A friend told me about Diamond Bank recruitment yesterday. i decided to ''google'' only to find this nairaland thread.

pls friends tell me whats up. How did you apply, via e-mail, their portal, or hardcopy? if Hardcopy, where was it submitted?

Has the test been written already? if yes, could another batch be called up? is it too late to apply?

i stay in Abuja.

Lucky you to be staying in Abuja. Just try locate their office on Muhammad Buhari Way...you should be able to get detailed responses to your queries there. Only speculations could we offer you here.

Does anyone have a clue as to how these invites flow in, especially for folks that had test, interviews et al at Abuja? Because considering the fact that all Abuja hopefuls had their whole exercise within a 'constrained' time, it's suprising that some folks you had the whole exercise with have gotten their invites while others haven't.

Of course, they couldn't have had it in a better place. But by your 'two sets', did you mean two different sets of tests, interviews and maybe medicals were had on two different occasions at Owerri?

Someone should please tell me something. Would I be right to assume that all these dudes professing 'love' to another must have met in times past? If not, then something must be seriously wrong somewhere...seriously.

All said and done, whatever the case, registration closes, according to the mail, in about 15mins from the time of this post (4pm to be precise). So let's just keep our fingers crossed and watch next developments from there.

A big congratulations to the lucky ones resuming TS in Lagos and Abuja on Monday! The good news, and sole consolation, for those of us awaiting TS invites is that whatever the number of people waiting to be called up, that figure is less '2 streams' now.
So the best we could do, while rejoicing with those resuming on Monday, is to continue to pray for DiamondBank so that our moments too would eventually come. God bless Diamond Bank Plc.

He sed d backlog of dos still awaiting TS callup (Dec set) is still much and its based on first come-first serve bases at DB meaning until they offset the backlog of dos awaiting we(May11-12set) myt nt be called up anytime soon. I felt crushed at first cz all effort of engaging mysef meaningfully b4 then has proven abortive bt then I remembered dt our case frm the on set has bn different frm dirs in d sense that we did our xam,interview n medical within d space of a month...so mayb..,just mayb our own process myt be enhanced too till d end...#justHOPEFUL

My brother, why would you want to subject your fate to what a friend said? Afterall, your guy isn't the Head HCM, Diamond Bank Plc. Neither is he an employee there at all. So if you've got some news, considered bad by your judgement, please just keep it to yourself and off the threads. We cannot afford our spirits to be dampened by some unfounded hearsays. Myself and a lot of folks out here believe, strongly, that we are resuming TS in the next batch of call-ups in JESUS name. All the same, brother, it is well.

That is a pertinent question that noone outside DBHR could answer without a great degree of uncertainty. For the 'hopefuls', however, patience would be a virtue.

Let it be said. If the TS invite didn't come last Tuesday, it must surely come this Tuesday...I mean today.

Point is they wanna knw weda you are smart...confident and interesting...and dnt forget to put up a smile...and dress neat n smart. Dnt stammer, Dnt form wot you are not...above all, drink water (I bought N100 bottled water)..a lot( not a gallon). It calms your nerves.

Do not forget that there were about 3-4 different interview panels for the Abuja interviews. So you might not be right when you said "all these weren't asked in abj". What you claimed to have been asked here are completely different from what I was asked.

It might just be good you check at Abuja. Or maybe you try call one of DB staff there.

I've decided to like give them till noon. Then thereafter, I will know what course of action to take.

Would you know if anyone has gotten any message from DB after the 2nd interview? Because according to one of those DB guys, he said messages would still be sent out to all candidates after the 2nd interview irrespective of whether one was able to get his medicals that same day or not.

This is partcularly for Abuja peeps.
I had my 1st and 2nd interview on Friday May 31 and June 1, respectively. I happened to be one of the very few that had their 2nd interview early on Saturday morning. But unlike what transpired the previous day, when 'successful' candidates were given medicals 'go-ahead', myself and about six guys that had their 2nd interview earlier on Saturday were asked to leave, that DB were gonna get back to us. The DB guy story was that they were trying to decongest the building as there were too many candidates around.
However, about the time I was getting to Lokoja (on my way back to Lagos that same day), I called a friend that I left in the building and he claimed to have had his 2nd interview, and was also on his way to have his medicals. He claimed that the guy in charge of the medicals 'thing' later showed up.
I just wanna confirm if there's anyone with same fate as mine in the house. How does one go about this?

NB: That my guy claims that the 'medicals letters' of those of us that left earlier on were also printed, and the names called out to check if we were still around. As a matter of fact, he claims to have heard my name on the list.
