I hope they are able to save this young man. His cancer is already advanced and has returned after going into remission once before making it harder to treat. |
Where is it a crime for a private business man to donate cars for a campaign of a political party? Did EFCC say the cars were from a government agency or government funds. If not to be fair they should probe the source of the private jet that Buhari used during his campaign or the cares and buses used for APC campaigns. Otherwise all I see is giving a dog a bad name in order to hang it. |
Nigerians have short memories, if not nobody would take this guy serious. I remember when there was a bomb blast and he claimed responsibility only to start begging that it was a joke when arrested, The guy is just a publicity hungry person who says things to shock people and get noticed. |
I don't think anything is wrong with PMB going to Mecca for prayers, but what is with all these dignitaries following him about as if going for a political meeting. Why are they posing for group pictures and jostling to stand with the president. Did they go to worship God or do further homage to PMB. |
Na wah oh. when reasonable countries are putting some of these places on their watch list because of terrorism, we want to open our arms and welcome them without any background checks. |
He is not suing that it was released to EFCC but to Sahara reporters and other online media |
Ramwab94:Actually Yes! If a prescription is written in France and taken to Nigeria a doctor or pharmacist can still interprete it. The drug names remain the same and the shorthand is universal. Its just languages like Russian, Arabic which do not use the same alphabet that will have issues. |
Apology accepted and I am Ma not Sir. Please dear junior collegue try to reply people civilly. I actually don't get offended at what people write on nairaland because I told myself that it's a faceless forum and for all I know I may be replying my gateman or my cook and I really don't expect us to reason on the same level. So when you write remember that you are representing a group of cultured persons. Don't descend to the level of those whom you are superior too. Have a lovely day. |
Lagusta:I practise that crappy bollocks .That's why if I prescribe a drug to be given twice a day , I don't write twice a day I write b.i.d. , that's why duration of drugs is written as fractions eg 4/7 for 4 days or 1/12 for one month. Having actually lectured medical students and post graduate students I don't just do these things. I have to know why I do them in order to explain to my students why they need to learn to do those things. Am I making any sense. Same reason many medical terminologies use the Latin roots e.g. ology, otomy, ectomy this is done so any medical person who speaks any language with a Latin root can understand these terminologies. |
Doctors are taught a form of medical shorthand that is meant for pharmacist to decipher, they are also taught the short hand in school. One major reason is so that a prescription written by an English doctor can be interpreted by a French or Germany or Spanish medical person. |
gbrown:Please can you tell me which Nigerian university PMB's children attended. |
His father was a half caste with a Nigerian mother from Akassa in Ogbia LGA Bayelsa state. The list of his siblings is very incomplete, his eldest brother is Francis Bruce a well known businessman in Port Harcourt with no political ambition or affiliations. They share father but not mother. At least 2 of his sisters are missing from the list, I can't remember the names but one Aunty Helen as she is called owns Bambi Creche in Shonibare estatend recently lost her husband. Although from Bayelsa state they all grew up in Lagos except the eldest and he Ben Bruce only began to associate with Bayelsa during his tenure as NTA Dg. |
Do they want to kill Sahara reporters, 99% of their news is from an undisclosed source or an insider or an officer who does not want to be named. |
He should ask Fashola how that went in Lagos State. I used to work in a Lagos State hospital when he sacked doctors and at the end of the day all were recalled. The locum doctors he was able to recruit were not specialist or consultants. Unfortunately since then I can count 4 consultants in my department alone that left the system and all started talking about leaving during the strike. Other cadres of more senior , expirienced doctors left and are also leaving and this is a department that was already short staffed. Aregbesola should be careful because with the small expirienced his residence have they may be snapped up in other short staffed centres and if stability returns to the Northopaedic East. Also the UK has opened its doors again to Nigerian doctors after the EU doctors showed them pepper so there are other alternatives for these stupid doctors like myself. Guess who suffers in the end? |
What I don't understand is that a serving officer stole billions, he didn't buy property all over the world, he didn't invest in stocks, he didn't build a university, he didn't convert it to dollars and move it out of the country to Dominican Island or wherever. Instead he left all that cash in a bank account waiting for EFCC to discover it, remember BVN was started before the hand over. He wasn't worried that they would tie the monies to him. They say 4 persons alone had 1 trillion in the bank, Dasukigate people shared $2.1 billion dollars, NNPC guys stole XYZ, NIMASA boss XYZ was traced to his account and then TSA removes only 2.1 trillion naira from the banks and the banking system is collapsing. Something doesn't add up with all these stories floating about. |
I wonder how much itthe army paid for this one? |
TonyeBarcanista:He has no integrity and is as corrupt as the rest. A serving public officer whose salary cannot be more than 15 million per annum gave you 170 million to help him buy a house and you agreed to be a front in that transaction. He hasn't told us what his cut was supposed to be and how many times he had done such deals in the past and for whom. There is no way he thought that was legitimate money and so is no better than the receiver of stolen goods after a robbery. He was caught and cornered that is why he returned the money. The truth is many Nigerians don't even recognise corruption when they see it and only shout if it concerns a public figure. That is why this so called fight against corruption will fail if we do not change our core values as a people. Integrity my ............. |
https://www.nairaland.com/2853427/prayer-all-those-said-pdp. I apologise I thought you were the one in this thread. He kind of writes like you, insulting any person who doesn't agree with his point of view so I am sure people will understand why I thought it was the same thread. |
Thank God , but I am not a man oh. |
akinsal:Ani bai tubo? |
omenka:The thread is still there and you never said Amen instead you abused the OP and tried to turn the question around to which I said Amen. You used one of your alternate monikers and I guessed it was you from all the thundering etc. |
alrahmanonline:Why are you vexing ! You say the man did nothing and I say OK, let things go back to the way it was before he came and spoilt it and you are firing me and thundering me. I have never held political post neither have I benefitted in any way from a political apointee. But I would rather have the improvements that occurred in the last 16 years than go back to how life was in 1998. I would rather have my phone, my internet, drive a brand new car, use my mastercard to buy things online when like, so far as it's with the money I worked for. God forbid that I go back to the way things were when Buhari was in power in 1984 at least in my life. So AMEN! |
There is a small shop at Mende, Maryland by Suya spot onSunmola shop. I can't remember the name but she tends to have a wide variety of baby foods. |
For some unexplained reason some children just want to eat adult food once they taste it while others destiny it. She needs milk yes but she won't take it. Feed her with a wide variety of food to make sure she is getting valuable nutrients and try and sneak milk into as many as possible. If she eats rice, look for recipees for rice pudding. Mash potatoes with milk, if she will eat creaks like coco pops even better once they are in milk. I had to express for one year because one of my twins wouldn't breast feed and wouldn't take formula. If she is in the 50th percentile she is doing great. She will catch up and overtake her mates then you will complain she eats too much ![]() |
I found a microwave sterilizer bowl in a shop but most times I just put about 200mls of water in a bowl and turned my bottles upside down with the teats inside after washing. I then set it on the highest and microwaved for 5 minutes. I made a few holes in the cover of the bowl for steam to escape. I also used waterguard solution to soak them during the day. A small bottle costs N150 and lasts a long time if you follow the instructions. Always use tongs to remove them never your hands so you don't contaminate th clean bottles. Then I cannot emphasize hand washing. Anybody including yourself must wash their hands before feeding your kids, don't just pass them to anybody to help you feed them. Same for anybody making their milk or food. That little act saves lives. |
How will customs make more in 2016 when there is less dollars to import. Many people whose business involved importation are crying because of the dollar restrictions and people are expecting more money from customs. Already the number of ships that came into the country fell drastically in the last quarter of the year and you expect them to make more money. If people cannot import customs cannot charge period. |
For all who say PDP never did anything right, may their lives go back to how it was prior to 1999. Anyone says PDP was a total failure and doesn't say AMEN to this prayer is a hypocrite. Since it is PDP that destroyed everything may your lives(Not mine) go back to the fuel scarcities of yesteryear, the lack of available and affordable telephones and NITEL being a monopoly. May the Lagos Benin and East West roads return the the time when we used to spend 2 days on this road. May we go back to all using cyber cafes and the yahoo yahoo boys that scammed everybody. May you go back to queuing in the bank ap with tally numbers and may ATM's become a thing of the past in your lives. May the private universities and schools as we know them all disappear or become out of reach to the average NigerianPlease think back to how your lives were then and say a big AMEN. Anyway at the rate we are going we will get back there in some areas. At least Mastercards were not available to the average Nigerian prior to 1999 and we are going back to the time when no Nigeriancould do online transactions, because we were deemed fraudulent. The dollar is going higher so soon the average young person will not be able to afford a brand new car and cars like Tokunbo Tercel and Starlet and the old golf will come back. keep praying hard that Buhari takes your life back to the pre 1999 utopia that Nigeria was. PDP could have done more with the money available, there was widespread corruption but to say they didn't do anything good is hypocritical. |
pardon the typos I am typing and struggling with one guy that wants to help me ![]() |
Bakes need milk till they are 1 year old, lots of milk. The food you are giving them is alien to them and they need time to adjust and learn the textures. The more you try and force them the more they resist. I even breastfed one of mine til 22 months and expressed for his twin till 14months. Thank God we have never been to hospital for more than immunization and a domestic accident. We only had 1 episode of diarrhea when we travelled to the village and they are over 3 now. The important thing is cleaning their bottles, do it yourself. If electricity is good at your end you can also use your microwave to sterilizer them every night before going to bed. Again never make milk in advance, measure the powder into the empty bottles and the keep hot water handy in a flask. If they just drink a little and you don't want to throw the rest away. change the teat to a new one and put in the fridge but make sure you don't reward it more than once and throw it away if it's more than 3 hours from when you first made it. All this while slowly introduce them to solids without a fuss. When they start eating you will be the one to shout they eat too much. Take this both from a health proffesional and an older mum. Good luck! |
It's the poor man that buys okrika, the expensive lace that the elite wear is also smuggled in, openly after paying customs men at the airport to look the other way. Do you think those who wear these second hand clothes wouldn't rather buy brand new if they could afford it. Government should rather improve the economy to a level where no Nigerian needs second hand clothes to survive and stop this ban that affects only the poor. |
No update or are you really a scammer like people said you were. |
Have a lovely day.
