The Attorney General of the Federation (AGF) and Minister of Justice, Mohammed Bello Adoke, has revealed that the federal government cannot prosecute the people indicted in the House of Representative probe into the management of the fuel subsidy, saying the probe was just a ‘fact-finding’ mission.


What the above is tell you is that, they only investigated to know the thieves not to prosecute them. HEHEHE

Referring to recent flaws recorded by the anti-corruption agencies in the trial of some corrupt allegations, Mr Adoke stated that “experience has shown that whenever our law enforcement agencies are stampeded to arraign suspects, the end result is usually the discharge of such suspects by the courts ostensibly for want of evidence.”

“Nigerians must therefore allow our law enforcement agencies to conduct painstaking investigations that will ultimately satisfy the standard of proof required in criminal cases.”

He however admitted that the allegations contained in the subsidy probe report deserve serious action on the part of all those with oversight responsibility over the agencies and persons concerned.

He urged Nigerians to have faith in the processes being undertaken and to patiently wait for the outcome of the investigations and subsequent prosecutions that may flow from the fuel subsidy probe and also the on-going probe by the Senate.

What this is saying to you is that it would take Years to find evidence strong enough to arrest them, thus it may take after 5 year of which YOU would have forgotten all about it. Bola Ige killer is still not know and it has been about 10 years now, investigation is still going on

Oh I see what you mean. You are talking of mass transport (8 carriage full). My brother I don't think Lagos is that large in population. In fact I doubt if people would know the value of this when it starts initially but as time goes on, people would warm up to it.

An eight carriage or so as you suggested would not work on electricity but on gas or crude oil product for more power unless you are talking about electric trains which we cannot afford now. Lagosians cannot afford given the fact that

1. Oil would soon finish

2. We don't want to be seen as parasites.

It is better for a state like Osun or Ogun to build a dam or so (talking like a layman) to power such then Lagos depending of Oil again.

My brother, a small state like Lagos does not need a train rail service for intra state travel.

If talk of transport from Lagos to Imo or Oyo then it is the job of the FG to provide that and that is when you need a Train rail.

This rail is just to transport people from their place of work to their houses and also for small cargo.

Heavy cargo is for those travelling to another state with a huge cargo.
