Bros, i think u need a 2nd opinion. There r a "thousand and one" things that will cause ur car to guzzle fuel, but i doubt if it is a missing catalytic converter. A blocked catalytic converter might actually be the cause of the problem.

Basically the converter ensures environmentally friendly exhaust emissions (something we r not too concerned about in 9ja yet), a missing one has little effect (if any) on ur car runnings.

Bottomline, find another mechanic and sample opinions.

Thot i was d only one having this problem, i dey even fear to check my balance cos na 2 unwarranted text messages be dat; loading recharge card nko?!?

Used to wonder the same till i discovered that Caviar did not really depict just "Fish eggs" but a d eggs of a particular fish (the Sturgeon). i think getting that particular fish's eggs is wat makes it expensive, other types of "Caviar" are fakes, including the eja-titus most of us r used to

I normally wuld say u have no right to say your parents maltreated u, until u have kids of your own and raise them successfully and hear wat they hav to say 'bout u.

Its just unfortunate, but some pple were never meant to have kids; the westerners understand this perfectly, thats why some of them never get married of give birth and they dont get castigated about it. They know if u have kids and u dont treat them right, the law will lock u up.

Women r mostly guilty of this because d onus to bring up a child rests squarely on their shoulders; we males can just bail anytime (i'm not sayin its right tho). Most ladies dont knw wat they getting into most time when they say they wanna get married; believe it or not, your life takes a sharp 270 degrees turn when u say "i do". The men can go on clubbing and banging, but u r stuck home with the kids and u begin to wonder how your life hit rock bottom.
I dare say, most Nigerian Mothers r not mentally stable as a result of the trauma they receive when they start having kids, especially when they have unsupportive husbands; its like being dunked in iced water while u r having a lovely dream episode - a rude awakening!

i always advice all my lady friends; do not rush into marriage, its not for the faint @ heart.

This is a realy sad predicament we find ourselves in as a nation. i dare say that all the expatriate controlled firms are guilty of this - racism on our own soil. without getting into too much story (cos i hate reading long posts too); i worked for one of them ex-pat firms run by lebanese (SETRACO); i had to resign after 3 mths cos i culdnt bear d disdain wit which they regard u; no matter how technically sound u are. 

i supervised another firm too (SCC) on a road project; can u believe they refused us the use of the site toilet facilities; they said we culd stick our d.i.c.k.s in d atmosphere for all they care, trust me, i promptly resigned?!?

I wont blame them, its our leaders who have sold us to slavery once again; they collect huge sums from them before awarding contracts, so the ex-pats are obliged to sweat us (the underlings) for all we can muster. u wont believe the salaries and working hours our pple have to endure. 

We too are to blame, mumu pple; we r afraid to confront these bastiches head-on cos most are afraid to lose their jobs; we idiots will reason that "half bread is bttr than none"; besides, ten pple are in line to fill your space. What more can i say; we Nigerians r highly tolerant.

Dont wanna bore u guys wit d rest, but i jst wanted to knw if any of y'all remember any scary rhymes or stories, or even movies u watched when u were a kid? Some other rhymes that used to scare me were:

- Solomom Grundy
- Matilda
- My mother (dunno why)
- There was an old lady who swallowed a fly,
- Humpty Dumpty

i wonder who wrote such grotesque rhymes for kids anyway; nearly scarred me for life!

Dunno bros, but nowadays pple dont play CDs no more; jst upgrade ur system to read mp3 flash drives or mem cards; saves u d hassle of scratched CDs, rejected CDs, & skipping when u drive on 9ja rds.

Ok, maybe i wasnt explicit enuff d first time around; i currently run a barbing saloon, indirectly. i'm a Civil Engineer, i enjoy my vocation and i live comfortably. Witout goin into too much story, i opened a shop for my wife where she does here beauty stuff on one side and manages a barbing salon on d other.

Its bn almost a year now and the salon still struggles to rake in N3000 a week, this is my 3rd barber now and i'm planning to scrap it soon cos d business doesnt pay for itself, talkless of the rent, most of the revenue comes from my wife's beauty shop and soft-sell side; i still fuel their generator intermittently and service it from my own pocket.

The issue is working wit pple, honesty and credibility; most of these guys believe it is because u hav too-much-money u want to set up a business and sweat them while u collect all the money.

Dont get me wrong, i dont blame the business, i swear, it is one of the most viable ones around (everyone cuts their hair) and i knw other pple who r making it; but as i said earlier, any investment u cant or wont oversee directly, pls dont even think of goin into it!

Dunno if u male or female; but first off, doin business in Nigeria is near impossible if i doesnt end up being ur vocation. u cant just leave ur business to someone expecting return if u r not there ALWAYS to oversee it; they will just turn-u-mad and run-u-down. (i'm talkin 4rm experience).

That said, a barbing salon is a fantastic idea; i know of persons who run different outlets succesfully, but it's not just their Business, its all they do. So if this is not going to be ur primary stuff, pls dont go into it, invest in wat u do presently.

From personal experience, when i was newly married and expecting my first kid, i was out of a job; despite d fact i was a Bsc graduate and a serving youth corper, i stooped so low as to seek a newspaper vendor job. My wife was d breadwinner then, she cldnt disrespect me cos i dint laze around. i was out of d house everyday hustling till i made my contacts and got a real job.

Now my wife doesnt work cos i can afford to take care of her needs and my kids comfortably; even bought her a car, glory be to God!!!

Bottom-line, bros no sleep or eat for dat house if u r not contributing anything, it just breeds disrespect & contempt. by d time u disappear for one week and come back wit even N5000 or 5 tubers of yam and dissapear again, na she go dey find u.

I honestly think d album was shabby, agreed, d guy got flows but d beats & instrumentals didnt flow this time.

This album is a flop, even compared to his previous and all d hype.
