the long term if you want to acquire some coin...look for those that have prospect and people are developing business with it...The only crypto am keeping is Waves. |
Mark my word...even on Election Day...Buhari will vote for Atiku because he know that he failed Nigeria in all angle...Unfortunately a lots of Nigerians need to be educated per se and avoid politics of sentiment... This APC government is a mess...too corrupt...Nepotism...political bigotry...and impunity and neglect of due diligence of rule of law...how can they say they are better than old Pdp...? My advise to an ordinary Nigerian is guide your self and don’t let yourself be used in violence...if you die in the process...these corrupt politician don’t give a 50 cent fvvvk...just watch them from afar and 2019 will come and go and you will be alive to hear the story... |
Of course..that is how most people behave...even some Nigerian behave really bad when they see their fellow Nigerians abroad...My advice is never take it too hard on him...all that glitters are not gold...Most people abroad are just struggling and they won’t open up about it...because they society we come from places high emphasis on traveling abroad... However, to correct the impression that people abroad don’t help...is a lie because I know...they do: Not only family members but strangers...This year...I have been in the country twice...because I see the need...people are really going through hard time and it is appalling...I started an NGO...and through the foundation...I was able to sponsor about 5 youths to various skill program...Next is starting a learning center to help school kids from public school to catch up with kids from private schools...and micro loans to help mothers...all these program will cost a lot but I felt pity when I see how hard situation of things are currently are...and I think after testing the program...I will influence others to use this approach to help people back home... www.beverlyafrica.org So creating avenue like this is the best way to help...I have given a lot to friends and family that...I felt it is not really working...they kept coming back. |
Horyeh:If your savvy enough and understand the political terrain we as a nation is in now...you will understand the sentiment of the large part of our people...Buhari is a failure and have no clue what governance is all about...if we are left with two evils to choose in this country...people will choose Atiku all day long...The worst that this Buhari or brouhaha is doing...is using the slogan of fighting corruption...to persecute his political enemies...90% of those that surrounds him are corrupt...and nepotism is the order of the day in this adminisyration...he need to go back to school and study at least political science 101. Coming to the high point of your post...yes everybody got one vote but many people with their one votes are on the side of Atiku |
The only achievement I like in all those list is number 6. Very very impressive. |
APC evil party that careless about human right...they are thinking of letting him go because they want the people of south east to vote for them...unfortunately...they should forget it as every living thing in south east knows about their evil nature and how they are looting this nation dry and will vote them out massively. Let them prepare their rigging strategy but it will not work. |
APC as a party have taken corruption to the next level. Never in the history of Nigeria have any political party was so bend on derailing her political culture and identity as now. Is unfortunate that most Nigerians especially in Nairaland were so myopic in reasoning as to not criticizing this evil machinations. The future of this great nations depend on our being patriots and upholding values be it political or otherwise that will fit into what we are as a people and let us understand our diverse nature and work towards unification of all Nigerians irrespective of ethnicity or political ideas. |
I really like the post: I left California on 17th September and have been in Aba for 3 weeks now. My vision is to start my NGO whose vision is to provide quality education to Nigerian kids. I have been here 5 times the last 3 years and each time...I watch closely the public school system and i could not believe the height of neglect the system is experiencing... I am happy to say that through Beverly Foundation...pupil from public school will have free after school tutor at our learning center and we will continue to add programs to improve the quality of education. The government, individual and all should continue to press for education for all. It is among the things that will surely take Nigeria to the next level of development. |
Super story...Inec need establish credibility because what happened at Osun and Ekiti State really showed that the election umpire is biased. It only left for Nigerians to stand against them. |
When is it a crime for a mad man to own a phone...or is it because it is an iPhone. |

For where...the more you look...the less you see |
This is too bad. First of all, the father sending her daughter away because of getting married.,,I will Include my daughter in the arrangement and if they woman can’t marry me with my daughter...sorry! Second of all, if you have the resource to take care of the young girl...I see nothing wrong because I can only assume the reason why you are hesitant might be because you already have 3 kids to take care of. They argument if my assumption is reasonable from your own point of view is understable because of the economic situation. However you can talk to the father and arrange monthly support. I think in Nigeria the court can enforce it. Third of all, if everyone rejects the young girl I will raise her. Though am not in Nigeria...will provide for her. |
When you have an old man that still go by the name Lai...and is placed in a place of authority...we are finished....This man Lie Mohammad have been lying since ages...shameless old fool...meanwhile...he said “2019 is a distraction to Buhari” No time since the inception of this administration or regime that Buhari is on Traction....but like I kept telling him and his old guard...the day of reckoning is nigh. |
[quote author=Olabestonic001 post=69387046]Most of you are really easily deceived. Women are good wordsmith and knows how to get the narrative to favor their desired end. I've a feeling that she's not telling us alot. She said from the proceeds of the business, the man used his 'own part' (I'm damned sure they both agreed) to save the life of her father-in-law. The other was used to purchase a land and she (thinking she's smarter) bought it in her name. The husband never knew such. The man apparently thought he had a great wife- began to judiciously pumped money into the land and a house 'germinated' outta it. One day, they had a sharp disagreement and she reminded the man that he had no portion in the property. He became angry and left the house. She tried to 'give the olive branch' but he was still stunned. The issue wasn't looking good. She most likely reminded him that he 'squandered' his own share on his 'family' and that caused him to wonder what his wife was driving at. He annoyingly and foolishly asked for a transfer away. She got wind of it and discovered that that man some of you foolishly called wicked for his 'stupid' request wasn't nearly as bad. He still provides for the family and leaving her in the 'big house' she is claiming is too much for her to bare. A divorce is looming! Worst still, even with the house, she still doesn't have the upper hand. So, she came here, gave her version so that people will queue behind her. And boy, are they? Woman, let me tell you; you definitely know you betrayed and have wronged that man. He used a part of your deal to take care of his father and felt your agreement meant you loved his father! Your action to make the land in your name and you saw him dancing that he's building a family house not knowing he isn't is a bad choice ma. He himself is a man that needs wisdom. Kindly go back to your man and ensure you show remorsefulness for betraying him while he takes care of his parents (remember, they're yours too). Don't mind those cheering you on here. Many of them don't understand marriage but takes it for agitation. And if you want to remain married, show genuine repentance and you'll be shocked he won't even ask you to change it to his name again. God will save your home.[/quote And your narrative is based on what! Evidence or fact: You can speculate all you want. We are reaching our various conclusion based on the information available to us. We are not going to alter anything because here is not the court of law and we are not passing judgement. We only heard from one party to this issue and do we care to hear the full story from both side of course but that won’t be possible or necessary...if Op decided to come here and tell us such a nice story and unjustly faulted her husband...that is her problem. Just as we have unreasonable men in the society...we also have women...however...instead of trying to paint her a liar where you don’t know the full detail...just give her an advice she requested and leave the fallacy hasten conclusion you are positing. |
People here can crucify you for putting your name on the project. That is their opinion and it does not represent any conventional or societal norm. You have a union...a partnership when you marry someone...but from your statement...he used his share of the deal to take care of his immediate family...I need people to crucify him thus for this...but unfortunately...ours is a subjective society which favors men...but in the western world...that is not the case...People can separate asset in relationship for many reasons and in his case...through his action...he separated his assets from yours from the on set...and as nature will have it...you are too smart to build the house in your name..What man for whatever reason will ask the mother of his kids to move out of the house with his kids? I live in the USA...here a man move out of the house even if the house belong to him...they wife and kids lives in the house! Back on your question...pay close attention...don’t...never change anything to his name...possible scenario...he might perfect his threat and you will see another woman living in a house you built...they world is wicked! Protect yourself and your kid! They arguement should be...the need for him to return and take care of his kids...Worst case scenario...if the heat is too much...use a power of attorney...with a good lawyer...and put the name of the house on your son name...maybe that will soothe his stupid egocentric attrition. |
First of all, It can be real hard but try to always hold yourself...hitting a woman is wrong and I can’t emphasis on it enough. Second of all, A song said no body holly pass...She made a stupid mistake and when caught...did not try to be defensive and find someone to blame...which is a popular behavior among humans especially women...rather she sobbed and pleaded for mercy...that said a lot about her! I believe she would learn from this and become more Better person. We live in a world where pressure from social media is affecting our ladies negatively...Having a chat with her about the danger and how to resist them will be a step in the right direction. Third of all, you mention about the history you have so far with her...leaving her and starting another relationship might be a little bit expensive not on monetary value alone...and you might not know the skeleton the next person is carrying... To sum it all....if am in your shoe...I will call her and talk to her with the intention of setting her straight and pray that she will change for good...I just saw a wrongdoer that repented from her heart and God welcome such one back into his living relationship...if God can have mercy on sinners that repents...how much more we! |

This is a great post...I have been planning of starting an NGO in my state...I think I will borrow some of the ideas from here...especially the micro loan for market women...investing in agriculture...Again I think that what the government need to do...is to subsidize education and provide more quality education to the populace...in my school here in the USA...the school has a tutor program where student are paid to tutor other students and that was really impressive...being a tutor there...I saw how beneficial the program was to the students...once again great post and I believe that Nigerians will think more in this direction and take advantage of the various opportunity we have to improve the economy |
braimeddy:Why would a man value her more for living in her parents house...If she choose to live outside her parents house...how is it not diginifying for being a woman because I know that is the direction of your reasoning. |
Osahon7:I will also want to donate if I can contact him or who ever holding him |
I think honesty has nothing to do with religion but individual...we have both honest people in all side of the spectrum...each religion teaches their ward about the need to be honest in their dealing...In my work...I can't count how many people have left their IPhone in my car and I have to keep it and successfully return it to them...if I started keeping it with the intention of selling it I might make money but my conscience will keep hurting me...so it all comes down to people and how dead or live their conscience are...but the deed of the Muslim guy is what we want to hear more in our society and not all the bigotry, incest, and killing around us...couple with the threat of nuclear bombing. |
ochobaba:Who told you that just for expressing her opinion on an important issue in America...her citizenship can be revoked. It is called Freedom of expression and the constitution protects such freedom from citizens and all persons living in the USA. The president can try all he wants on pertinent issues affecting the nation however his power is not absolute as his actions will still be checked and balance by the other branches of Govt. He and his cohorts had frame the bill...it still need to pass through the congress before it can become a law which to my estimation will still require strict scrutiny of the Judiciary when all these immigration right authors started suing and bringing it to critique. We are people govern by the constitution not by mere individual populist views and ideologism. |
Most Nigerians are worst investors and risk takers I have ever seen...the guy told you to invest wisely not with real money...I mean money that will affect your living condition...and behold...due to greed every one is pumping their livelihood into the scheme...the last time I checked the site is all about mutual help...you don't put money and expect to get it back...is like making an offering in the church and return the next day asking for it...but since the scheme has a clause that repay you for participating...all you need to do is start small and grow in it...I am in the USA and Dude...people are making real money out of this dumb scheme per se...but we live in an age where money is made through dumb schemes...you just need to weigh in the risk and figure out if your risk tolerance will accommodate it. If you see a Rive...though you have not taken a bath in months in the jungle...don't be fast to jump and swim...you might be presenting yourself as a dinner or lunch to crocodile...test the water and then enjoy the freshness and soothing refreshment of the water. My 50 cent advice. The |
I really don't know where this lawyer got his degree in Economies or where the antagonist of the proposal are coming from. But the truth is that, his decision to borrow is the only solution in sight to control the economy into going into hyper inflation. The United States take such measure as monetary policy to revive an ailing economy in the case of the USA. Think the situation in Nigeria...as a father who lost his job with no means to put food on the table for his family to survive. Then the option presented itself from a dear friend to borrow money and feed his family atleast today whilst looking for another job. If the father borrow money for the temporary upkeep of his family...will you call it like the said lawyer...putting the future of his children at risk...the children won't have any future if they died of sickness caused by malnutrition. The next argument which concise with the norm in Nigeria is accountability per se...I will not discuss that, it is left for the government to decide. People are putting too much expectation from the government of Buhari;however, the situation is not his making. Past administration should be hold hundred percent accountable. Remember when State Governors nearly kill each other over excess crude account. We have an opportunity to save dollar to the wonder of the west...we have the opportunity to buy as a country US treasury bill which is safe...but our leaders because of their shortsightedness were in the business of stealing the resource for the younger generation. Where was Falana when this was happening. In conclusion, Nigerians need to support the vision therein in the proposal by the government to borrow money. This will help the economy to move on. |
I faced similar situation though I am a student, who is working two jobs. However, the demand is too much...I just stopped using Facebook and just open a Facebook account account with Allias and no picture just to keep in touch with my immediate family and my girl friend. So helping people is godly but you should also help yourself by knowing when to say no...or you will end up in the street and the same people will start talking how you are nobody in America. |
Unfortunately, the first lady does not have any good political idealism to envisage in this campaign. Her message is all hypocritical because her husband's inaction and ineptitude as commander in chief lead to corruption and misappropriation in all quarters. The arguments she raised, posit to say are all necessary in the political terrain that GMB found himself as the military leader. There is no rule of law in the military grandiose façade of government. She ought to understand that Nigeria as an entity has fully embraced democracy where anyone can challenge government abuse of power in the court of law. So, if Buhari as the President come May 29, 2015 accuse you of corruption and present to the court probable course for your arrest. You have the right to challenge those evidence in court. So we have a system that is higher to the military system of government and in it the rights of every accuse person is enshrined. So, it is a cheap political or campaign point that showed that the first lady with many years in the political environment can not differentiate and educate her fellow women about the due process of the law. Another point, that PDP has better material than APC can not be verify. We have over the years, heard various slogans associated to PDP and they have prove true to it. PDP share the money. PDP papa deceive Pikin and vice versa. When we consider the present political development in Nigeria. PDP as a party has a wonderful opportunity to transform Nigeria. However, the fester the entity call Nigeria with vast economic backwardness. A situation that continue to simmer despite the fact that Nigeria saw period of great economic improvement during this period under review and the PDP as an institution were not able to adapt to changing economic environment that presented huge opportunity to reposition Nigeria economy through innovation and job creation to compete with other emerging developing economies of the world. They were busy siphoning billions of petrodollar through endless contract. PDP has better material as claimed by the first lady, however, it is under the watch of the better material of PDP that we witness for the first time that the value of our Naira to the dollar rose to 200 naira per dollar. What economic plan has PDP laid in Nigeria for the last 19 years, and what were their result? So, we can never know the ability of the opposition until we give them an opportunity to show us what they have in store. This is what democracy is all about. PDP failed Nigeria as a nation. They should honorably give APC an opportunity to try their political agenda. Nigerians should try to be good critical thinkers and stop believing whatever these politicians are telling them. They should ask themselves just one question. How do I know that he/she is telling me the truth? Tell the government what the people want and criticize them when they are not providing them because that is the essence of leadership, their duty to the people is to provide, not only to ask for vote during election period. |
The only legacy of this Jonathan administration is that he is the president that supervise the rise of Naira to 200 per dollar. |
