Log for 01/09

B - Foreverlite shake

L - 1 serving amala (20 bucks mama-put size) lots of ewedu and 1 pomon

Snacked on a medium cob of roasted corn (5pm)

D - 2 servings spaghetti and 1 pc of chicken.

Water intake - 3 ltrs still drinking (noticed a consistently clear urine)

Exercise - Nil (the head aches still, i dont know why's that, but tomorrow it has to endure the exercise or vice versa.

B - Nil

Snacked on an apple around 11pm

L - 1 serving cole slaw (with mayo dressing), 2 servings fried rice & a pcs of goat meat

Snacked on a handful of nuts around 6pm

D - 2 servings of amala, vegetable soup and 1 pc of chicken.

Water intake - 4 ltrs

Exercise - 75 squats (first 25 rested then another 50), abs crunches 3 sets of 20, 10, 10 reps/set, jogged on the spot for 2 mins, there is this aerobics (kneeling on four and then raising one leg to a 90 degrees to the body) I did 2 sets (10 reps for each leg). Then I tried to stretch after the whole stuff


Log for 31

B - 1 wrap of moi moi with 1 serving akamu and a cube sugar

L - 1 scotch egg

5.30pm 1 serving corn flakes + milk and a cube of sugar

D - 1 serving beans + 3 small cubes of yam and a pc of chicken

Water intake - 3 ltrs, still drinking

Exercise - Nil (woke up with a terrible headache),

@ romeo, talking about vegetables infact that was where i got scared before saturday, anywhere you see vegetables in my meal, its more than 3 servings just to push the stuff, but nothing o. Anyways, since yesterday nothing again.

I will definitely add lots of fruits into my diet this week, I cant wait that long anymore, though it never worried me but I was worried still.

Thanks for the encouragment on the exercise, what about the diet

Log for today 29/08

B - 2 toasts (four slices), a mug of lipton tea, a tbsp full of milk and 1 cube sugar

snack - 1 apple

L - 2 servings rice and beans and small pc of chicken (at mumz she insisted i ate, i even forgot manners and drank a bottle of 7 up, i really forgot all about diet, my bad)

D - 1 serving garri and vegetable soup + 2 small pcs of gizzard.

Water intake - at the least 3 ltrs

Exercise - jogging/brisk walking for 27 minutes, the staircase to my door is 10 steps, ran up and down 12 times, abs crunches 4 sets of 10 reps each. wow that was very tiring but feels good at least for the rest of the day.

Why am i still stuck in 85kg? The thing is not moving a single inch forward or backward. grin

Ate a few nuts in the morning, and with the chores i forgot about breakfast.

L (noon) - A cup of lipton tea + lil milk + 1 cube sugar and 1 scotch egg

4pm - Drank a mug of Lipton + 1 cube sugar

6pm - Took four small pieces of gizzard

8pm - 1 1/2 serving rice + some pcs of plantain + 1 piece of chicken.

Water intake was more than 3 ltrs.

Exercise - Nil (Enough chores to break a sweat though)

B - 2 servings oatmeal + 2 cubes sugar + lil milk + 1 wrap of moi moi

L - 2 hanful cashew nuts

Snacked on a scotch egg

D - 1 serving amala + beans soup + ewedu and 1 piece chicken wings

Water intake is more than 3 ltrs. Able to go to toilet this evening too (2moro makes it a week). Its quite strange i cant feel it one bit, as in maybe heavy, dull etc

Exercise - Jogged 1 and a half kilometres,
3 sets of bicycle crunches,
3 sets plank on elbows and toes (holding for 15 seconds in each set),
3 sets vertical leg crunch, each of these sets consists of 10 reps each.
Tried seated rotations with a 3 litres bottle filled with water, but at that stage i was feeling dizzy so i stopped.

L - 1 bottle Viju drink + a doughnut (not too good i know)

D - 1/2 portion of indomie and a piece of chicken.

grin grin What's the matter Aladunni,it looks strange? What I do when exercising is that I begin with a number and work on building it. I used to do 20 reps of squats as a set(not funny) then I didn't exercise for a while but when I resumed I began with 10 squats a rep and was building to 20 squats a rep. You can do it as long as you set your mind to it. Our bodies are marvelous machines. If you do 7 now,okay. Maybe you can do that for a week then increase to 10 and in a month you'll find doing 20 squats a set to be easy as ABC. I guarantee that as long as you remain consistent. This was meant to encourage.

B - 1 wrap of moi moi and 1 serving of akamu, 1 cube of sugar and a lil milk (evaporated)

L - A handful of cashew nuts and 1 ltr of water

5:30 pm - 2 small balls of leftover garri and ewedu soup, no stew

D - Spaghetti and 3 slices of plantain (fried)

Exercise - Nil

25/08

B (11am) - 1 serving spaghetti and water

L (4pm) - small portion spaghetti

D - 1 serving rice and a piece of chicken

Water intake was quite low for the day (2 ltrs)

Morning exercise - 3 sets of squats with 10 reps each, 3 sets of abs crunches (same). Jogged on the spot for 3 mins. Had to attend to hubby (ill).

@ romeo i think i got it all wrong, i just browsed what a 'set' and a 'reps' - repetition meant. I will definitely adjust my log/exercise to the right terms.

for a beginner like me, what i have is 15 reps of abs crunches which makes just a set, and 7 reps of squats is not even up to a set. thanks

@ romeo, please what is the meaning of these pains? its very uncomfortable and i hope this is normal.

Today should have been my resting day for exercise but i couldnt because i woke up with the pains, especially my thighs. Infact it affected my routine activities in the office today.

B - Fried Eggs and 2 slices of bread with foreverlite milk shake, 50cl water

L - 3 oranges (feeling too full for comfort)

D - fist size garri + vegetable soup and 1 pc of meat. 50cl water

Water intake is so little today cos of the weather.

Exercise - 15 sets of abs crunches, 7 sets of squatting and then finished the rest with BBA 5 trainer this morning, i dont know the names of the aerobics but it was something else undecided

L - Took 2 capsules of garcinia and a handful of cashew nuts

Supper - 2 Doughnuts and water, am not sure that is balanced but i made the pastry and it filled me up. Too little sugar. Am so full. Hoping to drink more water tonight.

Exercise - 33 mins of jogging and brisk walking this morning, came back inside and did abs crunches.

S - Garcinia, aloe gel, pollen bees, 1 small cold pap and lots of vegetable soup with fish, 1.5 ltrs of water

Exercise - Nil (Lots of walking around though)

21/08

Same as above

evening snacked on cashew nuts (a handful)

S - same + 1 wrap of moi moi and vegetable
(still drinking water)

exercise Nil (Dint sit for 5 mins at a stretch today, its one of my very busy days with household chores)

My 9-day diet plan is done this evening, could see a lil difference of 4.5 lbs, too small for comfort and besides its really fluctuating. Anyways I intend starting the the diet and exercise plan proper from tomorrow. Once again @ romeo thanks for the mail.

Log for 19/08: B and L were filled with supplements and i took a small portion of beans, 1 apple and more than 3 litres for the day. A muscle on my neck was giving way yesterday so i stopped after 10 set of abs crunches, squatting 5 sets and jogged for the remaining parts. Whatever is working or not working, i feel rather light these days and the experience feels good for me. @ romeo i need to ask a medical and private question, can i av ur mail?

you very much welcome to this thread, i think you should lay this complaints to a good oby/gyn doctor who can carry out some necessary tests on you and deduce if you fears are real or imaginary.

@ limar, i dont think there is any hard and fast rule that says you must ovulate on day 11, infact for a regular cycle like yours of 28 days, you are likely to be pink/blue on day 14 of your cycle. I think you can also try Ovulation Prediction Kit, Egg White Cervical Mucus to be really sure. Anyways since you work online so well, try to learn more about ovulation signs. Rely on what your body tells you and not what a TV doctor says.

Ave been with clomid before (once) i actually reacted to it, so i cant say much about that. If you want to learn more, try reading this thread for the very beginning, you ave more than enough tips to help you through. Take care of yourself

@ romeo, noticed a pain on the right side of my neck this morning. I cant say where the pain emanated from but i noticed it during the sit up dis morning. I had to stop at a point and finished today's log with jogging on the spot.

Took supplements as required for B and L

Dinner had the supplements and a very small portion (smallest supreme ice cream container)of jollof rice and 1 fried plantain and four oranges.

The least water intake was 2 ltrs.

No exercise this morning and i dont know why i had to pay for that, cos my body pained me a lot today at work, @ romeo was it becos i rested today?

Log for 17/08, jogging on the sport for 5 mins, 50 sit ups, squatting 2 mins, other aerobics another couple of mins. I took the supplements during the day and 2 apples and a handful of nuts in the evening and of course the least of water taken is 2 liters.
