All you have been doing is just blatant denial of facts. So you even denied the Gospel all because you have serious hatred issues with the Catholic church. Do you think Isaiah was referring to Deborah or probably the wife of your village Head. This is the only antidote I have for you.

David is being regarded as "the Highest of the kings of the Earth" and Jesus Himself says (in His Glory) "I am the root and the OFFSPRING of David" --- seems David is more important here! So why dnt u "respect and honour David too"?

I always wonder what is the problem with all these depraved creatures who are always anti-Catholicism. Where else do you want to get a balanced scriptural teaching if not the Catholic church. I studied Philosophy for 4 years and almost derailed from Christianity yet it takes between 10 to 15 years to prepare a catholic priest for ordination (studying Philosophy and Theology) and this explain the quality of teachings and sermons we get from the pulpit.

Just because your Pastors attended a 3 months Bible verse memory course (Popularly called Bible School) and thereafter starts parading themselves as if they are the best thing that ever happened after bread and butter doesn't give you the audacity to wag you germs ridden tongue on a faith you knew nothing about.

While most of us come to Nairaland to complain, I took a decisive action by calling their customer Care line and gave them strict warning not send any unsolicited sms to me again. Action was taken and that was the last day i received such sms from Airtel. They do call me occasionally and even if they do, the Customer care agent will first ask me if I am okay with the call.

Let every victim of this unsolicited sms put a call across to their network provider's Customer care line and register their displeasure.

I upgraded my HTC Sense Android 2.3.4 version to 4.0.3 following this simple method

step 1: Make sure you have data bundle activated or wi-fi
step 2: Go to settings on your phone click on About phone
step 3: Go to software information to check your current version. If it is 4.0 and above, you can download BBM otherwise follow step 4
step 4: Go to software update and check for available update....then you can update/upgrade your phone to 4.0 version
Step 5: start enjoying apps like BBM, Dstv drifta and many others..

Plz note: it cost me about 350Mb to upgrade and thats why its better to use wi-fi or any unlimited data plan

BBM can only work on Android 4.0 VERSION.....I upgraded my HTC sensation from 2.3.4 version to 4.0.3 and it cost me about 350Mb..thank God for airtel 1Gb plan for android.....so if its not working on your phone, check your android version.

I use an ANDROID HTC Sensation with exiting and far better specifications than Blackberry and the current price is over N70K. Name any Blackberry phone that is better than Samsung S3 and S4 and even Techno phantom are far more expensive than the 20k (if brand new) curve 2 crap BB users flaunt all over Nigeria. BB users are not even ashamed that they are still backward in this recent technological revolution. Instead of moving with the tide of time, they go about championing a lost cause. RIM executives saw it coming and they quickly adapted to the change and raked in millions of dollars...yet some silly BB users are on this thread boasting about a failed product. Blackberry without BBM is just like any other phone with torchlight. Wise up my friends and join the android family.

@ OP ...I am really surprised at your level of thinking. What makes you think you will be a better husband than this security guy. Have you taken your time to know about his educational background, are you gainfully employed as a graduate (provided you are one), and if you do...how easy was it when you got the job.

After being in and out of jobs for almost 6 yrs, I went with my friend to take up a job as security guard with salary above 50k, which was even better than those days when I was working as a marketer and living on stipends and commission. At first i was ashamed but my supervisor encouraged me. We saved some money and enrolled for a professional course in Security Management and I am even working towards my Masters in Crime psychology and this is a career path I never considered.

My friend was lucky because he now work as a security coordinator in a bank with a monthly package of over N500K. I am also waiting for my turn to come and coupled with the fact that my bank is now converting people with university degree to full staffs.

A man without a job is an irresponsible man....

Such a person would be lax in carrying out his duties especially when it has to do with one of those big tippers. That is also a green light for Robbers. They come to the bank, tip big and the next time the man is coming, the guard would be so eager to open the door that he will not use his metal detector. Unknown to him, the tipper is an armed robber who has just been granted free access into the Banking Hall. My prayer is that those in support of this security man should be the only ones in the Bank on the fateful day to see for themselves what danger this begging poses.

Dont you see there is a problem here, the bank wants security for its business and they are treating those that are employed to provide the security like slaves....

I never support begging of any sort...infact I was brought up never to beg or scramble for anything. If the giver felt that you worth it, he will walk up to you and give you.

If you treat your security guards well, they will never compromise the standard of their job.

In response to your number 2 example,
Customer Service starts with the security officers because they are the first point of contact with the bank. They ae taught that customers are king and should be treated like one.

So I ask you if it is a crime for your fellow guy to give you presidential treatment which you dont even desrve but the guy is doing it to keep his job.

It is not all security guards that beg. If these guys are well paid like GTBank and Zenith Bank security officers, they dont need to beg. I make bold to say that a good number of the security officers in these two banks are graduates and undergraduates. The graduates are there for obvious reason (unemployment) and the undergraduates are using their salary to fund their education.

Bank customers also have bad attitude towards security officers. One of the things you dont realise is that there is a standing order that they should greet customers when entering and leaving the bank, but some of us take it as a form of begging without realising that they may lose their job if they dont greet customers or is it a crime for security officers to greet you? I was in a GTBank in Port Harcourt when a security officer greeted a customer.....welcome to Guaranty trust bank....and the customers response is ....Dont greet me, I dont have money to give....... infact some of us look down on these guys and detest them like leprosy, whereas some of them are actually more educationally sound than us.

Banks too are not helping issues, everything is under contract today, even cleaners in Government establishment are working as contract staffs.

Most security companies treats their security officer like slaves...imagine a situation where 10k was deducted from a security gaurd's salary because he failed to sign out just one and 23k was deducted from someone that didnt sign out twice. How do you expect them to survive coupled with the fact that their leave allowance is not up to 5k without medicals and that is why a good number of them patronise PARAJA joints.

Bank staffs dont even help issues, some of them see these guys as dejected people and they always take advantage of this. The verbal and psychological harassment they suffer from some staffs, even TO's and IT's is second to none and this happens in all the banks with no exception.

Security officers in some Bnaks cannot use the lunch room and cannot share the lift/elevator with staffs and customers. When you take care of your contingent staffs, they will do your work in a professional way but in a situation where the bank managements has already demoralised them through their slave - master relationship policy, you shouldnt expect the best from them.
