Hello guys, been worried about my study visa application I submitted last month. I was refused UK study Visa in 2007, 2008 and 2010, but from 2011 I was issued a visiting visa, same with 2012 and 2014 with 2 years and 5 years visiting Visa respectively.

Then last 2 years, i tried Canada Study Visa I was refused, then tried same Canada Study Visa early last year I was refused Canada study visa for the second time.

I then applied for UK study visa last month and I encountered so many questions concerning my previous refusals both from UK and other countries, I couldn't provide refusal letters from UK because I couldn't find them as it's been more than 10 years, though I quoted the refusal stamps on my passport and hope it will help. I also quoted the Canada refusal informations and the sub sections but I didn't upload the letters. So it's been bothering me. I am expecting my passport this week as it will complete 15 working days this week.

Should I be worried?

Good day house please i need your help as i am scared. i am a medical doctor that just graduated from ukraine this year.i am 24yrs old. i want to go to canada for an MPH degree. i have applied to 2 universities (university of alberta and university of mannitoba) to start start fall next year if i am granted admission. please i have few questions for the house.
1. what are my chances of getting a study permit? i had no issues in ukraine during my 6 years there and i even have a police report backing it. i came back as soon as i finished my program. i have travelled to other european countries.. i have a few expired schengen visa on my passport.
2. when is the best time to apply for the study permit?
3. how much should my dad have in his acct since he is sponsoring me? (he also sponsored my ukraine education)
4. do i need to pay school fees upfront?

Sorry for news bro. That's the spirit. Get your GCMS and refire. God would save Nigerians from the hands of these merciless Nairobi VO. I think what these people are doing now is unethical. How can someone submit an application and it is rejected for the same reason 2ce and third time it is approved for example while nothing significant has changed. Is that not wickedness and greediness? How den take better pass Nigerian police nah?

So I received my passport and this paper today after being Denied on the 19th of last month, VFS and their nonchalant attitude just dumped my parcel, not until yesterday i made contacts and these idiots sent me sms and mail in not more than 30 mins. Well I have applied for GCMS and hoping I get it around this time next month to know the detailed reason they gave.

I have to wait. God will see us tru. Cheers y'all.

So I sent a mail yesterday to both Lagos and London visa offices... Lagos replied this morning to tell me my app is still on active review... mind u, am on eligibility review...well..i have removed my mind from this...wen they reply...we will be waiting

They are all third parties that would request your gcms for you.
You can use any of them, its a matter of personal choice.

First application was denied in January and reason was based on Financial ground.

2nd Application was submitted in September

What I did differently:

I prayed

Did medical insurance

Tuition deposit of 47,000 CAD

Shorten my SOP to just 6 lines and straight to the point

I will be travelling sometimes in December to do an aviation upgrade program.

As adviced on this forum, linked my paper route application to online and I just saw this.

Application Submitted on the 9th of October.
Received Biometrics Validity mail on the 19th of Nov.

Documents submitted:

ALGONQUIN COLLEGE, Ottawa.
Program: PROJECT MANAGEMENT PGD.
Ist Term School Fees paid.
Admission Letter and School fees Receipt Submitted.

All my BSc documents.
My appointment letter as an Intern/Salary Invoice as an Adhoc staff.
Mum is my sponsor, $16,000 in her account.
Her documents; appointment letter, salary slips, bank Statement, landed properties(plenty ooo)...
My travel history sef full the passport...

So I just linked my account and saw this.

I also paid for waybill of my passport down to my state and VFS no even reason to don send, the update before linking my account keeps saying "Being Processed at Canadian Visa office"

I guess that's after validation at the ministry of education den u head to foreign affairs in Abuja.

God abeg ooo... This one is strange to me ooo... I applied through paper route like I said, arranged my documents, went straight to Galleria to submit, I no even hear anything concerning Educa talk more Foreign Affairs ooo.... shuooooo... This is new to me ooo....

Each time I check online it keeps telling me it's been processed at Canadian visa office. For further information abi na wetin contact vfs bla bla bla. I tire.

Been thinking since but Lekwachi's ordeal just proved to me that our passport is being stamped at Lagos office waiting on instruction from any of the embassies around the world. Our passport doesn't leave the shores of 9ja. Only photocopies of our passports and documents are sent abroad. That's why if you do a Paper Route submission, they will tell u not to submit originals except ones addressed to them because you won't be getting them again.

Till date no Medical mail yet.

School resumes 7th of January.

I also applied in October, 20th to be precise. On the 19th of this month I received a mail on Biometric Validity. Though I am yet to get a mail instructing me to go for medical. What's your present status?

I submitted my application on the 20th of October at the Silverbird Galleria, Abuja. Then i received a mail on Biometric Validity 2days ago, I am yet to receive instruction to go for medical. Is it advisable to go for Upfront Medical or should I wait for the mail from Embassy?

I applied for study visa via paper submission on the 10th of October, 2018 and I received a mail from Kenya on the 19th of November, 2018 concerning the Validity of my biometrics.


I have an admission for a PGD program from Algonquin College. Paid my first semester school fees. My school resumes on the 7th of January, 2019. With the way things are going, I want to ask if it's possible to do my medicals now and send to Kenya or should I keep waiting for their mail instructing me to go for medical?


I recall back in 2015, my elder brother who resides in Canada did his medical in Port Harcourt but currently on CIC website, I am only seeing two clinics in Lagos, then one in Abuja. I called the Q-Life Hospital and they said they are fully booked for this year till next year. What will happen if I get the call to go for medicals, and to say my school resumes 7th of January. God abeg ooo... Please help...
