joseph1832: joseph1832:Don't vex tomorrow when someone says all Yoruba people are dirty and into juju Or all Igbo people can kill for money Or all Muslims are terrorist Or all Edo women are prostitutes Or all northerners are illiterate Or all Benue and Calabar women are loose. Learn not to generalize. PS I don't believe Ny of the above statements or use them. |

I shake my head after reading some comments here. The reasoning here is why so many of our young men get slapped with rape charges abroad, once a woman says no it means no, any attempt after that is rape. This was a girl entrusted to him by her father who is a friend/neighbour but he couldn't control himyself. Unfortunately at the end of the day people of the same mindset as the OP will continue to blame the victim and encourage other irresponsible men like the rapist to continue. |
A young lady in a wine coloured camry had her car hit by police in a convoy at Genesis junction in GRA. Two policemen jumped into her car with their guns and ordered her to follow the convoy. I pray she is okay I don't trust our police one bit. |
The 3rd paragraph of the post says they had already returned them, so why is this news! |
agborman96: abikubu:I didn't know Jonathan was president and Diezani Minister of petroleum between 2009 to 2012 |
He made this comment in response to a question on the Niger Delta, how he would manage, the amnesty programme, bunkering and inclusive development. So his answer was indeed one kind. Buhari is now in a democratic setting and anywhere in the world a politician has to be carefull what he says because it can and will be used against him. It is even worse now because the of the Internet, even if he could muzzle the press, information is now at people's finger tips and open to different interpretations. |

You have a dysfunctional eustachian tube. This is a tube connecting the ear to somewhere at the back of your nose and whose function is to equalise pressures in the aer with those outside. See an ent consultant to make sure nothing is physically blocking the tube. Other small measures are to chew gum during accent or descent of the plane. If you have a cold decongest your nose at least 30 minutes to take off. Over the counter decongestants like Otrivin nose drops will help. But note that they are not to be used for more than 5 days as this is dangerous. Good luck. |
Malaria is a deadly disease to people that do not have immunity. In children it is one of the top causes of death in the sub Saharan region because of their lack of immunity. The average adult Nigerian has been exposed and developed such immunity that's why it doesn't kill us so easily. Ask any Nigerian abroad who has been diagnosed with malaria especially in the UK and Europe, they are quarantined and treated as if they have a mild form of Ebola. Evenamongst pregnant adult Nigerian women malaria related deaths are not uncommon. |
Which airline has this kind of first class? |
She is the daughter of Otunba Adekunle Ojora one of Nigerias original rich men. |
forlahkhe:Just write your petition for the record. Don't worry yourself about what they will do or not do.As I said earlier if all who have a complaint put it in writing the authorities will be forced to look into it. So far as we all leave it to God nothing will ever change. Remember it is many little drops of water that make a mighty ocean. |
forlahkhe:At least write a petition to the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria, luckily you know the names of the doctors involved. Get their address of the Internet. Even if nothing is done today it will be in their files. One day something will happen and that your petition will become the game changer. I advice people to complain even if I am involvedelighted. Nowadays the medical council is taking petitions seriously! |
Sorry for your loss. I agree it is systemic failure but I also believe you should complain. Everyone that has any issue with any hospital should complain in writing. It may seem nothing is done that will undo the wrong done to you but I tell you that if a CMD gets 10 letters every month from different people complaining of a particular department he will look into the matter and make efforts to make it better. if no one complains the status quo remains? |
Things happen, I know someone personally who was sleeping and was hit by a stray bullet in the neck. Same bullet through the roof, till today nobody knows who fired the shot. This wasin Gowon estate The guy survived after surgery to remove the bullet which was lodged next to his spine. |
i am not saying she should or should not take her husbands advice its her choice and she will have to live with whatever decision that she makes. I just wonder what the relies would be like if it was a guy whose wife gave him the same advice. |
eden2015:Go to the nearest teaching hospital with a letter of referral from any doctor. Most have an ENT department. Private ENT are rather expensive so be ready to excercise some patience as the appointment s given in teaching hospitals are usually long. |
In medicine never say never. Or do people forget that a few years ago a black couple gave birth to a white child (not an albino). The S gene is a genetic mutation and even though extremely rare a fresh mutation can occur. There are diseases that are genetic that affect 1in 10000000 people. In other parts of the world this phenomenon would be studied by genetic scientist not layman on a blog. |
Nice! |
Not true, my female dog has periods, since my compound is concreted she messes it up during those periods. |
I am talking from expirience here, I had my kids after 11 years of marriage and God blessed us with twin boys. Thank God for the husband I married and the family he was from that encouraged us for those years of waiting. His friend meanwhile divorced his first wife after 5 years and remarried a younger girl that has 2 children now. I cant say if he is happy or not but I noticed he disn't go for functions with the new wife unlike the first wife, the lunches and dinners he always used to invite us for in his house have ceased and he is so interested in boys nights out nowadays always asking my husband to go for drinks and this is someone I never knew to touch alcohol. But I guess the important thing for some is that he has kids. |
Tearoses and Babyosisi have talked to you the way I would talk to my brother in this situation. All I would add is that till you can sort out your mess, put aside money every month to buy things a baby needs, if you can afford it 5k or more. Ask any mature female around you to guide your purchases and make sure they get to your baby's mother. If you give cash it will always look small. If she throws it back at your face, ignore and do it again the next month and the next and the next till they relent. It's allright to say I want to be a part of my child's life but the truth is actions speak louder than words. Show them not tell them. |
The Rh or rhesus factor is usually a problem if it is not diagnosed before the woman's first pregnancy. What happens is that just after delivery the woman is given anti rh injections. If she has been pregnant before and had a D&C or miscarriage the injections are given earlier in the pregnancy. The chances of her meeting a re negative male are very slim as it is rare. |
[quote author=Rotimi47 post=33097758]True talk; that guy like anything wuruwuru.[/quote But why did he mention Wike's name when the minister in charge at the time this latest list was advertised( September 2014) and the exams taken and names released (March / April 2015) Wike was not the minister but a Northerner Shekarau. Why didn't he mention the Minister who was in charge from 2010 to September 2013 Ruqquyat Ahmed Ruffian under whom the project started and the guidelines were set. If he is not being clever by half he wouldn't mention the Southerner who was the acting minister from September 2013 to March 2014 and leave out the northerners who were in charge for longer periods. |
Someone is being mischievous mentioning Wike, the last set of awards were advertised in September 2014 when Shekarau was already the substansive minister. Nyesom Wike was only in charge of the ministry of education from September 2013 to March 2014 when he resigned to contest for the elections. Prior to that fro 2010 to sept 2013 there was woman as the Miniter of Education, Ruqquyat Ruffai, who presided over the first PRESSID awards. Shekarau was in charge for this latest awards from start to finish so why didn't they mention his name and mention Wike. I am not from Rivers state, I don't live there and I don't know Wike. He may be the worst human being in the world but there is something called being fair. |
Funds from Tetfund are available. I know because I work in a university and every year they send out memos for research proposals, however the criteria is very stringent and many lecturers are just publishing for promotion not really to add to the body of knowledge. The few that go through the rigorous process get their funds. The kind of proposal they require is like you are doing a proposal for PHD thesis in a top foreign university, you have to calculate to the last penny what the funds are meant for and these projects are meant to cover years of research not 3 month papers that you can write without ever leaving your office. Every year they advertise and all the deans I have worked with complain of the lackadaisical attitude of lecturers. |
Actually after the pregnancy as your hormone levels return to normal it should return to normal. |
You may have a condition known symphysis pubis dysfunction. Before delivery there is a softening of the joints around the pelvis to allow for expansion during delivery. For a few women this is excessive and causes so many odd symptoms including what you described. See an orthopaedic surgeon and google it up yourself so as to get a better idea. |
This report is interesting, first it's midnight , cable TV was r here to interview the inec staff, then the news people even got to tell us what was on an inec staffs Facebook account at that time of the night ![]() |
All they needed to do was show the photograph to a doctor and they would have been told the child had a congenital defor it called Anencephaly. |
