PoliticsRe: Tribalist Statements Credited To One Of Our Founding Fathers- Sardauna by alex14(m): 8:50am On Feb 22, 2012
I have discovered why these yoroboas never raise their terrible voices against their hausa/fulani masters: it's SIMPLY because ewusa/fulani took away their land (Ilorin) from them and turned more than 60% of their population into Islam.

So guys, to get the yoroboas to lick your ar.se, just invade their land and force your religion on them,,,,then watch them call you master even when you slaughter them. See how ordinary mallam/aboki kill their leaders, YET these people will die to defend their ewusa/fulani masters embarassed.

At times like this, I wish that goat Victor Banjo had obeyed orders, the 60% yorobao muslims (forcefully islamized by ewusa/fulani jihaists) will have been converted  to christianity cool.

Yet, it is common sense that one of the silliest things is when a man knows he’s lying, yet convinces himself to believe that he’s not.  The leaders of Nigeria represent this typology.  There is a difference between telling it as it is and telling it as you want it to be.
This is splendidly put. The writer captures the mindset of a typical one-nigerianist- leaders and followers alike. YES I say followers (the ruled), because even here on nairaland and other nigerian fora, I have seen dumb and brain-dead nigerians who still believe nigeria can be great by thinking that somehow their lies will become truth,,,,but at whose expense? At the expense(s) of children/generation unborn angry.
ndu_chuks (the hausa/fulani goat is a perfect example of one of the ruled who have championed these lies). I suspect his parents are part of the ruling elites of the north, hence his stand on one-nigeria either by hook or by crook.

Obviously this binch doesn't know when she is being ignored. lol
Steppin' over as usual.  cool

My brother I never said they should be sitting ducks in the North or anywhere in Nigeria. My position on this is well known by those reading from me frequently. I believe that Ndigbo should stop living in ways that make them easy targets in Nigeria. Yes, it will cost them a few "economic opportunities", but they will stop being easy targets.
Again you ignored the CAVEAT I put in my comment.
Honestly, my main concern is that we are always in a hurry to cede advantages and territories out of illogical things like fear for safety and pride. Uwazuruike's statement basically pitched the whole world against us.

We would NEVER attempt that type of war. NEVER.

Of course we need foreign support and I've said so here several times.
My thing is that we need EVERY advantage we can get to be able to win any future war. If we repeat the same impulsive behaviors of the past, we will get a WORSE outcome.
So, you are right about everything else, except that we are basically saying the same thing.  cool
Point well noted cool.
PoliticsRe: Igbo Will Go To War-----chief Ralph Uwazuruike by alex14(m): 2:46pm On Feb 15, 2012
Onlytruth:
You left out the most important CAVEAT from that same quote of mine. Here it is again:

I am an Ojukwuist is some ways -I am a very reluctant fighter. BUT I believe that thanks to Ojukwu, I am able to tow a completely different line from the one he took. He probably could have taken this same line, but he had no liberty of time and hindsight.  If you study his actions leading to the war, you would know that he never wanted that war. In fact, left for Ojukwu, that war would NEVER have happened, but he was a young man who had no history of Nigeria guide which should guide his choices. The Biafran war was the FIRST in Nigeria. So, Easterners practically pressured him into an unwinnable war. He still fought it gallantly, but I doubt he ever trully believed he could have won (my personal opinion). I share in his reluctance because I would never fight a losing war. NEVER.
The war was lost once Ndigbo ran to the East. Igbo continued presence in the North coupled with a strong voice urging them to stay, could have at least delayed the Nigerian army march into Eastern Nigeria. THERE ARE MANY REASONS for this which I would not discuss here. The way I see it, if you have 3 million Igbos in the whole North, that is almost the size of a country. If Nigeria were to invade  Gabon for instance, would the Gabonese run away simply because Nigeria is 160 million? NO they would fight even if they lose. The mistake we often make is to simply say things like "how can you fight somebody in his land?" Well, firstly these Igbos are almost like natives in the North. Most of them know the place like the back of their hands. They have lived there for decades! They speak the languages, they eat the foods, drink the same water and everything. So they are for all intent and purposes, NATIVES.  cool

They may not win, but they will buy us some reprieve in the East and help us score easily against the enemy.  Why should the Igbo in the East always suffer for their fellow Igbos in the North who always run home? Who will die for them? I'm laughing. If they found the North so attractive to invest and live there for all these years, they should also be ready to fight and die there. Simple. The Igbo in the East have their hands full with defending Igboland. The whole Biafran army was never more than 40,000 at any one point. Yet, it was a brave army that answered the call of history. BTW how did aboki survive fighting us in our land? If they could do it to us, we could do it to them. This is really simple enough to me.
To summarize, I never said war should be a first option. I also believe that we are still Nigerians, and must defend whereever we live in Nigeria. Until Nigeria is partitioned, and issues of properties settled, I would never support starting a war in Igboland, which would likely end there too.  cool
My brother, I beg to disagree with you here @ the bolded. Aboki (and the rest of nigeria) were able to fight Ndigbo in Igboland because of world power support,,,SIMPLE FACT! Remember Murtala Mohammed was itching to take the north out of nigeria until the british convinced him of backing and support for the north's control of nigeria. He(Murtala) was also itching to march to the east, but was advised against it until british arms, egyptian air personnel had arrived. So, please, lets put things in proper perspective; Easterners lost the war because of absence of a world power support. Imagine if we had Israeli pilots providing aerial bombarment of nigerian troops, nigerian civillians and territories like Lagos, kano et. al, the war would have been in favour of Biafrans in less than 6mths.
Again, this idea of Igbo remaining in the north will only be a good one if it's well co-ordinated from the homeland,,,,by this I mean all Igbo leaders must be involved in this, as this will require some form of clandestine military training for the men who will be staying put in the north. I was one of those opposed to Igbo remaining in the north, but after your reasons, I had a change of heart, but Eze, Igbo remaining in the north has to be well co-ordinated, even in conjuction with a secret military training pact with an XYZ country (this is were MASSOB has failed woefully). I have a lot to write here but I won't for some reasons best known to me. Anyway, remind me again of that email to reach you at.
PoliticsRe: Chief Obafemi Awolowo: National Hero Or Villain? by alex14(m): 8:47pm On Feb 14, 2012
Chief Thief Ole obafemi awaloawo was a cowardly villain who knows nothing about finance/accounting/book-keeping but was always fixated with the nation's treasury. Case in point to buttress this fact is outlined below:

Awaolowa pleaded with Zik (another fool) for form govt so that he (awaolowa) will be made the finance minister, but was turned down by the dumb Zik.

Awaolowa got his chance when released from prison for treason and was offered his life long dream of finance minister/commissioner by gowon.

Awolawao finally met his waterloo when he tried YET AGAIN (reminiscent of 1965 treason act) to overthrow govt, this time that of IBB. IBB gave "baba" two choices; go to jail or exile. Awolaowa didn't choose from any of the two choices as offered by IBB. He felt he cannot be dictated unto by an ordinary khaki boy. Little did the world know that awolaowoa had his most cawordly plan. He devised his own choice, independently. HE DRANK THE MOST POPULAR RAT POISON IN AFRICA CALLED "OTAPIAPIA".
PoliticsRe: Igbo Will Go To War-----chief Ralph Uwazuruike by alex14(m): 7:17pm On Feb 14, 2012
Uwazuruike should learn to control his emotions. Ndigbo will not be at war with all/any group(s) in the south (except for treacheous ones). I'm dissappointed in some of his utterances here. He needs to be more strategic/diplomatic in thinking. He also need to secure a powerful foreign ally (Israel's MOSSAD to be precise) in the eventuality of war,,,failure to do so will be tantamount to suicide, for he will be on his own.

l myself fight to my last breath and everybody will have to fight to secure his own life and what that means is that you destroy the enemy without wasting time before he has the opportunity to destroys you.’
+1000 at the bolded.
Ndigbo should/must start making preparation for steady supply of arms and military training from a powerful foreign country (preferably Israel), that will help us take the fight to all parts of nigeria if need be (this is where MASSOB fails miserably). If the current events will lead to war in the dungeon called nigeria, then we must be prepared to turn the land of others(especially the treacheous ones) into a battlefied. We cannot/must not fight a defensive war this time around cool.

Sometimes, it is best to at least engage your brain before making illogical comparisons.

If we follow your logic that the Hausa/Fulani in Cameroun are tame because some groups in Cameroun are tough, why are the Eastern Nigerians unable to tame the Hausa/Fulani in Nigeria?

Is it not safe to conclude that either the Hausa/Fulani in Nigeria are tougher than their cousins in Cameroun or that the Eastern Nigerians are not as 'tough' as the groups in Cameroun that you are comparing them to?

You try to sound wise and knowledgeable and end up sounding like a donkey. I am sorry to say. Your ethnocentrist views always come of as balderdash.
Mr, I know most of you southern saboteurs will do anything to cover up for your forebearer's action/treachery of the 1967/1970. It's only in the dungeon called nigeria that the hausa/fulani have total control of govt as far as w/africa is concerned,,,thanks to the assistance they got from the middle belt, southerners and more importantly, world powers at that time. Infact, most of you in the middle belt and  in the south that fought against Biafra have no clue what you fought against and even till this day, you still haven't figured out what you fought against.

As for the bolded, I'm not surprise for it is coming from somebody whose ancestors lost a strategic town (Ilorin) to the "tough" hausa/fulani shocked.

Why are my Igbo brethren crying or showing concern for these idiots that chose to remain in the north without arming themselves? I've decided never to show concern to those who love money more than their lives. Why are they still in the north? I'd rather move to a poor african country than the north of nigeria.

I will only revenge if Igbos are attacked in IGBOLAND and not in Ewusa land in the north. The most annoying thing is that these stupid Igbo up north failed to learn from the past. If you must live in the north, then arm yourself,,SIMPLE! The Ikemba advised Igbos in Kano to arm themselves and since then, they (Igbo residing in Kano) are relatively safer than Igbos elsewhere in the north. The Igbo in kano were able to assert themselves violently when problem came,,,,FACT!

"Those who fail to learn from history shall become history". These dead Igbos have just substantiated this quote as they've become history,,,,,FACT!

As a result of this division in Igboland, I'm even considering starting a new Igbo clan somewhere in the Amazon. I'm learning a lot right now and the main reason why Biafra was defeated may not be unconnected with this division and individualism embarassed
PoliticsRe: Disadvantages Of Nigeria's Huge Population by alex14(m): 4:44am On Sep 27, 2011
@ OP, below are some more disadvantages that need to be added to your list:

More "desert ninjas" (those nigerians that travel to europe via the sahara desert).
More tribalists (ask nairaland or other nigerian fora)
More fantasy tales emanating from the so called village "empires" of nigerian dungeon that all capitulated at the mere sight of dane-gun-wielding white men.
More groups with ethnic identity crises.
More fictional tales by ijaw with respect to their population, which in reality is not more than a mere 3M.
More/perpetual darkness as there can never be 24/7 electricy.
More clowns to try out their bullet proof charm,,,,ask the OPC guy who is now 6ft below the sea level.
More people to brand themselves as "politically shofishticated", even if such tag is arrived at via treachery.
More ewusa/fulani pigs clinging onto "born to rule" mentality.
More Igbo fools who will keep investing outside their region, thus endagering their lives and those of their family.
More foolish Igbo parents who have abdicated their responsiblity of telling their children about the events of 1966-1970, thereby making them vulnerable to future dangers.
More Igbo fools (male and female) who keep getting involved in a bound-to-be suicidal intertribal marriage/relationship specifically with the sworn enemies of Biafra.
Above all, the greatest disadvantage of them all is the difficulty in stemming the growing tide of "efulefuism" in Igboland embarassed
