biolar2017: 1. What advantages do you stand to gain..?? well, paying full tuition for a year is a sign of commitment to your education in Canny and may also reduce the financial burden on your bank statement. 2. Do I still need to send bank statements?? yes u do.. because payment of fees alone isnt the minimum requirement for CIC's proof of funds. CIC requires you to prove also that you can cater for yourself without working in Canada and as such an additional 10,000cad will be required as living expense. Aside this, if your duration of your studies is more than a year then CiC may also assess your ability to continue to cater for your studies using the bank statement and other document 3. beware the CIC can refuse an applicant on other reasons such Purpose of Visit, Current Employment Situation etc. Hence, aside you showing you have sufficient funds available, you should try to look at this too. 3.How many documents do I need to complete my visa application ? There is no specific number of documents to submit, however u can on this for Popular chopping trv on page 0 or here |

ohizzyy7: for tuition write what is written on ur admission letter or tuition estimates given to you by the school. Room and Board : 10000 Other: 2000-5000** Please am i to calculate for one year or the full program? Calculate for a year ** depending on ur financial muscle Below is an Excerpts from CiC page on financial sufficiency.. ''Students are required to demonstrate financial sufficiency for only the first year of studies, regardless of the duration of the course or program of studies in which they are enrolled. In other words, a single student entering a four-year degree program with an annual tuition fee of $15,000 must demonstrate funds of $15,000 to satisfy the requirements, and not the full $60,000 which would be required for four years. Officers should be satisfied however that the probability of funding for future years does exist (i.e., parents are employed); scholarship is for more than one year. Applications for extensions made to CPC-V must also meet this requirement''. hope this helps 1 Like |

honeyscottage: Did u receive a medical request or u really meant upfront as u rightly said?? If it's the latter, then im afraid to tell u that there is no need to worry, because i can cautiously speculate that from what i have seen and read on this forum and personal experence, that it seems different VOs may handle upfront medicals in two ways. Some VOs may review all your documents before they update your medical status to passed (meaning there is little time between medical update and final decision)or in some case no update at all prior to final decision( this may be a refusal)whilst others may immediately update ur medical status to passed even without reviewing your document at the time of the update. You are not alone on this if i rightly understood u. |

CanadianNurse: Congrat bro/sis on your Medial/Evidence of Fees Payment request as you get closer to your TRV approval ''God willing''. I will admonish u to try and pay part of fees(at least first semester or first year fees) if you have the means to do so, in addition to showing a dom account if that's how u intend to respond to this request. nelly28: Manitoba accepts fees from international students prior to arrival ''if Immigration Refugee and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) requires students to forward funds to cover their first year of tuition and school fees (and possibly living expenses) prior to registration''. The amount will be deposited in the student account and a receipt will be ''processed and e-mailed to your e-mail account referenced in your Aurora Student account. If an original receipt is required it can be mailed to you upon request''. 2 Likes |

AYMONI: Please clear your name from the above post...... i believe this should not be an issue if you didnt submit a fraudulent bank statement as raised by the VO. Now you ve been given the opportunity to proof that and now the onus is on u proof that by reproducing the same statement of account from Skype Bank as at the date of submission (just as u submitted it). If possible, get an introductory letter from the bank as well. my little ''pesewa'' on matter. Goodluck 2 Likes |

yemdogg: this issue shd not generate any controversy bro..!! in any case where there is a conflict between CIC and vfs lagos office i believe CIC will overrirde vfs information as the former will override the latter. But i dont think there is a conflict in this case. It's an issue of ellaboration. 4months is the minimum requirement and therefore an applicant may choose to reasonably go beyond the minimum requirement by submitting 7 months bank statements. A different example may be CIC stating 10,000cad as annual living expenses(minimum) but an applicant may reasonable choose to declare more (eg.13000cad or more) as his/her living expense depending on financial muscle. 2 Likes |
