The former Minister for Defence, General Theophirus Danjuma has called on Nigerians to rise and defend themselves against ethnic cleansing.

Danjuma gave this warning today (Saturday) at the maiden Convocation ceremony of Taraba state university in Jalingo Taraba state capital.

Danjuma speaking at arena of the convocation, said he saw a diverse cultural display organized by Taraba state cultural groups which to him showed that state represents Nigeria in all aspect.

He said the unnecessary killings which is a target to ethnic cleansing on the people of Taraba and Nigeria at large must stop, just as he called on the people to ‘rise and defend themselves against the killers ”

“You must rise to protect yourselves from these people, if you depend on the Arm Forces to protect you, you will all die”

“This ethnic creasing must stop in Taraba, and it must stop in Nigeria. These killers have been protected by the military, they cover them and you must be watchful to guide and protect yourselves because you have no any other place to go”

“The ethnic cleansing must stop now otherwise Somalia will be a child play”

“I ask all of you to be on your alert and defend your country, defend your state” he said

APC is a fraudulent party and the reality is that we Nigerians don't yet have an opposition because APC is just made up of past PDP members claiming they are progressives now they have joined the Tinubu empire.

GEJ is actually doing his best although he has some short comings which still annoys me but all in all no one is perfect only God. I hope APC Progressives understand that.

Attacking the president's every decision is not the solution unless you just want power rather than serve. I expect APC to provide solutions to the problems facing this country, afterall they are all in service not power hungry.

Lastly, the revenue Lagos gets to the level of development and double taxation is just appalling. The level of corruption in Lagos is so much, it has actually indebted Lagos state.

Now APC defence will be " America and othr advance countries also have huge debts" but I tell them to compare the level of development, population size, Land mass compare to a small state like Lagos.

I am not a politician but APC political party is much much worse than PDP.

Recently, Don Wayne was killed for killing people on New Year's day but Fulani herdmen have killed thousands of people for no just reason but the FG has failed to investigate or even make a statement about it.

Even worse El Rufia said he had to pay fulani herdsmen as protection.

It is just a matter of time before they come to the west.

It may sound funny now but until your brothers and family members are attacked then you will understand.

For those of us that travel to Ekiti, you will know you can either pass Kogi to enter or Osun. But now if you pass Kabba, the chances of you not being kidnapped or killed is very slim.
