Hello Ashton..... U said the death started you gave gumboro vac, was there any spillage wen giving them the vac, if yes then u have an outbreak of gumboro in ur hands. Next give them iodine

They're not feed upto 100g per day despite the fact that i leave the light till 10pm, egg production suddenly drop to 51% from 60%. And someone are sleeping while standing and drinking alot of water. They drop that type of poop above

Anyone has any idea what is wrong with my bird . i lost one today and i cant move and their feeding has decreased maybe that's what making my egg size small. Someone please help.

It's going to start from being small before increasing in size and weight. Just be calm because that is how it normally is when they just start laying. Just ensure that they are eating the right ration of feed (not underfed) and take enough water.

Sorry about that it can really be a frustrating one,i don't do layers but the organic supplement I get from a guy on line is really doing wonders for my boilers. You can check him out on facebook @gileadfarms and am sure he can help

Hello all ....... I greet u all, have been a ghost reader here and i have learnt alot from the bosses here concerning investments, financial literacy and financial independence. I have a question that i would like to ask.
There's this particular podcast that i do listen to called Dave Ramsey show and this man teaches american specifically about financial education, budgeting,living below your means, getting out of debt, investing and all that. So they do tell couples to combine their income then attack their debts together and invest together. So my question is do you think its a good idea to combine ones income with your wife here in Nigeria, and invest together to be able to reach your financial goals faster. Not that the wife will be using her money to buy land that omo onile will collect and sell to someone else, or loaning people money that they wont pay back while the husband is there doing is own thing also. Cos i see this in alot of nigerian families, and i read somewhere on this tread where ogorofreak or so replied the person that was asking ahib for statement of account that most of them hide their statement of account from their wives. I would love to hear your insight and experience on this. Cos am not from a wealthy family but i want a wealthy family to come from me. Thanks and forgive the epistle.

Farmers are definitely not encouraged at all and I can see how newbies are confused on how people are claiming that it is profitable to raise any of the poultry farm animals in this difficult times.

Just this morning, I got a call from a newbie farmer who wanted to dispose of his noiler/turkey birds due to the ever rising price of feeds which has eaten deep into his calculated supposed profit . After much persuasion not to sell, we put them up for sales and if not all has been sold ( who go see awuff wey no go buy?? 7weeks going 8 at that price ).

There goes another farmer.

Most people who go into poultry farming forget that there are going to be challenges. And most of them don't have the passion for agric and passion is one of the things you need in this business. Am a newbie also but i shall see it to the end no matter what.

At 10 weeks, your broilers should be above or at least 2kg. If it's that weight and there are 50, the dosage is ok.

The dosage is for every 100kg weight

How many birds?

Use 2 septrim 960mg + 2 flagyl 200mg + 2 paracetamol 1000mg per 10 litres water for every 100 adult birds for 5 days
